Great host, tent campsite is much smaller than it appears in the picture, but nonetheless, clean porta johns and hot showers were much more than most of the people camping inside VIR had

I was very happy camping here! David was very helpful especially in a tough situation! I was so much happier camping here than on site at the blue ridge festival we’re everyone was on top of each other. it was spaced out just enough and peaceful, you have a table and even though service is hard to reach, he had wifi. Thank you so much for all you did for all of us campers that weekend! I highly recommend 😊

David was the saving grace for a crazy weekend. To no fault of David’s the Blue Ridge Rockfest was a disaster. David made sure his campers were taken care of. He installed showers with ample hot and cold water. Ran water lines to all the camp sites and even ran some electric. Located very close to the raceway. He even got some vendors out to his place so we were able to enjoy hot meals during the rainy weekend. He stopped by numerous times to check on everyone.

Great camp and David is wonderful! Would highly recommend staying here if youre traveling through. He si going to get tubing on the river set up soon and we might be taking the 5 hour trip back just to enjoy it!

The owner Dave was very helpful and accommodating, he was around the whole time helping out. Great camping and RV sites just a couple miles from VIR, we'd definitely go back.

The owner of this campground, David, is such a great guy! He has built up the place from scratch. The showers are awesome, the camping ground areas are level, there's electricity and water, the sites are surrounded by trees, and most importantly - the vibe is good. He has a general store being build right now and it looks very inviting. David has plans to continue making this campground a fun, safe, and comfortable place to be at.
There are sites for RV's, tent camping with electric, and primitive tent camping by the river. The RVs have their own area so if you tent camp, you aren't stuck listening to generators all night 👍
It's a good addition to the greater community area of Milton.
I have camped there twice and any time I am coming through the area, I will camp there again.

Very Basic, no electrical outlets. “Bathrooms” are porterjons put in the direct sunlight, so expect to sweat if you have to use them during the day. Showers are very basic as well. You have to buy water from their “general store”. So bring your own if you don’t want to buy.

I loved tent camping here, there was a water hookup, bathrooms, and showers. It is a smaller campsite but improvements are definitely being made and this was the first years this campsite is open. David was great and really helpful when showing us where our campsite was. He worked long hours making sure everyone was comfortable! My boyfriend broke his thumb and he made sure that he was okay and had everything necessary to fix it.

EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT, our host David went out of his way to bring us a great experience, we came out here for our frist Blueridge Rockfest and he had food trucks and vendors at the campground, even had the famous Oliver Anthony stop in the campground to say Hey 👋 , would highly recommend it's off the beaten path with tons of amenities, hot showers , bathrooms, general store , water connections, and electricity, 10/10, 5stars ,

Our host, David, was amazing. He helped us set up and break down our site. The location is walkable to VIR and the town of Milton. A must stay if you’re visiting VIR.

David was a fantastic camp host! He was present and did everything he could to make sure that campers were having a great time and didn’t need anything. There’s plenty of spots, fire rings, water taps, and electric. The ground was all level for tents. There’s showers with hot water on the camp ground. David also brought in food trucks, which I’m not sure if that was an all the time thing or just because there was a festival. I highly recommend and if I were to come back to the area will definitely be staying here again! David also went above and beyond by hooking campers up with free live music

David personally navigated us through the chaos and helped us park the RV in a shaded spot. We had water and electric hookups. Would recommend if you want to visit the race way.

The camping experience was great and had no problems with access to water and bathrooms. Only problem was the blue ridge rock festival experience, and not even getting to attend it.

Loved this spot! Will absolutely be using it again for any other camping needs in the area I might have. It's a nice and cozy campsite, and the owner and his family are so sweet and just all around cool people.
Location was super convenient for what I needed. Plenty of good flat tent spots for small and large tent needs. Site was close to the main road while still being hidden away in the woods.
My car could handle this, but just a warning, it helps to have good tires and ground clearance, as the road to the site from the main road is unpaved and a little bumpy/rocky, but short so not too bad and no major inclines.
Porta potty was close enough to the camp but not so close you could smell it while sleeping, and it sounded like the owner was planning on continuing to upgrade the site, so maybe there'll be "real" toilets in the future.
Fire pits looked nice, I didnt use them but I walked by some other peeps fires and it seemed like they worked great. There's also a general store and jewelry stand they have really close to camp for shopping needs, and it's right down the road from another general store and dollar tree.
Bonus, the outdoor shower was actually pretty great, had hot water (though getting the hot water wasn't super intuitive at first) and decent water pressure that wasn't too rough on my sunburns,. The open top let some leaves in, but I got a good look at mother nature and some stars while showering which is exactly what I want while camping👍 thumbs up overall 🤘👌⛺

Definitely a work in progress, but David was so accommodating! The terrain is a bit arduous to maneuver and set up camp. However, David made certain that we had electricity available and provided leveling boards for our camper. It will be a great spot (especially for those visiting the nearby raceway) once the project has been completed.

David is a wonderful host. He was waiting for us and directed us to our spot. The campground was clean with gravel lots and plenty of room. There is water. It's a new campground, he didn't have electric hookups but will have electric soon. I messaged him and he got back to me pretty quickly. The area was very quiet no noise, there are spot that have shade, the middle spots do not have any shade which was fine for when we went. VIR is about 3 minutes away and the town is about 7 minutes away. Very nice town with restaurants. If we happen to be around that area would definitely stay, there again and highly recommend it.
