Beautiful spot. It’s quiet and set away from the main road so we felt plenty removed from the world! The bathroom/shower is great with plenty of hot water. Hosts were helpful and nice.

Kerwin’s farm site is picturesque, quiet, and fairly private. There’s a restroom with good amenities in an outbuilding on the farm, and the land is quite lovely.
Definitely have a sunshade or similar in the summer as you’re in the middle of an open field and the sun does beat down a bit. A short walk across the field takes you to several lovely trails in the back woods of the property. Trails are moderately well maintained and very dog friendly.
I didn’t get to meet Kerwin as he was out for the holiday weekend, but a family member came and got me checked in and everybody was very helpful.

We were looking for a nearby getaway to leave the hustle and bustle of the suburbs behind and we found it here. Kerwin’s land and farm is quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed seeing the animals, watching the beautiful sunset, a distant thunderstorm, and walking the property. Kerwin also has a gorgeous wedding venue on his property. Bring chairs so you can sit outside and take it all in. We would love to stay here again!

Beautiful area. The section of land that was advertised was actually already occupied which we were unaware of. So we ended up having to camp in the woods without access to water at our campsite as advertised. We also weren’t allowed to fish (the only reason we chose this location)at his pond due to a wedding but he was nice enough to show us to another of his pond with the cows- serene experience fishing with the cows. Just a little miscommunication but everything turned out great. We went Memorial Day weekend so I don’t know if late spring is tick season, did experience quite a few ticks probably due to the season. But overall a great camping trip!

Our stay with Kerwin was exceptional. The site was private, well kept and very picturesque. Kerwin was a wonderful host. He ensured that we had everything we needed, answered all of our questions promptly and was very friendly and personable. We were even given a tour of the wedding venue on the property and it is magnificent!! We would highly recommend this site to anyone and would definitely stay here again.

We couldn't have enjoyed our stay more! Kerwins land is more than just a place to get away from it all. Upon arrival, Kerwin greeted us and took us for a ride in the UTV to tour the property and explore places to tent camp. My son and a few friends tent camped by the creek while I enjoyed the comforts of the single wide trailer. We were able to enjoy fishing, target shooting, walking the trails, making friends with the farm animals especially the donkeys, camp fires, star gazing and the tranquility of 400 acres! Even though it is a working farm and Kerwin is a busy man, he made every effort to make sure our needs were met and was very quick to respond to any questions I had. He even took time out to bring us up to the barn to bottle feed the baby Lamb! Life is about making memories and we accomplished that here! Lastly, the wedding vene they built is top notch quality and beautiful!

Mr. Kerwin was an awesome host! We picked a rainy day to visit his land and we do not regret it one bit. The kids went fishing, we played cards inside and I took the dogs out for a nice trail run the second day. The sunrise was amazing! We will most definitely be back!

Very pretty spot. Great piece of land away from any roads or activity. Level concrete slab with hook-ups is first class. It is private but there is a house 100 yrds away with a few outbuildings. These neighbors were quiet and we had no issue. It was a very good overall stay.

Well to start with Kerwin was a awesome owner/host. He met with us as soon as we got there and gave us a quick run down of the property, he gave us authorization to go across the road to the more than 400 acre farm which is beautiful.
A quick Note: The owner also allows “approved hunting” on the property so you need to be smart and wear some visible hunter orange if you go walking in the woods during hunting season. We never felt unsafe and Kerwin was great about letting us know about the hunting, so just be smart!!!
There is a rental house next to where the RV camping concrete pad is, but there was never a problem with the tenant there, in fact he brought us some firewood and was also very nice!! We did get a visit by his dogs but they were both very tame and only barked a few time during our 1 week stay..
So all in all a super good stay, thanks to Kerwin and family for having places like this for us to stay, Bruce and Debbie

Beautiful, relaxing farm with nice walking trails. Kerwin was very friendly. Great place for a campfire and stargazing. The dogs from the neighboring house wandered over a few times but they seemed friendly.

We had an amazing time at this camp site! It had everything we were looking for in an overnight spot. Kerwin is an awesome host! The night sky was next level GREAT! We even saw some shooting stars 🤩 We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area!

Great site with full hook for 30 AMP plus water/sewer. Lots of room to walk around and great for dogs to be off leash. Saw deer both days which was cool! Great jump point for lots of activities around the area.

This was an amazing experience! The lodging is miles off the road, tucked away with wildlife and beautiful scenery. The accommodations were SPOTLESS!! It was cleaner than any other hotel or anywhere we had ever stayed before. The owner and his family were very hospitable and allowed us to tour the breathtaking barn they had built for weddings. I wish we knew someone getting married so we could recommend it! We got to visit the animals and our even son got to bottle feed a two day old calf. The lightning bugs in the trees at night while sitting at the campfire were the perfect entertainment to round off a great day!
Don't hesitate to stay here! It was such a relaxing and enjoyable weekend and we will certainly return!

Mr. Kerwin and family were very responsive, accommodating and hospitable. As soon as we arrived, he took us on a tour of The Barn at Pine View, and it was absolutely breathtaking! He took time to get to know us and suggested activities to do and locations to visit within the area. I highly recommend staying at this location to unwind and relax.

I can’t even begin to say enough nice things about this spot. Perfect level concrete pad with full hook ups and a country view! Sounds to good to be true. Kerwin has been so helpful and accommodating. I would recommend this spot even if no one asked lol. Our dog also loves to be able to run around and stretch his legs! Also the town of Keysville is very cute and we are looking forward to their Christmas parade!

This was a wonderful spot just to unwind. It was very private and the field gave a great view. Kerwin was a great host and answered any question I had. We walked some of his trails and made a couple of our own. We walked across the main road to see his sheep, donkeys and horses. Grocery store is less than 10 minutes away. Staunton River Battlefield State Park was an unexpected spot to explore. That was about 30 minutes away. We truly look forward to staying again.

Beautiful and quiet campsite. We plugged into 110 power but he had 30 amp available also. Nice level concrete pad for trailer. Host was friendly and had some helpful suggestions on a place to stop for lunch on the next leg of our trip. Would definitely stay here again.
