This property:
Cozy lakeside cottage that sleeps two, with level lawn space nearby that will fit two additional tents in your group. Dedicated private space is in lower level backyard with access to dock* (*May -September), lake and wildlife wetlands with boardwalk. You'll see the setting sun from the end of the dock and have access to a paver patio firepit. Private 3/4 bath and comfortable TV room is 60 steps away in the house. Mostly private spaces with some shared spaces such as driveway, hallways, sometimes we cross paths in the yard. Mystic Lake Casino, Canterbury Downs, renaissance fest, Valleyfair, & many other area lakes besides the 600 acre all sports lake that the property is located on are in the immediate area. For location purposes, we are located 3.7 miles of the Prior Lake, MN McDonald's.
The basic price of $80 per night includes up to two campers inside or outside of the cottage, but up to two additional campers and tents can be added to the reservation for $20 per person/ per night. A limit of two persons inside of the cottage and four persons total are allowed per reservation. All persons must be declared ahead of reserving the space and ID’d for insurance purposes. Please note that all persons on the reservation must submit a copy of their valid picture government ID to the host (via platform) prior to arrival (but after booking), and sign a property liability waiver upon check in. The host will discuss the procedure with you as HC supports pictures only after booking. Please ask prior to booking if you have any questions about this- this is a requirement of our short term rental insurance, and part of our self check in procedure.

5 nights at Cozy Lakeside Cottage Guestroom
This was exactly what I was looking for. The property (and expected experience) is accurately described.
The property, including the cottage/camping area is bordered by trees and brush on two sides and the lake (with a dense growth of cattails) on the third.
Even though cottage/camping area is technically a spacious "backyard" I did feel like I was camping. The "cottage" is pretty much the size of an Expedition tent.
I stayed for five nights. I precooked my meals and home intending to heat them over the fire but ended using the microwave instead.
For this time year (late October) this is good option. If the weather gets nasty (too cold or even snow) the "cottage" is a wonderful backup.

What a great place to unplug from electronics. The animals were so cute and peaceful. Travis was very accommodating and answered any questions we had. Many acres to roam, weather was amazing as was our site that we had. Many to choose from. Goats were so funny and donkeys were cute and sweet, we wanted to take one home. My one pup thought she was a baby goat I think, she fit right in their pen and hung out several times. Brought home some farm fresh eggs and hamburger for a very inexpensive price. Thank you Travis! We enjoyed our relaxing weekend on your farm.

A beautiful spot to camp near Mankato. There are a choice of spots to park and since we needed electric we used the concrete pad near the barn. Owners are super friendly and they have a super cute cow! One thing to take note of is if you need to park on the pad, the black flies are pretty annoying during the day. However, they do not bite and we put out fly strips and some spray and it helped immensely. But we were gone most of the time during the day and they died down in the early evening like someone turned off the switch. Perfect campfire location next to the lake too! A really solid spot for a base camp to explore the area - we shopped at cute stores in ‘Kato and hiked around Minneopa as well as attending the Cake concert at the amphitheatre in town. A great weekend - thanks so much!

Easy to find, peaceful and relaxing! Host wasn't home so we did not meet personally, but he was quick to respond to our questions. We enjoyed having room to set up our bathroom tent and badminton while still have plenty of space. The dock/canoe werent available, but we enjoyed floating on our tubes, and caught fish off shore. Loved being able to walk up and interact with the cow! Town was a short drive to get what we needed. We didn't walk the trails, so no comment on them. It felt like our own little escape even though there were others there( they seemed to stay in their units, hopefully not because we were out and about) only downside was only having one fire pit/swing on the lakeside where two of us were set up, we didn't want to be distracting to others, yet wanted to utilize them, so when noone else was using it we did and just closed down early in case they wanted to after.

The property is pretty much open prairie land. I saw so many different types of birds to include eagles, water fowl, (didn't hear any loons but doesn't mean there aren't any) saw a few wildlife (deer, turkey, ground hog, a couple meadow voles. ) Andrew has a farm and there are a few horses and some very friendly goats, and super friendly dog. Andrew always answered my questions and was available if I needed anything. The farm is down a long dirt road which makes the stay very peaceful, quiet, and relaxing. Thanks Andrew for a great stay! I would stay again.
