You will possibly see cows, bobcats, wild turkeys, wild pigs, armadillos, birds, or the neighbors dogs might show up. Don’t worry, they are quite friendly.
We have a 50 amp RV Hookup with NO septic and plenty of space for primitive camping.
Bring your horse, but there is no paddock or barn.
The storage building on the premises is not part of the rental, please leave it alone.
There is electricity and non-potable water. The water is safe for teeth brushing, washing dishes, and showering, but it does have a very strong smell of sulfur. There is an outhouse. Please use it sparingly & only flush toilet paper provided. There is an outside sink, an outside shower with no privacy, a picnic table and a fire pit. If you come with your RV, please use your RV toilet. There will be a major fine for any septic dumping.
1/3 of the land is cleared and 2/3 is full of mature oak trees and trails. It is fenced with barbed wire fencing.
Please keep your food trash in your cars & take it with you. You do not want to attract predators. You can recycle, or throw away any trash that is not related to food in the garbage can. Keep an eye on your small dogs. There are also snakes and predatory birds.

A small but unique piece of land that was given to a family in the 1920s by the Florida Railroad Company. It stayed in the family until we purchased it. It is unique because the surrounding area does not have much tree coverage. This is
due to the ground underneath, which is a vein of grey marl. This is why the area is called the Allapattah (an Indian word for Alligator) Flats.
We are hoping that our county stays the way it is so people will know what Old Florida really looks like.

World class deep sea fishing, boating, and some of the finest seafood restaurants on the east coast are less a mile away. We’re just 5 miles from downtown Stuart on the Inland waterway that offers a lovely walkable downtown where you will find a theater, unique art studios, interesting and unique craft and clothing shops, and numerous restaurants offering everything from vegan and vegetarian options, to pizza, steak, and local seafood. If you’re looking for fast food franchises in the downtown areas, you’ll need to look elsewhere!
Only 11 miles from Jonathan Dickinson State Park. Daily excursions are available from the launch site to the infamousTrapper Nelson’s hideaway. A must do for adventurous types who appreciate legends and creative off grid living.
ABOUT US:
This Camp Site is on a 1/2 acre, owner occupied property and located in a beautiful, open, quiet neighborhood setting. It offers a natural walking path (with some exposed tree roots) and several beautiful foot bridges around the lake. Our property has very easy accessibility to all major roads including interstate 95. This camp sites provide a peaceful stay while still being close to all you seek. This location makes for a great stop over or destination spot.
Guests will wake in the morning to the lovely site and peaceful sounds of the mostly year round residents including pileated and red-bellied woodpeckers, vultures, raccoons, egrets, ibis, hawks, quaker parrots, herons, bluejays, grackles, crows, lizards, mourning doves, otters, squirrels, owls, hawks, and occasional sightings of iguanas and turtles. If you’re looking to stay a few days there is plenty to do and see in the area. We are approximately 12 miles to Port Canaveral (Cruise Ships, restaurants, beaches). Close to Kennedy Space Center. Close the Cocoa Village where there are plenty of restaurants and bars as well as some neat shops. Plenty of areas to swim and fish are near by as well. Jetty Park, Cocoa Beach also about 30 minutes away. If your lucky enough to see a launch from the driveway, its a real treat. Or you can drive over to the edge of the Banana and Indian Rivers and park along the road.
PLEASE NOTE: We live on a one way street with no turn around, so its best to pull down the street and turn wide into the driveway and open the gate (If we have not opened it for you). Pull all the way to the end of the driveway (or up to our Montana) and back to the west where the site is located. This will put the utility side of your RV right up with the pedestal. This will put your camp side facing the house. Then when you leave just swing out the driveway and east down the street (Ideal for motorhomes and small to medium trailers)

Another great afternoon at the pavilion. Good food, good music, big fans that moved plenty of air, just good all the way around. It's amazing how they can turn muscadine grapes into a fantastic beverage.
Camping was perfect. Spots were wide, long, level and well mowed. Very easy to back into, even for a poor backer-upper like me. Plenty of pull-throughs for easy access, and hookups available. This is an EXTREMELY quiet place to camp, no busy roads nearby, heard nothing but a few frogs.
A beautiful camper's patio extends over the canal, perfect for fishing. I forgot to bring any fishing gear; next time . . .
I can see why this is listed as a #1 place to camp in so many places. Fantastic pavilion for bands or events, well-stocked and friendly winery, plenty of room for car shows and gatherings. A great weekend retreat . As Arnold Schwarzenegger said: "I'll be back!" But next time, with a fishing pole.

This is no joke real camping. Dont let being on someones property fool you. There is miles of land all around behind the gates of the property with real dangers if you google it. But they do have barbed wire on the fence so that helps. There was all types of sounds at night, cows, a hog, gator babies, what seemed to be a panther or bobcat but didnt see it. # daytime: eagles, Osprey, huge vultures. we were there alone ,no other campers, it was scary at night lol but it has the barn and the people live there so you are not completely unsafe. We had a gator pass the tent at 4am but just kept going, one sneaky raccoon, saw some possums. Kept honking my car alarm lol bring bright flashlights and protection ,it gets super dark no joke. Do not leave food out or car window open ,#7 secluded. If you never been camping in real nature this will definitely vet you. Beautiful place, felt safe even though you are on their property they give you your privacy. Extremely nice host. Horses are a little nibbly but all in all, awesome experience. Fridge is a plus, shower is nice and warm, port o potty was clean and stocked. Bugs are no joke, yellow jackets, spiders, etc ,but not that bad if you are a true camper. Cicadas pee nectar at night, i didnt put the cover on my tent they peed alot lol so yeah but they get quiet at night. Its nature, real deal florida. We loved it. But again. No joke real deal camping. Earn your stripes here. Bring protection.

This was my third time camping at Christine & Cal's. I was a bit skeptical booking for this time of year but my four nights there could not have been more perfect. Perhaps it was just luck but very few bugs and relatively cool nights. I was fortunate enough to have a pair of visiting cardinals everyday which is seen as a positive sign. Although you can hear some road noise from the highway the peacefulness and beauty here tend to block it out.

Wonderful place! No playground, but still soooo much for the kids to do! Swimming pool, fishing, perfect for riding bikes, riding scooters, passing the football, enjoying nature, just being outside! 10/10 recommend and bring a golf cart if you have one (they are also available to rent). The Cowboy Cajun food truck (DELICIOUS) and camp store were wonderful! They had a raffle for a local girls softball team going on at the pavilion too! We will definitely be back and will tell everyone about Camp Mack!
