Peaceful long weekend

This is the third hipcamp location I've stayed at and by far one of the most relaxing! There are several open areas to set up a tent under trees, by the dock, or park a trailer/ camper in the field. We had 3 golden retrievers with us who had an absolute blast jumping off the dock into the water! Then we simply attached their leashes to the tie out lines we ran along the trees. Nothing more satisfying than to see 3 goofy puppies tired out from swimming and taking long afternoon naps on their doggy camp cots. It was all too easy to fall asleep in a hammock or on a chair since we had the place all to ourselves. We brought a 5×8 trailer with a canoe and kayak rack, plus all of our gear & had no issues backing it up into the trees closer to the water where we wanted to set up. There's a bathroom tent set up in the open field, which my husband said was neat and orderly, and a couple of trash cans to put your trash bags into at the end of your stay. I expected there to be a lot of mosquitoes and ticks because of the water and trees, but was pleasantly surprised by the lack of them! It was in the 80s while we stayed, so as far as bugs go, it could've been much, much worse than just the few gnats, orb weaver spiders, and such. We really enjoyed our stay and will absolutely come back again.

Camping here was a great experience. We were in a private location, and the site was much larger than expected! There were several hammocks, a zip line for the kids, and several kayaks. They even had a snack basket and a happy birthday picture for my son!

We really enjoyed Lev at the Lake. The hosts are super responsive and kind. The property is beautiful and very peaceful. One of the best Hipcamps we have stayed! We stayed in our Rooftop tents right by the lake and enjoyed every minute!

Camped out with my nephews over the weekend. Had a nice cool overcast day on the reservoir. Set up our tents, fished on the water in the provided kayaks, ate burgers for dinner, and enjoyed the campfire. This is my second time here and it is magical. Very quiet and peaceful. Most of the time the only sound you will hear is the birds. Highly recommend this site. I will be back.

Crystals property was absolutely amazing. There are plenty of different areas to choose from to set up camp but we opted to stay in the woods closet to the water. It was the perfect place to do some fishing and enjoy the water. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, beautiful place to camp.

Hidden Gem on the Water

I think I may have found the most beautiful, private campsite on water, yet. This is accessible by 2WD. You can camp anywhere from the open grassy field all the way down to the reservoir. They have kayaks and a canoe and many other amenities on property for you to use. I went fishing on a nice day and I didn’t see anyone else anywhere that day. It was incredibly peaceful and I think I had the best sleep I’ve ever had when I’ve been camping. I actually was able to put my tent on the floating dock. I definitely recommend this for anyone who’s looking for a solo trip or to bring your family.

My sister I had an awesome time camping here with my two dogs! It’s so peaceful and secluded, and it was awesome being able to pitch our tent right by the water! I loved fishing off the dock, and the kayaks were such an amazing addition! We had a great time paddling around the lake with the dogs!
10/10 would recommend, and we will definitely be back!!

Relaxing on the water

My husband and I loved staying there last night in our sprinter van. Views were great. The hosts kind and helpful. Easy to get down to the water in our van. Delightful.

Our site was overgrown and uncomfortable. No pictures were provided beforehand of what it would actually look like. We were told we would be able to have a short walk to have water access of our own and this was not true. To get to the water, we had to trample through other campers sites and disturb them. Signage was poor to even find our site when we got there. Really no perks to this space. Luckily I have great friends and we made it fun, but I would never recommend or return.

Great stay. Peaceful. Was slightly raining the whole time so we decided to bring the van and sleep at the at the parking spots. But I can wait to come back and enjoy to it's fill glory. Thanks for great stay, will return soon!

Peaceful camping at the waters edge

We absolutely enjoyed ourselves while staying at Lev at little lake! It was a beautiful drive there and the property was amazing. The drive down the property to the water was cool and felt like an adventure but was also easily drive able.
We opted to tent camp literally 15 ft from the water which was awesome with perfect view the whole time! The waters edge was natural with a small step into water, the kid and dogs played in the shallow water and enjoyed it! I felt the shoreline was very clean with little to no debris or sketchy areas.
The fishing was also on fire for me! We caught bait fish easily and quickly from shore with worms, then I got a 26lb, 24lb, 15lb and some smaller catfish using the bait fish!!
It was a very peaceful place with nealy no noise at all except the sounds of nature. They had various kids activities (hammocks, ninja climber, etc) near the water to keeps the kids entrained and there was a nice selection of kayaks/canoe. Crystal was easy to deal with and responsive yet maintained our privacy and left us alone which was nice! You could easily see all the hard work they have been putting into their property and the amenities they have coming! The lower RV spot where we parked our cars was also a very short distance to the water and would be nice for small to medium camper trailers!
We will definitely be back and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful camping spot!!

My dog and I tent camped right on Little Lake, which was absolutely beautiful! We were fortunate to have the place to ourselves, and the lake was so quiet and peaceful. This was in February during an unusually warm several days. The site are off the Beaten Track, about 20 minutes to Occoneechee State Park. Looks like the owners are expanding, so it's a work in progress. I would definitely stay here again.

Private camping on quiet reservoir

Simple primitive camping right at the water's edge. A few small extra touches like a play table for kids, small chairs, and some hammocks. Custom decent catfish off the bank at the campsite, as well as some decent largemouth around the lake. They're only seems to be five or six houses on the lake total so it's very quiet and private. Be prepared for bugs.

This is by far my favorite camp site I’ve ever been to. The owners where absolutely amazing like honestly I couldn’t of asked for a better host. The site was gorgeous, I had my 28 foot camper tucked behind the gorgeous trees with full surrounding just nature. I felt super secluded and loved it! We also took kayaks and decided to go out and fish in the lake. And let me tell you it was just gorgeous, I felt like I was in a Nicholas sparks movie. We also caught some pretty huge catfish. Throughout the night it was so peaceful and relaxing. I’ve never had a better experience!!! I HIGHLY recommend checking it out, you will love it!

Camping with my daughter and dog.

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at the property. We stayed down by the lake and enjoyed how the views. There was a slack line obstacle course, that my daughter loved to play in. Crystal also had a gazebo in place, which had a lot of camping accessories, in case you forget something. Crystal was very nice and answered all my questions, almost instantly. I will definitely be returning next year to enjoy the lake again.
