Patrick’s point is a very laid back place to RV and tent camp with many options of stay. We were able to book next to the river. We enjoyed fishing and hiking in the area and would have loved to do some kayaking if the weather would have permitted. Maybe next trip 😊👍

We had a good experience camping at Old Stump. The road was definitely a little nerve racking, but Amber had warned us about it and our minivan did fine getting there. Extra signs would be helpful, especially to help figure out the camp sites, but the spot by the river itself was lovely.

Beautiful place with a great view! Spent a lot of time swimming and fishing in the river! Enough space to play football, pickleball, tag, etc with our big family. Land is maintained very well, porta potty clean with a nice hand washing station right next to it. Will be back!

We loved tent camping right on the river. The shade trees kept us cool and shaded even for July camping. Bathrooms were clean and kept stocked. Patrick and Angelica go out of their way to make sure all is good. We will def be back!

What a great spot! Truly feels like a hidden gem. We had a wonderful stay for two nights. Kathy and her husband were so friendly and helpful offering check-ins but leaving us to ourselves the rest of the time. Our boys (5 and 3) LOVED our camp site next to the creek. We caught frogs, fish and crawdads and every bug you could think of! We had deer walk through the camp site and saw mice, chipmunks, and all sorts of birds which was heaven for my two outside kids. Bonus - great fireworks for July 4th right next to the river! We will definitely be back!

For starters the host were fantastic. Angelica and Mr Patrick are good folks, friendly and very attentive to there guest needs. The campground is beautiful and has great facilities. You can certainly see that they have poured there heart & soul into making this place special. We had a blast on the 14 mile paddle trip down the river to Cumberland Falls State Park and the beautiful waterfall down the road. There are several fantastic little cabins to stay in or tent camp. I would definitely recommend Patrick's Point River Camp to anyone visiting the area. We will be back again. Thank you for the hospitality and God bless.

Weekend Trip to Clayton Geneva Memorial Camp Ground

I always love camping at Amber's. They make everything easy. It is so beautiful and peaceful. The river is beautiful and easy to wade, float, and kayak. Camp is close to so many waterfalls and Laurel River lake is gorgeous.

This was our first HipCamp experience and we had a great weekend! The themed trailers were very cute and it was so nice to have a/c during the hot summer but still feel like your camping. The location was perfect for exploring the area, and the hosts are cool VW people so we felt right at home.

Me and my wife enjoy tent camping. The host Amber went out of her way to accommodated us when the landing directly on the river, which we chose, had taken on rain for days and muddy. So the great host she was repositioned our site on a higher, dryer site. The host was available for all requests. The site was peaceful and just what we wanted. We will return. Thanks

Our hipcampers are what made The Slab such an amazing place, and we are truly sorry that things didn't work out to where we could stay open. We offer camping ranging from primitive tent sites, to an actual cabin. Hikers, kayakers, canoes, Horses and riders welcome, located a couple miles from Daniel Boone National Forrest, seemingly endless trails through some of the most beautiful country. Bring your canoe and kayaks. Located 16 miles from Cumberland Falls State Park. Located 11 miles from Sheltowee Trade Adventure Park. Located 11 miles from Kentucky Splash Water Park. 11 miles from The Mint Casino!! Clayton Geneva Camp Ground began as a retreat for our family since the 70's. My grandparents, Donald Clayton Russell & Jewel Geneva (Davis) Russell, purchased this little piece of heaven to get away from the hustle and bustle of Cincinnati life. Judy was born in a little cabin just down the road. Judy & Don along with many family members have made cherished memories here over the years. We want to share its beauty with you and your family. Please consider, Clayton Geneva is a primitive campground, gravel drives and left as natural as possible. This is not a sculpted campsite or a concrete campground. The primitive area is as such, gravel, grass, sand terrain accessible by a one lane gravel drive that leads over the hill and around the cliff to the riverbank. This drive is absolutely passable however is left bumpy to keep traffic at a safe speed as pedestrians also walk the drive. It is passable by any vehicle as long as the vehicle is not overloaded beyond its ability and/or has an extremely low profile. Any area that is not an actual campsite is left to nature, not manicured, trimmed or sculpted. As you’ll find all the sites are clear please don’t expect micromanaging of wild growth of our native plants in areas around the sites as we reserve those areas for the wildlife to enjoy. Please consider all the above mentioned details, primitive campsites are not for everyone and that’s ok.

The Harrican Lakehouse

Possum Ridge Ranch

Our remote 375 acres part farm and part natural woodland nestled up to Daniel Boone Forest is ideal for hikers and nature lovers. There are several hiking trails onsite and plenty of woods to explore. ATVs or side by sides are welcome to be used on the main gravel roads and some designated areas of our property. There is plenty of wildlife around but no hunting is allowed. Our designated tent sites do have firepits and picnic tables. Our trek in sites do not have those options. Pets are welcome for $10 per pet/per booking and they do need to be leashed/under control at all times. This is an extra so please be sure to add that if you plan to bring your pet. Please pick up after them. We are a short driving distance from West Liberty, Cave Run Lake, Grayson Lake, Carter Caves, Morehead, Natural Bridge and Red River Gorge. We are approximately 20 minutes from the nearest store so you'll want to come prepared. We are located in West Liberty (Morgan County). There is a centrally located bathhouse with toilet, shower and sink and a hose for potable water. We have firewood for sale for $15 per bundle and is an extra option when booking(use what you need during your stay and it is located at the tent sites), you can bring your own and you are welcome to gather from the surrounding area but please do not cut down any living trees/limbs.

HomeGrown HideAways is a farm, lodging, and event facility nestled in a hundred-acre holler in the Appalachian foothills near Berea, Ky. Our lodging features treehouses, yurts, a bunkhouse, retro camper, water/electric hook-ups, and campsites. We also host weddings, retreats, and other events so advance reservations are required. For insurance purposes and the safety of our own livestock and pets, we do not allow guests to bring their pets/ESAs onto the property. Prepare to UNPLUG as we do not have cell service or wifi (there IS a landline for guests to make phone calls located in the Community Farmhouse). All guests from tent to treehouse have access to our solar-powered Community Farmhouse featuring a fully-stocked chef-inspired kitchen, restrooms, coin-op laundry, and upstairs multi-purpose room with a library and board games. There is also an outdoor kitchen area with additional cooking space including a grill, microwave, and sink (sink is closed in the winter so the pipes don’t freeze). Next to the Farmhouse is a massive pavilion with picnic tables for al fresco dining and firewood bundles to purchase. BRING CASH! Our seasonal bath house is generally open from April or May to October or November based on the prevailing temps. There are 4 flush toilets, 2 sinks, and 2 hot showers. The floors are concrete so we recommend shower shoes and you'll want to bring your own towels and shampoo/soap. The farm has a small playground, yard games, creeks, and a steep and rugged hiking trail that loops the mountain. We're also just 8 miles from the hiking trails at the Berea College Pinnacles, 8 miles to Owsley Fork Reservoir, 20 minutes to Anglin Falls, 12 miles to Berea, 35 minutes to Richmond, Ky, and a scenic hour to Red River Gorge. For other activities, restaurants, shopping, music, and more, we're happy to share our favorites, but highly recommend checking out the Berea Tourism website.
