Weekend Trip to Park~like open setting w/lake view

Tent camping here was beautiful. The trees are beautiful pines which the owner took the care to save when the property was being built. The trees are very thankful for this energy and in kind or protecting the land. As a woman sleeping alone, I felt completely safe in my tent and this beautiful yard looking at the water. The hosts are so kind hearted. This is really a good place For spending time with nature while still in a city’s drive

Very nice and comfortable spot. Easy access to both the beach and river. Access to 3 pools was great especially the beach one. This is the first trip without any mosquito bites which is a WIN for me personally. No bugs, no noise. Just a relaxing weekend well spent. Dogs had a great time relaxing too. Anthony was a great host. We will definitely be back soon.

The host, Andreea, was very hospitable and also very responsive whenever we had a question. Was a nice spot with a beautiful yard and was convenient to our daughter’s gymnastics competition (reason for our trip this time) It was very comfortable.

This Hipcamp was just what we needed. A place to plug in and leave our rig for 2 nights. No issues maneuvering our fifth wheel into the spot and ground was pretty level. We also had no problem locating the electrical and water spout. All good!

Weekend Trip to Molly Farm

Molly's Farm was a great spot for our weekend getaway with our 3 pups! John and his dog Molly greeted us when we arrived and helped us get situated. The property is beautiful and the spot feels private. Molly is super friendly, unfortunately our pups are not dog friendly, so they were kind enough to notice when we were out and kept Molly inside. We definitely recommend Molly's Farm!!

We had the most amazing experience despite a thunderstorm that roll through. It was fun to watch the storm from our tent and wake up to amazing tropical view, and a super fun outdoor shower. The miniature ponies were just an added, we will return!

I loved camping at Christine & Cal’s property. It was just a quick overnight stop. I was the only one there for most of the time. The shower was a welcomed treat after tent set up. The little horses are so cute and very friendly. I was able to put my ice pack in the freezer. My back was very thankful for that. You can hear some road noise as some others noted. It was just kind of in the back ground. I’m used to hearing sirens, trains and cruise ship horns so it was not an issue for me. I was looking forward to seeing the stars but it was very cloudy. I’ll definitely be returning.

We went to our first camping site and it was an incredible experience. The noise from the highway is much less than the reviews say, it's super peaceful and our 2-year-old daughter really enjoyed it. The platforms for the tents help a lot. We loved and will definitely be back

While staying with us you can opt to take a guided food forest tour, as well as take the opportunity to help with or observe current projects going on at the farm. Our favorite things about this property are the amazing skies both at dawn and dusk, as well as night stargazing. We have great birdwatching as well. Please reach out at any time with questions or concerns. About the listing Our listing is for a campsite that accommodates tents or an RV or camper van up to 45ft. If you do bring a camper keep in mind our sites are pull in only with no hookups (dry camping) and they will require some leveling. Generators are also not allowed. Amenities listed below: -There is a shared fire pit available -There is potable water via a spigot -Good cell service for most carriers, no wifi -Shared composting toilet onsite -Pets are allowed -Wheelchair access is possible Additional details to note Please check in at least 2 hours before sunset so that you can can find the toilet and know where the sensitive growing areas are. It is difficult to find a location in Florida that is further removed from urban and suburban light pollution than Kissimmee Prairie Preserve State Park. Irrigation Ditch: There’s an irrigation ditch running through the middle of the campsite, so please be cautious when driving in. Be sure to stay to the right side to avoid any trouble. 2. Mosquito Tips: The mosquitoes can be pretty intense, so I recommend bringing a Thermacell or two and any other mosquito repellent you prefer. When I camped, I kept a Thermacell inside my tent, which worked great to keep them out. Outside, even with two tiki torches, a fire, and a Thermacell, they were still landing on me. A heavy-duty Thermacell might be your best bet. Long sleeves and pants also helped a lot! 3. Site Updates: There’s been some growth at the site since I first listed it on Hipcamp. The back area is still clear, but the middle front section needs mowing. Keep this in mind when setting up your campsite. Also bring firewood. Sometimes there is firewood at the gas stations off the turnpike but it is expensive. Also, there is a subway right off the turnpike if you’re in a crunch for a quick meal

A small but unique piece of land that was given to a family in the 1920s by the Florida Railroad Company. It stayed in the family until we purchased it. It is unique because the surrounding area does not have much tree coverage. This is due to the ground underneath, which is a vein of grey marl. This is why the area is called the Allapattah (an Indian word for Alligator) Flats. We are hoping that our county stays the way it is so people will know what Old Florida really looks like. Minutes from I-95, but surrounded by the Allapattah Flats Wildlife Management Preserve. Located on Martin Hwy, which was recently designated as a Florida Scenic Hwy. Fifteen minutes to Stuart and thirty minutes to West Palm Beach, a world away from the hustle and bustle. We realize that people also love Florida for Disney and tropical paradises but if that is what you want than this may not be your kind of place.

During certain times of the year and certain times of the day, there are a million bugs! We stay inside during these times. We are 25 minutes from Okeechobee City, the bass fishing capital of the world, 45 minutes to Fort Pierce, & 35 miles from Sebring International Raceway. The Kissimmee Prairie State Park is very close by. The prairie is the darkest part of Florida. Astronomers, bring your telescopes and cameras to capture the night. You will possibly see cows, bobcats, wild turkeys, wild pigs, armadillos, birds, or the neighbors dogs might show up. Don’t worry, they are quite friendly. We have a 50 amp RV Hookup with NO septic and plenty of space for primitive camping. Bring your horse, but there is no paddock or barn. The storage building on the premises is not part of the rental, please leave it alone. There is electricity and non-potable water. The water is safe for teeth brushing, washing dishes, and showering, but it does have a very strong smell of sulfur. There is an outhouse. Please use it sparingly & only flush toilet paper provided. There is an outside sink, an outside shower with no privacy, a picnic table and a fire pit. If you come with your RV, please use your RV toilet. There will be a major fine for any septic dumping. 1/3 of the land is cleared and 2/3 is full of mature oak trees and trails. It is fenced with barbed wire fencing. Please keep your food trash in your cars & take it with you. You do not want to attract predators. You can recycle, or throw away any trash that is not related to food in the garbage can. Keep an eye on your small dogs. There are also snakes and predatory birds. It is hard with words to describe the beauty of this property, so please check out the pictures. Happy Camping!

Our favorite place to grab breakfast, lunch, or dinner is Carter's Grocery, which is only 4 minutes from our property. ACTIVITIES: We have chickens that lay eggs and are great for eating so if you'd like some fresh eggs, feel free to go over to their house and grab some. We have a Pavillion with a fire pit that is welcomed to be used. Our dock provides a look out on our pond. Please feed the fish some food if you'd like. Also, take time to fish in our pond and catch some tilapia or blue gill. The kids have a blast fishing as the fish are easy to catch. THE SPACE: The site you'll be staying at is close to the owners house. There are 2 parking spots on asphalt that are available for the campers vehicles or park directly at your site. The ground will be grass that the camper will park on. Please note: we have 2 gates with gate codes that shut automatically. Please be sure each gate closes behind you! We have free roaming cattle and other farm animals outside the camping area. We are always open to recommendations on how we can make your stay even better! We cant wait to share our property with you and hopefully you'll find our place as somewhere you'd love to return!
