GeerCrest Farm was settled by the Geer family in 1848, and is still owned and stewarded by the family. The house Ralph and Mary Geer built in 1851 stands and is one of the oldest in Oregon to remain in the same family.
The farm features creeks, forests, pastures, orchards and gardens as well as the historic buildings. Currently we have four friendly sheep and a small flock of Mallard ducks to keep us company. The scenery from all corners of the farm is incredible - a favorite is the westward view of the valley pasture at sunset -- called "Homer's View" after famous political cartoonist and Geer descendant, Homer Davenport. No matter which camping site you choose, the sounds of the creek, pond frogs, or conversing owls are sure to lull you to sleep.
Feel free to roam the farm, but always leave gates as you find them, open or closed. Please say hello to our sheep and barn cats (they may say hello first). Explore the Heritage Grove of historic trees, the Memorial apple orchard and pear glade with varieties circa 1840s, indulge your senses in our medicinal herb garden, and chat with our farm family while they water the veggie gardens, if you so wish! Your experience will certainly be unique to the season.

- This is a regenerative farm, just starting. Last season I focused on chickens- for flocks (egg layers for backyard chickens) and freezers (meat birds- available for your camp dinner). Some cows and sheep roam the front pasture and my goal is to grow their numbers to be able to improve the soil health here at the farm.
-My tiny home is in the area of the sites, but far enough away to maintain privacy. Otherwise it is a private and secluded area. Because I live on site, I will not allow repeat visits if groups become rowdy or disrespectful.
-There is ELECTRICITY and WATER on site for 1 RV. The electricity is through a standard household outlet so an adaptor will be necessary, and possibly an extension cord, depending on where you choose to set up. An outhouse with a composting TOILET and sink are available, but no shower. However, in winter months, the sink will be turned off to protect pipes. Water is still available from an in ground frost free spigot.
-There is a FIREPIT for evening musing, don't forget your marshmallows. Firewood is available on site for $10/night with an unlimited supply (or free if you want to gather downed limbs).
- There is an old hay wagon converted into a covered picnic area that I call the COWZEBO for use in bad weather. Enjoy a meal here with a great view of the river.
- FRIENDLY DOGS are welcome. Know that my dogs also hang out here. If your dog is aggressive or timid, please consider other accommodations.

Jsm Ranch started in 2004 when we moved from Oregon City.
This once was a working farm with two chicken barns and a meat locker barn. All had been fallen into disrepair before taking owner ship.
In 2007 we planted 200 trees and 100 shrubs to build a new fish and wildlife habitat along Woodcock Creek. We then focused on building fence along the Molalla River to protect water quality.
From there, we started raising Black Angus in 2008 after spending four years cleaning up the fields to make it safe for animals. We strive to be good stewards with our land as we continue to work with Clackamas Soil and Water to make better working lands.

Tabitha has created a truly special place to find solitude, peace, and enjoy nature! We will be regulars here, she made us feel incredibly welcome. The fire pit is huge and has a grate for grilling. The toilet is accessible (with a ramp), clean, and has the best view for doing your business. The view from anywhere in the campsite is amazing, be sure to wake up for sunrise! Don’t leave without grabbing some fresh eggs and saying high to the local foxes and turkeys.

This place was wonderful! The camp host, James, gave detailed instructions and everything was as expected. We had a lovely view of the river with our own private path, and the site itself was perfectly set up for a tucked away tent spot, and there was a picnic table and fire pit. The Port-a-Potties were super clean and nearby. We were greeted and warmly welcomed and felt very comfortable at the campsite. I loved the cows being around the fact that it is a working farm. We liked it so much that we are considering it for our upcoming wedding venue. Highly recommend!

Molalla Ripple is a great place to camp. The group of us are seasoned tent campers and this place had it all; the cleanest porta-johns, a shower, gorgeous scenery, easy access to the river, clean and level campsites, community deck with actual sink.
Please note that there are rules and fees for breaking them, but once you get there you absolutely see why. Jim and his family take absolute pride in offering an awesome, safe, comfortable place for campers.
This is a working farm and the owners obviously take care of their 25 acres with passion and love. I hope when you go visit you will enjoy it as much as we did.

This is our absolute favorite place to camp. It’s so beautiful and excluded. The hot tub add on is a must! The host is so lovely and responsive. We will be back again and again!

Easy spot to stay!! It’s got a picnic table a fire pit and 30 amp power! The host are really nice and welcoming I would stay again I have a pickup and 15 foot travel trailer it was an easy fit

Can't find information about my Hipcamp reservation or receipt so I can't really write a review. No idea how much I was charged. Hipcamp is a lousy company in this respect.
Connie and her husband were nice - we didn't interact much as I had all I needed. Oh, internet worked well, which is a rarity at camp sites.
Site was fine (I don't know which one, again Hipcamp website) - porta potty close by 30 amp electric, water spigot. I needed 120 V which they cold provide but I found my converter. Quiet, slept well. Close to Silverton, 8 miles, quick 12 minutes for coffee. I belong to AnyTime fitness so I could shower. Also YMCA in town.

The campsite was serene, clean, and comfy! James greeted us shortly after we parked and he couldn’t have been a nicer person. A nice picnic bench was available at each site along with a well-maintained portapotty. Each site was right on the river and it made for a beautiful afternoon/evening and a perhaps even more gorgeous morning to wake up to. Terrific place and so glad we found it! Thank you, James!

Molllala Ripple 1 is a clean, quaint campsite. There is such a variety of birds to observe and enjoy. We go to see the cows on our way out. We’d definitely come again!

Beautiful land and views over the ranch. It was a very peaceful setting. We stayed one night and was close to Silver Falls State park which was our destination the next day. It was nice to have access to a flush toilet and running water/sink. The bathroom is in the barn, so probably not ideal for someone with allergies.

This place is by far the quietest and the most private place I have stayed yet !! I had to work while I stayed here and deer and turkey’s greeted you every morning and every night ! The view is awesome! Tabitha the host is awesome and is clearly trying to make this place into something special!!
