🏖️ Ten minute drive from St-Armands Circle and Lido Beach; 20-25 minute drive from Siesta Key Beach.
The Bayou goes all the way out to the Gulf - we see large schools of mullet here, occasionally turtles, hawks, and herons. If you are lucky, you might see a manatee or an otter!
We have a 36” campfire pit you are welcome to use. We are still working on getting seating for the campfire pit, but if you have camping chairs, it’s perfect!
We have an amazing location to share AND we also have neighbors to the left, and across the creek. We value and respect them. We wish to share our space with quiet and mindful campers.
The property is 0.5 acre. You will be parking in part of the yard, under the shade of one of the oaks, slightly tucked back away from the house. We can be available to help/welcome you, and offer local guidance if you like.
**A sweet but fearful rescue dog lives here and we are not allowing any other animals to camp or stay on the property.** NO DOGS WHATSOEVER. You will be made to leave if you violate this condition.
***Our acceptance rate is lower because people with dogs, 5 people in their party, or no onboard facility of their own submit booking requests, which we must decline.

My husband and I just stayed in the camp for one night, but it was great. We enjoyed the man’s made beach, it was quite and the water was pleasant. The receptionist was an angel, we ran out of drinking water and she give us some. Thank you for everything.

We stayed at Flitterbug Farm at the large 20 person site and it was absolutely perfect. Lots of space to spread out, multiple firepits, views overlooking the pond, a great outdoor shower and kitchen, filtered drinking water, compost toilet, and easily accessible firewood. The brewery and plenty of shops are nearby as well as some nice nature walks like CREWS Marsh Trail. Trina is the best and we plan to come back again!

We had a great stay at Jose and Eileen’s Hipcamp in Miami. They were incredibly warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived, which really set the tone for a relaxing visit. Jose went out of his way to suggest local restaurants and spots to check out, and his recommendations truly helped make our stay memorable. The whole experience felt easy and comfortable, and we’d definitely recommend staying here to anyone visiting the area.

A very nice campground very accessible to the local sites. Everything clean and tidy. We had a nice swim in the pool. There are nice family activities, clean facilities, laundry room at a reasonable price.
There's even a rec room with a pool table! Only negative, along with most other campgrounds, is poor wifi.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Highland Pines. The spot we chose was perfect for us. Close to the pool. Very easy to back into. Most of the campground is filled with permanent residents. The sites are small especially if you spend a lot of time at the campground but it worked for us. It is clean and well maintained. Temporary spots do not have cable. This spot was directly across from the pool. Scott was very attentive and responded immediately to answer our questions. We will probably stay there again when we go to see our son who lives in south Florida

Weekend Trip to Blue Fox Ranch: Lake & Farm Camp
Luiz was an excellent host! We stayed at Site 2 with full RV hookups and had a fantastic experience. The property is beautiful, and the animals around the ranch make it a peaceful and unique getaway. Luiz was very welcoming and great to talk with whenever we saw him around the property. He even took the time to show us different parts of the ranch and other camping spots.
Our group was also hog hunting at Chappy’s Outfitters, only about 3 miles away, which made the location perfect for going back and forth. Both experiences were great. We highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back!

Loved seeing all the animals out and about. When you’re sleeping you can hear them right outside your tent. Bathroom is nice. Lots of area to walk around and great trails nearby.

Nice shaded level spot with easy access from the road. Owner responded quickly to a same day request. Location is on a corner but yard is protected by tall bushes and traffic is minimal at night. I would stay here again.
