Margaux is a 1969 Airstream Bambi tucked into a quiet garden in PDX. She may be small, but she’s full of light, charm, and nostalgia. Put a record on, slip into the hot tub, or just curl up and enjoy the city from your own little hideaway. Inside you’ll find a kitchenette, pull out bed, and simple glamping-style bathroom. The backyard, screened porch, chimenea, and spa tub are all yours to enjoy year round. Towels, linens, shampoo, coffee, and basic cooking supplies are provided. Our commissary offers wine, beer, and pre-rolls for purchase (let us know if you would prefer these items removed). Guest access: The garden, hot tub, and firepit are available year-round (quiet hours start at 10 PM, so please keep voice and music low). While this is a shared space, we respect our guests’ privacy and follow your lead. You may see us doing light gardening, home maintenance, or letting the pups out but we always do our best to give you the right of way. Other things to note: Margaux is a queer household. All are welcome, but kindness and respect are required. Intolerance of any kind is not permitted. Shared Spaces & Pets: You may see us doing some yardwork or taking the dogs out but we do our best to give you as much privacy as we can. We do live in an active neighborhood so a little noise is normal but minimal. We have three dogs and a cat who use the yard, so if you’re bringing a pet, make sure they’re friendly with other animals and leashed if needed. Mt. Tabor Dog Park is nearby for zoomies! Please help us keep the garden intact by making sure the is no digging or running through the plants. Guest Policy & Smoking: Only registered Airbnb guests may use the Airstream, yard, or hot tub. Smoking is allowed on the deck and please use the ashtray. Bathroom & Kitchen: The kitchen is small but has a stovetop, sink, and mini-fridge and is best for light meals. The bathroom has an RV toilet and handheld propane shower—please make sure you’re comfortable with these features. Entertainment & Amenities: Record player, VHS collection, books, garden firepit, and spa tub. Essentials provided: towels, shampoo/conditioner/soap, coffee/tea, and basic cooking supplies. The Cloud, is currently in the process of becoming a retreat space and eco village for guests to come experience. While still curating the space, the land is being brought together with a passion for saving trees and their priceless ecological function. The large Spruce trees that cover the land stand with strong branches and are covered with magnificent green needles. These needles collect water vapor from the air, thus offering water droplets onto the ground. This natural process provides a vibrant and lush natural habitat. The Cloud is an intentional space where those on the land are invited to become mindful and connect not only with the land, but with themselves.

Weekend Trip to Zen Garden Sanctuary Spa

These guys put the hip in #hipcamp. Jim was a wonderful and engaging host. We stayed in the caboose and the highlights were hanging out with the host and his friends, the sauna, and hot tub. If you are bringing kids maybe check with the host or Eric on the vibe before coming. It is a beautiful property and you can tell Jim has put a lot of thought, effort, and himself in the place. We hope to return, go Hoosiers!

From the drive down the gravel road, the intentionality of function and sustainability, the rooted in place of understated quiet design is delicious. Sunrise Cabin's territorial view of this small valley, seen through the glass doors opening to the deck has a spaciousness that soothes. We Had everything we needed, beds were comfortable, bathhouse was spotless and had good towels and it is very quiet at night. Property is beautiful. will definitely return to explore the area more, one night was not enough.

Super nice spot. The showers were actually nicer than my one at home and the flush toilet at the barn was key for my city kids. Quiet and beautiful. It is pretty far to get to groceries/cell phone signal/etc. but it seems more like a feature than a bug. I booked at the last minute and appreciated the clear directions and communication with the host. Would definitely go back!

My two friends and I booked the tiny house Caboose and had a wonderful time. We enjoyed cooling off in the soaking pool after going on a hike nearby. In the morning on our last day, we had a lovely soak in the hot tub before packing up. The Caboose has a covered patio with a futon and chairs that was perfect for eating meals, playing games and just relaxing. We look forward to staying again and would opt for the tiny home Caboose again for future visits.

Weekend Trip to Yale Creek Ranch

The Bird's nest was adorable and had a great positioning for sunrise and moonrise! We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the night with the serenade of frogs from the pond. In the morning the bird song is the best to wake up to! There are only 2 actually shades on the building so if you are like me you will wake with the sunrise. But, also, the big windows allow for moonlight to spill in and the ability to stargaze. It was hot during our stay and Tyson provided us with a fan and a suggestion of where to go to cool off during the heat of the day. The cabin does have dishes and an electric kettle. We definitely packed thinking it might be a bit more rustic than it was. And there were butterflies everywhere! I think it would also be a neat place to stay in cooler months as well. My friend struggled a bit in her vehicle with the steep sandyness of the road but was able to park below and walk up.

I wish we had stayed here longer! This site was so clean and comfortable. Our host made it really easy to find the cabin. The cabin itself was equipped with everything needed to craft an unforgettable stay. The site felt very private but connected to amenities needed for a true “glamping” experience. Our pup had a great time running around in nature with Ursa! We hope to come back soon. I would definitely recommend this site to all.

I was having a very tough week, in the Portland area for work. Convinced myself to spend a little money on myself and take a couple much needed days to just exist. From the moment I walked down the drive and saw margaux’s string lights my heart warmed and I felt like I was arriving safely home. Which as a nomad, is not something I say a lot. The photos and amenities were on point, the hot water piping to take a lil camp shower to warm your bones or the hot tub, and it was close to anything you might need, even walking distance. Kayla and the whole fam were kind and easy to chat with, but there was plenty of quiet time. If you’re an animal lover, the pups and even kitty were really part of the lovely experience of being out in the cute backyard as well. A lot of love has gone into Margaux and you can feel it! I plan to return again soon. Gratitude to Kayla for creating such a lovely space and sharing it!
