Very clean property. Great clean showers as well. Only downside is that the heated pool isn’t operable during their winter period and neither are the showers inside the campers. However, they were responsive via text when I had questions. I’ll come back when it’s not off season and additional amenities are available.

This was a great stop on my best friend reunion tour! We opted for a cabin and it was a cute, warm, clean and cozy little place. You don't have your own bathroom and have to walk to the common building for stalls and showers, but that was ok- it was clean and not too far away from the cabin. Be sure to peek in to the vintage "RV museum"- 3 restored RVs that are retro outfitted and fun to explore. The woman manning the check in/shop was super friendly and gave good recommendations for places in Cañon City, which is about 15 mins away. We were also pleased to be a short walk from the Gold Mine gem shop, full of beautiful things! In October the area is out of season, so it was pretty quiet, and we were happy with that! I would recommend Starlite for a welcoming glamping experience.

Our stay at Starlite Village was exceptional and we thoroughly enjoyed our 'I Dream of Jeannie' vintage camper. Dirk was great communicating with us before and during our stay. Got stuck in the Tiki Winnebago
Cadillac - Cottage
We did have a lot of fun and laughs staying here. When going to book the Cadillac cottage on hip camp, we got a message saying it wouldn’t be available and we could choose between 3 different other units to stay at. We asked to please reserve the Red Miracle airstream and that it looked super cute, this booking was confirmed. When we arrived, our booking had been switched to the tiki Winnebago without any consultation or prior knowledge. We did enjoy staying at the tiki until the door first would not close, then one of our friends tried closing it from the outside. That worked, but then the door was jammed shut and she was locked out. She had to end up climbing through the window to get back in. In the morning, the host was responsive and came to check out the problem. Upon arrival they indicated this was a known problem and told us to pull on a screw on the door to get it unlocked. The theme was cute, the host was responsive and kind, but unfortunately the stuck door was a safety hazard and our booking was switched without our knowledge which makes this a no-go in the future.

What a fun place! The owners are super sweet and helpful. Everything is clean and easy. The camper is cute and special. We loved the Betty Boop theme! The whole place is magical, make sure you check out the museum. This was an adult trip but I want to come back and bring the kids. They have a heated pool that had me wishing we brought our suits.

We really enjoyed Starlite! The owners put a lot of care and love into their campground. The grounds were very clean, lots of activities for families (pool, yard games etc), and the fixed up old campers fascinated my kids. The pull through full hook up spots were each to get in and out of with plenty of maneuvering room. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to anyone. The effort the owners put in makes such a huge difference in making this a great campground.

Highly recommended! Whether you have a tent, RV, camper, or none of the above, there is a place for you here. The owners were a delight. The environment is kid, family, and dog friendly. The facilities are spotless and cleaned frequently throughout the day. Beautiful views! Also, Karaoke Night was hosted, which ends promptly at 10pm for a late but reasonable bedtime ;-) Heated swimming pool, dog park, sand volleyball court, playground… All with space to relax and enjoy a lovely ambiance.

Overall it was an okay stay. The bathrooms are in acceptable condition (although the men’s urinal was broken and one of the toilets was coming detached from the floor). The pool was nice but only open two of the three days we stayed. The main problem was the lack of attention by the host, given that there was literally a frat party going on in the campsites next to us and no one seemed to care or regulate them. We had 10 drunk college kids constantly cussing, playing loud music and (badly) singing to it at high volume, and literally yelling and screaming until almost 3 o’clock in the morning. Was definitely audible throughout the entire campground so there’s no excuse not to shut that down. Really made it difficult to get to sleep and stay asleep. Can’t really recommend this place.

Tiki - Vintage Motorhome
I stayed in the “Tiki Winnebago” for a quick glamping staycation with a couple of girlfriends. The owners were very kind and welcoming, and the resort itself is super cute with great family-friendly vibes. That said, it’s definitely geared more toward families with young kids. The campers are very close together, and our Winnebago wasn’t the cleanest. There was dog hair in the sheets, mouse droppings in the pantry, and the floor was so dirty we kept our shoes on. The bathroom inside was tiny, but the shared common bathroom was clean, spacious, and a nice surprise. Overall, mixed feelings. We probably wouldn’t book again, but I think families would really enjoy it.
