Tucked into a quiet corner of our working farm called Heritage Farm, Holly Forest offers a peaceful retreat with easy access to shared amenities. Guests have access to water, electricity, and our centrally located Bathhouse, which includes showers, restrooms, and parking. Each day, we provide battery boxes for running a fan or charging small electronics. Heritage Farm is rooted in natural, sustainable practices and hands-on learning experiences. Depending on the season, you may find the farm bustling with activity—especially during flower season as we cultivate our blooms for Cultivate Flower Co., or while we care for our animals and craft small-batch products like our Kinda Crunchy Goat Milk Soap. No matter the time of year, you'll see us tending to the land and the animals we love.

Glamping Screenhouse "The Retreat"
Our stay was a very last minute decision and I feel so fortunate to have found this place in my search. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous. We actually booked The Tranquility Cabin, stayed our first night there. It’s really nice with the wood burning stove. We rode the golf cart around, exploring the area and my husband was so interested in the screen houses. Jim and Becky were so accommodating and allowed us to switch the next morning. We spent 2 nights in The Retreat. It is tucked in the woods a little more offering more privacy. The clear roof is so nice, especially at night. Temperatures were pretty cool during our stay but heated mattress pad kept us cozy at night. Both places are great and we had a wonderful experience. The bathhouses are very clean and easily accessible. The Gathering area is so nice, we used the pizza oven, drank hot tea and enjoyed music from the record player. My husband fished a little, played pickleball, basketball and horseshoes. It was such a good experience. We will definitely return and highly recommend.

Relaxing at The Retreat

My boyfriend and I loved staying at The Retreat (screened cabin)! Jim and Becky were amazing hosts. The directions and communication were clear from the start. Our space was lovingly put together and very thoughtful. We were a bit worried about how hot we might get during our 2-day/night stay in August, but all the fans, misters, and other battery-powered cooling options kept us nice and cool. So did the paddling pool! The land itself is beautiful and serene. We really enjoyed sitting at the fishing pond at sunset, watching the horses graze, and cooking in the outdoor kitchen. Driving the golf carts around and playing basketball were also highlights of our stay. We can't wait to be back and try a different cabin or tent option next time. Thank you so much for having us!

I absolutely loved this place! Jim and Becky thought of everything. The tent was very well appointed and exactly like the pictures described. It was a wonderful solo travel experience and being close to the lake for early morning paddling was just perfect! Loved it and will definitely return.

Absolutely loved my first glamping experience! The Serenity Loft was absolutely beautiful and had everything you could possibly need for a relaxing and comfortable stay. The stairs were a little tricky at first, but I got used to them. The property itself was gorgeous and so peaceful—it truly felt like a little getaway from the everyday hustle and bustle. The host was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, which made the experience even more special. One of my favorite added touches was having a golf cart available to get around the property as needed. It made exploring and enjoying the beautiful surroundings so much easier and more fun! I would absolutely recommend this experience to all of my family and friends. If you’re looking for a peaceful, beautiful, and memorable getaway, this is definitely the place to stay! I can’t wait to come back!

We had a great stay at this glamping place and would definitely recommend it! We went in the summer, and it was a little too hot, so I’d recommend visiting in the autumn when the weather is likely to be more comfortable. The night sky was incredible and made the evenings really special. Our host was super nice, welcoming, and helpful. We also had a lot of fun getting to drive the golf cart around. Overall, it was a relaxing and memorable stay, and I’d happily come back!

Can’t recommend Jim & Becky’s homestead enough! It was the perfect weekend, they take such good care of each guest you really feel like part of the family - all while giving you the space to enjoy their land to make your visit your own. Gorgeous place! Very well thought out. I had a great time. Everything was clean, felt brand new, and I loved having the golf cart. They even added a little “swimming pool” - depth of water is about thigh high but it was so refreshing and my dog loved cooling down.

The site was breath taking, the amenities provided were everything and more! Everything was carefully thought out! It truly is a place to relax, unwind and enjoy homesteading life! My hubby and I celebrated our 25th anniversary there, and I would not have traded it for a different trip! It was what I needed in a time of mourning the loss of my father in February! Life is always noisy but this place has a way of quieting everything around you and really allowing us to it all in!

We loved our stay so much! What a gem of a place. A few families brought our little city girls here for the weekend. I'm pretty sure they made memories to last a life time. The golf carts really elevated the experience of glamping and the littles absolutely loved them! They fed the cows, played pickleball/basketball and played for hours despite the heat. Jim and Becky really dialed the whole experience in with all the little details. The pizza oven, the coffee/tea that are readily accessible any time of the day. The giant mist fan in the Gathering place came in clutch in 90 degree temps. Each unit was a little dream escape from the hustle and bustle of life. The beds were incredibly comfortable. It was a hot weekend but we slept wonderfully with the help of the fans in each cabin. The bathhouse is brand new and very clean but has a rustic vibe. The Gathering Place was where our crew spent the most time. We prepared meals there, created art there, watched the Hurricanes play on our laptop and chatted for hours. 10/10 would recommend. Can't wait to come back. A very special place. Thank you for the hospitality Jim and Becky!

Wow. What a beautiful place. Jim and Becky were welcoming and gracious hosts. Becky met us upon arrival and gave us an overview of the extensive amenities. The "lodge" was lovely and a perfect sleeping temperature for us in late May without using any of the fans, etc. We enjoyed playing pickle ball for the first time on the camp's court and hanging out at the "gathering" afterwards. It would be a perfect place for families with children. Our only regret is that we only stayed one night during a long road trip - we would've loved to stay the full weekend. Thanks, Becky and Jim for sharing this place with us!

This was my second time at Holly Forest- stayed in two different units and had a great experience both times. Jim and Becky are so welcoming and attentive to details. Even on a cold December night we were warm in The Lodge with the heated mattress pad. Thanks for having us!

Luxury Glamping "Serenity Loft"
We stayed at this cabin at Holly Forest for a few nights over thanksgiving. The cabin held our little family (2 adults 2 young kids) well on the loft bed and the pull-out couch. The grounds are beautiful and we had a ton of fun at the basketball court and the field next to it. We cooked food in the provided toaster oven/air fryer but could have easily used the common area equipment too (grill, griddle pan, pizza oven). Hosts were responsive to our needs. Bathrooms were clean and close to our cabin. We would come back!

Glamping-Style Cabin "The Lodge"
It was quite cold at night but we were given a space heater and the mattress had heating pads on both sides of the bed. The common areas had large space heaters and the showers gave us super nice hot water. It was so very cozy. We enjoyed fishing on their pond. The bathroom was so close to the lodge, we really didn’t need the golf cart they gave us, but it was fun to have anyways. They had huge jackery batteries that they made sure were full daily. This was genuinely a glamping experience. I loved it because we still definitely felt like we were “camping” just with high end amenities. We envisioned the entire space would be so perfect for any kind of weekend event just with all the different facilities within the sight. We stayed with our pups and they loved seeing the cows in the morning!! First time we took them camping and they did so great. We had a great stay :)

Glamping Screenhouse "The Hideaway"
We stayed at the screen house for one night and wish we could have stayed another night. The screen house itself was top notch… secluded yet close to the main area, clean, well maintained, and cozy. Jim and Becky did a great job of adding conveniences to the experience with heated beds, battery for charging, lighting, cooler with ice, bathhouse, cooking area with seating, and more. There are a few different options for accommodations including glamping tent, screen houses, and a cute little cabin with a loft. This is a great place for a group. They can cook together and enjoy the community space, very cozy. We will be back.
