Just a disclaimer; Sebring Raceway is 7 miles away and if the wind is right you can hear the cars racing, also, lake Istokpoga is big for airboats so we do hear them running some but they are usually quiet at night. We do love meeting our guests and are available for any questions that come up. Our primary purpose when developing this property was to create a safe space for children with special needs and their families. We are a no judgment zone and adhere to Hipcamp's inclusion policy.

The land and lake were beautiful and despite it being in a “neighborhood,” the camping space felt nice and private. Joe was very nice and made sure we were comfortable, and even let us borrow his canoe. Bring your own firewood, as it is difficult to come by in the area. During the day, the Lake Istokpoga was VERY loud, filled with airboats and all sorts of noise, though we did camp over Easter weekend and fortunately the boat noise subsided once the sun went down. Then the gators started snoring, which was entertaining, haha! All in all, a lovely stay!

The host is kind and does whatever he can to meet your needs with a smile on his face. The grounds are beautiful and each lot is spacious! State parks put one RV on top of the other! Here, you feel alone! The free roaming horses and bulls love to visit and are fun to have around. My dogs have so much space to run on or off leash! This is my favorite place to date! We have become regulars there! Peaceful place.

Well maintained grounds, Jaime is always doing something. Both Jaime and Bolton is super helpful if you should need any assistance. It is a wonderful layed back environment and so peaceful. Every evening we would get together on the patio and just chat. Totally enjoyed and can't wait to go back... My dog and I loved my site we had... Utility services were great!!!

We had such an incredible stay here it’s truly a hidden gem. The property is peaceful, quiet, and beautifully maintained, making it the perfect place to unplug and actually enjoy nature without distractions.
The host, April, was wonderful, welcoming, responsive, and clearly takes pride in what she does. Everything felt thoughtfully cared for.
This is very much a self service kind of place, which we loved. You are not going to have anyone breathing down your neck or constantly hovering or doing things for you. It gives you the space to settle in, slow down, and experience everything on your own terms.
If you’ve ever been to Peace River Campground, this is the complete opposite in the best way: the same natural beauty, but without the crowds or chaos. Just calm water, open space, and the sounds of nature.
They also offer canoes, kayaks, and a paddleboard for rent, which made it even better to explore and take everything in at your own pace.
If you’re looking for a quiet escape to reset and enjoy the outdoors as it should be, this is the place. We’ll absolutely be back.

Weekend Trip to JB Resort
The owners were awesome, very accommodating, the trailer we rented was great and I did not not my head on any doorways as I am 6'4" tall. The other guests were very friendly, welcoming and talkative as well. No cliques like some places have. We hardly stayed in the trailer s we were having so much fun out with the other guests. Highly recommend this place for a getaway and I will be back often.

Camp Mack is a beautiful Old Florida fish camp! Our site was amongst the live oaks, quiet an peaceful. Staff and facilities were wonderful. It was relaxing to site along the water and watch fishermen and airboats coming and going. The camp store has everything you need, restrooms and showers are well maintained, and everyone is friendly! We did not use the pool, but it was very nice with a clubhouse and restrooms and showers. The Freshwater Tavern is within walking distance with food and beverages, was nice, and there is a food truck on the premises. We would definitely stay again!

The property is beautiful. The other cabin was not occupied while I was there, so it was extremely quiet and peaceful - perfect for a relaxing getaway to unwind. The hospitality was great and Dennis was able to help me with anything I needed. I will definitely be returning.

We had a great visit with our camper at JB Resort. It was quiet and relaxing. The resort backs up to rows and rows of orange trees and during our stay in March you could smell the blossoms. Bolton greeted us when we arrived and helped get us set up. He included a list of local attractions and restaurants. There was a nice pool and hot tub. Our covered RV spot included a 50 amp hook up, fresh water and sewer. His communication was excellent and very responsive. JB resorts exceeded our exceptions so much that we booked an extra day and booked again for next year, can't ask for more than that. It's only been few days since our stay but we're already looking forward to our next.

I had an incredibly peaceful night at Robin’s land. I had the pick on sites. I MotoCamp so I picked a nice corner of the property amongst some hardwoods. I pitched my hammock and all was set. I was visiting by 5 Whitetail does and Robin’s horse Charity was sweet. Thanks for sharing your land Robin.

This hit our sweet spot. Site was comfortable, good size and you cannot beat full hook ups. had a nice view of the orange grove which was blooming so a sweet smell. The hosts dogs were great and came for visits and pets. Our first of many stays i expect.
