Daniel is a Star Host
Star Hosts are highly rated, responsive, and committed to providing incredible experiences.
The River Farm once owned by Ulysses S. Grant and purchased from former Speaker of the House Rod Searle who held the Governor's Deer Camp here and congressional parties while in office on a private conservation park nicknamed the Jewel of Waseca County because of it's scenic overlook of the LeSueur River Valley, rolling hillside and diverse topography. Remote valley offers peace and quite with the exception of a few coyotes calls some nights. Your pet dog is allowed at site 1 and please check with us about having a dog at site 3. Thanks

Site 1 The Pines
Secluded site and gracious host
Daniel was a great host, and his property was amazing. Very secluded, and private. I only wish we’d left ourselves enough time to enjoy all of the activities he has available. Highly recommend!

NRPines Camper at River Farm
Loved it.
Serious bang for your buck here! (We stayed in the RV for rent, very reasonably priced!) The prairie and views were gorgeous, Dan was the perfect host - welcoming, helpful and attentive to any messages or requests, and gave us our privacy the rest of the time - and it felt like our own corner of the world on the edge of nature, nice and private (with the main home just across the big yard, with some trees in between). Felt like there were things to do that we didn't take advantage of because we were there for the peace and tranquility - seems like there's something for everyone here :-)

Site 1 The Pines
Better than a state park campground
We had a great time at this campsite. Everything was clean and organized. Dan is a really good host. We went to two state parks that are close by and we saw bison!

NRPines Camper at River Farm
Dan and Jane are very friendly and helpful hosts. They spent as much time with us as we wanted showing us around their lovely property and telling us about the area interests. We had both of our grandsons there and they had fun using the paddle boat around the pond, playing bag board and feeding the horse clover. We stayed in the camper which was well equipped and very clean. We had plenty of firewood for fun and cooking and a nice gas grill. It’s a very pretty, private and safe place to camp.

Site 2 The Pond
The site was beautiful. We really enjoyed going out on the paddle boat on the pond. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Also we lived interacting with the horse. Would definitely go back.
