DO NOT flush feminine hygiene products, napkins or hand wipes or anything other than toilet paper. These type of things plug and burn up the pump while pumping out the tank. In 2021, we were featured in USA Todays Ten Best for star gazing! My property has 360 degree mountains views with the Sangre de Cristo Mountain Range as our back yard. Nearby you can find many different trail systems for all kinds of outdoor enthusiasts. From hiking to jeeping, ATV or dirt biking and equestrians - you can find it all! You will be surrounded by BLM land, BACA land, and Wildlife Refuge just two miles away. Fire danger is extremely high in this area. - Although we are only forty miles from the Sand Dunes park, it is a four hour drive to get there, so maybe not the best area to stay if the dunes are on your list. - Days in the summer can get pretty hot and shade is hard to come by, so plan a day trip to Florence river park, (about 30 minutes drive)and hop in the Arkansas river and cool off. - this is a wilderness area and all Colorado wildlife is present.

Welcome to MTNMN Ranch! We are only 9 Miles from Royal Gorge access and have a creek on the property. While staying with us you can enjoy horseback riding, hiking and fishing within 5 minutes from the site. Our property is always gated and secure. Our sites are best suited for RV or van campers and feature large and level parking areas. We also offer 110 electrical hookup with a maximum vehicle length of 50 ft. Potable water and trash bins are also available there are no direct hook ups for 30 am electric or potable water but we have water access just not a direct hook up.

Enjoy the privacy of this wonderful goat farm situated just northwest of the Overlook Campground in Buena Vista, Colorado. It sits at 8500 feet with spectacular views of the Collegiate Peaks, 10 minutes from downtown Main Street, countless hiking trails, and rafting companies! This property backs up to BLM and connects with the Midland bike trail system. This property is unique due to the close proximity to dairy goats, and the ability to tour the farm if you so choose. The camping spot is in a secluded area of the property with easy access parking, and away from the main house. There is a 6-person tent set up near an old loading shed with a queen sized cot, an available metal fire pit, wood, and plenty of space to spread out or pitch additional tents. Plenty of rock outcroppings surround the space to give you your own private retreat. Please note that our road does include passing our neighbor on your way up. Directional rock cairns lead the way to this fun space! Goat tours are available upon request. On occasion the goats free range on the property and may pass by this space. If you want to camp in privacy and enjoy the idea of staying near a working goat farm, with chickens, guinea fowl & a rooster you will likely hear, the ability to quickly get into BLM and hike the many trails then this is place for you!

We had a wonderful stay at this campsite! The location was absolutely beautiful — peaceful, scenic, and the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. The hosts were incredibly helpful, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The campsite was well maintained and had a warm, inviting atmosphere. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great camping experience.

We stayed 2 nights at this camp and I wish we could have stayed longer! The land is absolutely stunning and the mountain views are insane. Paul was so welcoming and gave us great recommendations of nearby things to do. Will definitely book again in the future!

This place was so beautiful. A hidden gem I like to call it. The host was very kind and greeted us upon arriving with a nice welcome and map for us. So many different types of camping options here. We walked by all of them and they were all well kept and overlooked the river. We didn’t want to leave.

It was such a beautiful spot next to the river. I love sleeping next to the sound of the babbling waters. There was also a fantastic log pile divider between our campsite and the next. This offered a fantastic amount of privacy. I would recommend this spot to anyone!

Salida RV is such a gem. We love this place so much, we're coming back for a month (or more) in the summer. We stayed in a spot right on the river, and it was so peaceful listening to the sound of the Arkansas River. The sites and clubhouse are super clean, and the park was very quiet.

Peaceful slice of heaven with accommodating and welcoming hosts. Amazing communication, flexible check in/out and escorted me right to the camp location. Mary Anne's muffins are out of this world delicious and the size of my head! If I'm in the area again, I will definitely stay with these hosts again and would highly recommend anyone to pay them a visit. It was exactly what I needed to start my 2026 camping season off. 7 nights at Sweetwater River Resort

It’s a beautiful place. Clean and well maintained by the wonderful people who own it. Listening to the river and geese was relaxing. Yes, the road is near and you hear the cars and trucks but it’s in a river canyon so we just ignored that and enjoyed ourselves. Good places to eat nearby (check out the MUG) and a good base camp location for anything in or around Colorado Springs. 10/10 will return.
