There is a lot of history in this land. It's been in my family for over a hundred years. They worked the land with their hands and so have I. It's a special place. Come see for your yourself and be our guest at The Harrican! Learn more about this land: Unplug and unwind at this two story cabin built right on the water in the heart of the Kentucky Wildlands! Even though there is complete peaceful seclusion it does get a little noisy when the bullfrogs start their evening ritual. There is a dock and pier perfect for fishing or swimming. Firepit, grill with gas provided, two boats, fishing poles, lots of seating on the wrap around porch, two bedrooms; one with a queen bed and the other with two twin beds and just lots of natural beauty and peace! The BIG update everyone has been waiting for; the plumbing and electricity are now complete! We have all the ammenities to make your stay comfoetable and relaxing! Yes Please! Sign me up! Found this available for one night and grabbed it! So happy I did! This place is absolutely amazing! Great place to unwind, relax and enjoy the beauty this place brings. Myself and my two children 11 yrs old stayed here. Son went kayaking while daughter and I used our paddle boards on the lake. The wrap around porch was perfect in every aspect. It allowed room for everyone and all of our gear. I wish I could have shared this experience with more people! Bridgett was an amazing host and very welcoming! We will be back!

Beautiful site!
We had a great girls weekend at this site! The host was very kind and we felt safe. It was very peaceful and secluded and the pond was absolutely beautiful. AC was a welcome surprise. Definitely bring drinking water and bird guide with you!

Wonderful Country Gem!
We had a wonderful time at the Harrican House. The land is beautiful, secluded, and so relaxing. The house is so cozy and welcoming. Stocked with all the utensils needed for cooking. The kids had an absolute blast fishing, swimming, and hunting for frogs. Bridgette is so kind and very responsive to messages. The week went by so fast and we were all sad to leave. I cannot wait to visit again.
