We're 30 minutes from Silver Falls and Champoeg State Park where there's scenic bikeways and trails. A few minutes from the Tulip Festival in the spring.

This is a tree farm with 1000+ planted Christmas trees.
We put in campsites, a cabin, a barn loft, and a fire pit. We offer these to guests when not being used by our family and friends.

Both spaces are very private with their own access to the river, you can off leash your dogs to run free. the both spaces are so far from each other you won't even notice they are there. On the farm we raise our animals, city ppl gone country aka lazy farmers. We wake up late and work late! The Santiam River is very clear clean mountian water, great for rafting in the Summer time. If you like hiking there are many trails all around us, The Brittenbush Hot Springs is close (you will need reservations) and Silver Springs Falls as well Our farm is at the bottom of the mountain, close to the Sister ski resort if you want to come in the winter.

GeerCrest Farm was settled by the Geer family in 1848, and is still owned and stewarded by the family. The house Ralph and Mary Geer built in 1851 stands and is one of the oldest in Oregon to remain in the same family.
The farm features creeks, forests, pastures, orchards and gardens as well as the historic buildings. Currently we have four friendly sheep and a small flock of Mallard ducks to keep us company. Our peaceful, small farm offers a reflective immersion in nature and history among the occasional quacking of ducks and baaas of sheep. The scenery from all corners of the farm is incredible - a favorite is the westward view of the valley pasture at sunset -- called "Homer's View" after famous political cartoonist and Geer descendant, Homer Davenport. No matter which camping site you choose, the sounds of the creek, pond frogs, or conversing owls are sure to lull you to sleep.
Feel free to roam the farm, but always leave gates as you find them, open or closed. Please say hello to our sheep and barn cats (they may say hello first). Explore the Heritage Grove of historic trees, the Memorial apple orchard and pear glade with varieties circa 1840s, indulge your senses in our medicinal herb garden, and chat with our farm family while they water the veggie gardens, if you so wish! Your experience will certainly be unique to the season.

**WE ARE CLOSED FOR THE 2026 CAMPING SEASON- Our home and property sustained extensive wind related tree damage this winter, and we are still cleaning up, removing hazard trees, and rebuilding. We hope to be hosting campers again starting Memorial Day weekend 2027. **
We have a private, single site located on the banks of the McKenzie River in Rainbow, Oregon. The campsite is near our home, but feels private. The access driveway and site size make it best for camper vans and smaller RV’s. Long trailers, large RV’s and tent camping are not permitted at this time. The site has 50/30 amp and 120 volt outlets, as well as water and Wi-Fi. We have a porta-potty on site Memorial Day through Labor Day.
The property has many areas to set your camp chair or hang your hammock, and lots of short paths to explore. Recreation opportunities abound around here: hiking, biking, fishing, hot springs, cold springs, waterfalls, lava beds, whitewater boating on the river, and flat water paddling on the reservoirs. There are also four restaurants, a food cart, golf course and a general store nearby.

We loved the mountain views, the wildflower meadows to roam through, and the blooming brilliance of the lavender fields to sit in at sunset while sipping a beverage.
Mornings Mr. Rooster alert us of the coming sunrise, afternoons the mustang horse and highland cows grazed lazily outside our trailer door, the bullfrog croak lull us to sleep each night.

Highland cattle, alpacas, two ponies, a donkey, sheep and goats and those are only the domesticated animals. I also saw bunnies, Jack rabbits and a newt. And I know there was a bullfrog desperately seeking a mate! And then there were the beautiful sunsets, fields of Meadow Foam, flax and lavender plus tree farms. Really beautiful rolling hills and deep dark woods. Plus, the hosts were wonderful!!! Would absolutely choose to stay here again.

We had a 24 ft travel trailer which was very easy to maneuver and park. We came in the evening as the sun was setting. We had help from Connie’s husband & he explained everything to us when we arrived. Connie came down to feed the animals just after we arrived and showed my kiddos the animals & let them feed & pet them. There was a mustang horse, 2 highland cows, 2 large pigs, 2 alpacas, mini donkey, mini horse, many sheep (plus a baby!), many goats (lots of babies!), ducks, chickens, 2 Great Pyrenees farm dogs. The ducks had free range and they were soooo cute to watch. And beautiful colors! The animals here are very taken care of and happy. They are all very friendly & love the attention & snacks. We brought our dog & he was welcomed and got along well with all the other animals. We loved staying by the barn! Farm fresh eggs were a wonderful start to our day. We explored the entire property. The spot was exactly as described & we loved it. The weather was not the greatest, but we are from Washington so we know how to make the best with the rain. The farm is between silverton and silver falls state park, through beautiful scenery and homes. It’s obvious that people in Silverton take care of their city. There was a pet parade in town Saturday morning. There are fun shops and sites to see in town. The Gallon House Bridge has a cool history. We hiked the Ten Trails with the kids (no dogs allowed). The hike was BEAUTIFUL!!!!! We can’t wait to come back & see Lavender in bloom !

Jered and Stefanie’s property is great! Nice big flat space so getting in and out is so easy. By far the levelest place we’ve ever parked at! 😃. The view is beautiful and it is very peaceful. Highly recommend! The hosts were amazing with lots of excellent recommendations and making sure we got settled in. 😊

Can't find information about my Hipcamp reservation or receipt so I can't really write a review. No idea how much I was charged. Hipcamp is a lousy company in this respect.
Connie and her husband were nice - we didn't interact much as I had all I needed. Oh, internet worked well, which is a rarity at camp sites.
Site was fine (I don't know which one, again Hipcamp website) - porta potty close by 30 amp electric, water spigot. I needed 120 V which they cold provide but I found my converter. Quiet, slept well. Close to Silverton, 8 miles, quick 12 minutes for coffee. I belong to AnyTime fitness so I could shower. Also YMCA in town.

We enjoyed our long weekend at Jered & Stefane's Hillside RV Site. The host was fantastic. They were very communicative-provided the weather forecast, info about the area, good places to visit, and checked on us to make sure that things were going well. The rv site was perfect-easy to find, easy to hook up, and had great views! This location is away from all the people but not too far from several small towns, great hikes, and good food.

We had a great 4 night stay. Jered and Stefane were very welcoming and had thought of everything. We loved the acreage being on top of a hill and looking down, seeing the wild turkeys in town and deer in the cemetery. The property is immaculately kept, I don’t know how they do it!
The fire pit was so nice in the evening and is a must when camping. We had lots to do with going into Eugene, visiting McDowell Creek Falls and just exploring the area. Our one year old German Shepherd loved it too.
Our only problem now is getting the time to come back!
