Our campsite was absolutely beautiful and perfect in every way!!! It was so clean, extremely well kept, and very private!!! His directions were right on!!! We went to Kentucky to get baptized at Meet Me in the Water revival and our campsite was from heaven. Thank you in every way!!! 🙏🏻💕😊

Bart was great from the get-go! The directions to the property were perfect, and everything was just as described.
We had the site overlooking the valley, surrounded by beautiful wildflowers that seemed to attract every butterfly in the area. The outdoor kitchen was a great bonus, and the cold shower felt absolutely amazing in the heat!
We took a walk up the trail for a bit, but next time I’ll definitely plan to go the whole way when the weather is a little cooler.
The highlight each night, though, was the sky. It felt like having our own personal planetarium — so many stars were visible, and the views were incredible.
We really appreciated being able to spend our weekend here. Such a peaceful, beautiful spot, and we’ll definitely be back!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay! The camp sites were incredibly neat, clean, and well-kept. The location is peaceful and beautiful, making it the perfect outdoor getaway. I loved using the outdoor kitchen, and both the shower and compost toilet facilities were spotless and well-designed, the trail behind the cabin is awesome.To top it all off Bart, was amazing—he was incredibly kind, welcoming, responsive, and professional from start to finish. We highly recommend this spot!"

I love camping out at Camp Middle Fork, it’s my third time and the camp grounds are so beautiful. Bart keeps chopped wood for guests, he also has a very nice trail and outhouse. You can see the stars and the moon beautifully.

To be honest, when I first saw the area, I was a little bit skeptical. But let me say, it was worth every last penny to stay there. The campsite was very well maintained and Bart even left a few sticks of firewood for me to use. I had no trouble with any critters or disturbances at the campsite. Behind the cabin leads a steep trail that can be a little bit of a challenge to hike up if you have a heavy load, so I would advise taking as little up as you can. The trails up are very well labeled and there are even ropes to help you reach the top. If you do make it up to the top of the mountain, you are greeted with very well maintained trails and a beautiful view of the forest around you. I would advise going up around sunset as it really captures the beauty of the forest. You can travel for a while on the trails, seeing all the wildlife and plants around you, even when its dark--though I wouldn't recommend staying out too long. I had a great time and even when my car battery died, Bart remained very respondent and helpful. If you are looking for a good place to camp while in Kentucky to see Daniel Boone forest or Red River Gorge, I can't recommend a better place than Bart's!
The view is pretty spectacular. We went biking crossing the small creeks and enjoyed the serenity of the place. It was such a beautiful place and we had a starry night. We saw a couple of shooting stars as we lay on a mat stargazing. It was a scene from a show. The hosts were very kind and generous. Bart and his wife provided everything we could have needed in the camping and showed us all the different fun things to check out. Nothing will beat their hospitality. They have a yoga deck and a very cool bathroom and outdoor shower. The owners and their children are clearly nature enthusiasts themselves. What made our experience even more amazing was hearing the coyotes howling in the middle of the night.

Bart is as exceptional host. Quick to respond and proactive with information. The location is quiet and peaceful. We didn't get to do much exploring due to upcoming weather but the camp sites are nice and flat. <20 minutes from Irvine. We enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to visiting again. Highly recommend this hipcap.

Barts place was very quiet(we stayed at the site to the right if facing the A-Frame) , hiking was awesome on property! Highly recommend. Could use vechicle or tent to camp at all 3 spots!

I arrived after dark but Barts directions got me right to the property no problem! I woke up to a beautiful view. It was so nice to walk around, let my pup run and enjoy the peace before hitting the road again. Bart stopped by and was such a delight to chat with. Thanks for sharing your slice of paradise Bart!
Went back for the second time—loved Barts place! My husband and I were the only ones on site and it was very comfortable and accommodating both times

We enjoyed staying at Camp Middle Fork. It was peaceful and relaxing. Bart was super nice and met us upon arrival to show us around. I messaged to ask questions before we booked and he was very quick to respond. We asked for the furthest spot and he made sure there was fire wood already by the pit. There was some cut and stacked that we were able to grab anytime as well. The outhouse was clean and smelled of cedar. We stayed mostly at our site but the outdoor kitchen wasn’t far if we needed it.

Bart and his family have a nice set up in the hills of Irvine. Me and my kids enjoyed hiking the trails and walking through the creek. It was a peaceful get away. As other reviewers mention, there’s poison ivy around the trails as there is in much of Kentucky, so just be mindful of where you walk.

I loved staying there! It is a bit confusing getting to the campsite, but I called Bart and he immediately came down to help me find it. Bart and his wife are insanely kind! It's a cute little land with a compostable outhouse which I loved. I highly recommend!

Hosts are incredibly friendly as were the other campers staying on their property at the time we went. Beautifully maintained with gorgeous views. Even the outhouse was beautiful 😅. Loved being able to hear the stream nearby throughout the night. Would absolutely recommend!
The sites were clean, well kept, and beautiful. The host was very nice, as was his family. This is a cozy little campground (3 spots), perfect for family camping or solo camping.

Beautiful property! We had to walk our stuff up when we arrived due to the rain the night before, but on our walk there were SO MANy butterflies; it was magical. There was plenty of space to set up tents and the running water and outdoor kitchen space was a huge plus. I hiked the stairs up into the woods, there were plenty of places to explore. Fair warning—there was poison ivy throughout the paths so if you don’t know what it looks like, familiarize yourself.
Great area with lots to do. There was a mushroom festival in town with a car and rock show, live music etc. The host was amazing, helped with information on hiking trails and things to do in the area. Hiking trails right behind camp, and a stream very close for the kids to play and discover new things in. Our boys had a really fun time on their first camping trip! If you haven’t already, give this place a visit.
