Weekend Trip to Green Acres Resort

Bruce is an excellent host. The camper was spotless. The bed was extremely comfortable. The showers and bath house were clean and well designed. The beach was an added bonus and the communal fire pit a great place for meeting your neighbors! We’will definitely go back.

We really enjoyed our stay here! We only planned to stay here one night in the Daisy camper, but when our other camping site fell through, we wound up coming a day early and setting up in the tent site. Bruce was super welcoming and took the time to show us all of our options for camping out. The tent site was flat, comfortable, and close to the bathhouse. We loved falling asleep to the sound of frogs and crickets. :) lots of cool birds here, too! We spent the second night in the Daisy camper which was super cute and cozy. The location of Green Acres is also really nice. It’s a quick walk to downtown Floyd, and about a 35 minute drive to Fairy Stone State Park. Overall, highly recommend staying here!

Central Virginia
