Beautiful valley on the Ohio River with 300 feet of beach front, private boat dock, covered 20x30 community pavilion and a large fire pit. A beautiful creek to explore, very secluded and off the beaten path with lots of wildlife to enjoy. Hidden Valley River Camp

Escape the city!

Amazing camp site off the beaten path. Sits along the Ohio River with amazing access to the water. Seclude with only nature and the sound of barges a few times a day. About 50 minutes from downtown Louisville allowed for time in the city and the escape back to nature with no distractions. Had good cell phone service, courtesy power outlet and dusk to dawn light available. Dry firewood for purchase onsite. Great for tent camping, fishing, and just enjoying the outdoors! Hosts are amazing and responsive. Will visit again!

Hidden Valley River Camp

Kathy’s husband came out to meet us even when we arrived late in the evening, and took the time to show us around. Greatly appreciated! The campsite was great, on a lovely spot on the Ohio River. The Port-a-potty was very clean, and the pavilion was a comfortable spot to eat our dinner.

Perfect Fourth of July Trip!

My two sisters and I plus our spouses camped at Hidden Valley for two nights on the 4th of July! We had so much fun, such a beautiful view, and such great hospitality! Scott and Sam rode around on the golf cart and made sure to ask us if there was anything we needed, told us to be in no rush checking out, and invited us to their bonfire! The porta potty was very clean and well maintained, the dock near the water was perfect to sit, lay, or swim near, and the flat land was extremely easy to camp on! While there, we got to enjoy the neighbor’s awesome firework show, grilled out, swam in the water with our three pups and floated on tubes, and played many cornhole tournaments. The gravel road was a little steep but nothing our truck or Camry couldn’t handle. We even got rained on pretty bad one morning but once it passed, there was plenty of sun to still dry everything off but be shaded by the trees near us in the hot July weather. There was even an outlet on the lamp Post at our site which allowed for extra electricity for fans, charging, etc. So glad we found this spot to try out, and we can’t wait to come back to camp again!

Hidden Valley River Camp

Amazing Sunset!

Fantastic place to camp! My family and I enjoyed a night here on our road trip to the Smokies. The directions were great. Property is very well maintained. Scott greeted us and made my six yr old’s day by giving her a ride in the golf cart! There was firewood for purchase. We set up camp overlooking the river. The sunset was amazing and splashing around in the water was great after a hot day. The bathroom set up was nice and clean. Heads up for anyone who is a light sleeper, there were a few loud transport barges that went past throughout the night. I would definitely camp here again!

Hidden Valley River Camp

Truly a Gem.

We LOVED our experience here. The site was beautiful and the four tent sites were well-dispersed. We sat in the river and walked the creek. The hosts were kind, gregarious, and hospitable. We felt welcome on their property and they went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. They hosted a lovely community bonfire. There was zero pressure to attend, but I'm glad we did. We enjoyed exchanging stories and left feeling like we made friends. The site was perfect and the land level. The outhouse was clean and well-stocked. Each site had sunny and shaded areas. It's not near very many things, so it was a great escape into nature. We're already figuring out when we can come back.
