We offer free Wi-Fi access*, clean laundry and shower facilities, and a camp store with last-minute supplies, snacks & souvenirs. Most of our large tent campsites are right on the south fork of the Arkansas river offering a peaceful & relaxing setting.
*Cell Service/Internet: We are located in the beautiful Rocky Mountains right on the South Arkansas River surrounded lots of shady trees, amazing nearby hikes, fishing & much more. This is the perfect environment to relax and be immersed in nature but not so perfect to be fully connected like you are at home as there is no Cell Service provided by any of the large carriers, (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, etc…). We do provide free WIFI that will help send a text, make a call or check an email, but that is about it. The free WIFI works best near the camp store and some of the closer RV sites. It does not work at all at the tent sites. We highly suggest you bring your own internet (Your personal Starlink will work great here) if you are wanting stay fully connected, work remotely or do other heavy internet tasks. We want your stay to be as enjoyable as possible so please do not come here and have the unrealistic expectation that our free WIFI will meet your streaming, remote working or internet heavy needs.

Our land is out away from all the noise and lights. You can see the milky way and the stars at night are amazing. then to have the view of the Sangre de Christo mountain range is amazing to enjoy. The surrounding valley has lots to offer from the quant little towns and coffee shops to the home style meals at the restaurants. and all the hot springs are amazing.
Your site is overlooking the Sangre de Christo mountain range. The land is Alpine desert with sagebrush and ground cactus and incredible star gazing. There are 2 great hiking trails within a couple miles. There are 3 hot springs within 30 minutes. The Great sand dunes national park is within 1hr. The San Luis valley offers, hiking, mountain biking, ATV trail, Horse back riding, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, rafting, refuges for wildlife watching.
New for 2024, The flushable toilet and shower are now operational. The shower house is located in the center of the loop with sites 1,2,3 on the south side of the building. It has an on demand water heater, there is also a a flushable toilet located in the same space. An important note about the toilet, Do Not flush anything other than toilet paper please. DO NOT flush feminine hygiene products, napkins or hand wipes or anything other than toilet paper. These type of things plug and burn up the pump while pumping out the tank. This will cause the toilet to be unusable.
ATTENTION: THE SHOWER HOUSE AND TOILET WILL BE SHUTTING DOWN AND GETTING WINTERIZED OCTOBER 1ST UNTIL MAY 1ST.

There is access to white water rafting, guided fishing, and fishing lessons. There are at least 5 hot springs within 60 miles of Twin Bridges Campground. Salida is considered the white-water rafting capitol of the US by some and has a whitewater park and surfing wave. Salida area is also home to a ton of hiking (14'ers anyone?) and mountain biking trails. The Royal Gorge is a quick 30 minute drive with restaurants and other fun near Canon City. The Sand Dunes are 90 minutes and Monarch Ski Area is 45, we have some of the best bird watching! Warbling Vireo, Western Wood-peewee, Cassin's Kingbird to name a few.

We had such a great overnight stay. The owners are very down to earth and pleasant to talk with. Their location is both easy to access as well as away from everything. The tent decks are perfect and you are tucked up in the aspens, it feels private. You’ll have access to the kitchen and grill, the outdoor seating area to enjoy your meal and watch the hummingbirds come to the feeders. The bathrooms are very clean and in the morning you will have the most unique shower experience ever. I really enjoyed the place, it was perfect! I thank them so much for being setup and open to people like that a just traveling through.

Lucky and Inga were great! They were quick to respond and gave me great recommendations for the area. I recommend ice lake trail where the entrance is only 2mins from their spot. The tent decks worked out wonderfully. Also shootout to Lucky for letting me use his Blackstone, worked great for making some meals!

Ray’s site was great. Close proximity to Bailey as well as tons of trails. He had all the amenities needed for our rig and our two little ones had a great time playing on the property. Thanks for setting up the scavenger coin hunt! The kids found plenty of coins :)

We stayed in T12 Tent Site and it was a great experience. Beautiful campground, smooth check-in process, clean bathrooms, nice laundry, and as a bonus, outdoor games, board games, and an impressive DVD collection were free to use. Our tent was maybe 10ft from the river with tons of room to ourselves. Can't speak highly enough about this campground!

We stayed in the 2-bedroom suite and had a wonderful "glamping" experience. The rooms were clean, with plenty of silverware/cookware/kitchen utensils available. Check-in and out was a breeze with the detailed communications we received, and the location is ideal for exploring the Salida and San Isabel National Forest areas. The only negative was that it was quite hot at night despite running the fans and opening the windows (which were a bit tricky to get open). The property owners are planning to install a swamp cooler for the unit soon, and that should help mitigate the heat. As a family of 5, we found this suite perfect (the sofa in the living room pulls out into a futon-style bed). Highly recommend this spot for any families looking for a nice glamping vacation.

Great little camping resort. The family takes well care of their property. The bathhouse was extremely clean. They had live music while we were there that was fabulous. Our camp site was nice and flat. The road noise was present but we already knew it would be. Next time I would book the site next to us as that site drives through ours to get to theirs. Not a big problem though. We had a great time.

Paul and Robin’s Library Schoolhouse rental is so awesome! The rental is a one room cabin decorated like an old schoolhouse on the prairie. Super cute and very comfortable. There is a very clean toilet and shower room on the side of the building. We went for a peaceful night of stargazing. The views were breathtakingly clear of the Milky Way, constellations, with the Sande Cristo mountains at the forefront. Gorgeous.
Paul met us at the gate and gave us some great information about the area and their land. He and his wife have put so much love and hard work into this property. We can’t wait to go back and experience other seasons in the alpine desert.

Great little serene spot off the highway with sizable camping sites for RV’s and tent camping.
We spent a couple of nights here on a little in-state road trip before a festival and we really enjoyed our time here. One of the best parts that I hadn’t even considered was the distance from the highway. Most rv parks in this area are on the river, but that also means on the highway. Pleasant Valley is on the river but tucked away from the highway blocked by a couple of properties which significantly cuts the road noise. It feels like a little piece of paradise when you’re there at your spot on the river with the stars over head.
Definitely a must stop if you’re in the area.

The tent decks were well made and very convenient for camping during rainy days. Each site also has a picnic table which is very nice to have. The Aspen trees surrounding the tent decks are gorgeous and so peaceful. The hosts are very friendly! Very convenient location to many hikes along the Million Dollar Highway.

Ray is a cool dude, personable and welcoming, and he was very accommodating to my dog and I. He has some really beautiful property in the midst of the pike national forest with lots of great hiking, fishing and mountain biking in the area.
The spot was level with 30 amp and water hook ups right there. It is a challenge to get a longer rig in there. It would be easier to back in from the road but it is possible and worth it. The place is really quiet and peaceful making for a great getaway spot from the hustle and bustle of Denver.

Ray's casita is remotely located in a beautiful setting of pine trees. The casita is new and is beautifully crafted with highlights of natural wood. It has a bathroom, shower, kitchen cabinets, refrigerator, microwave and hot plate.

Great little setup here. Right off fourmile, easy trail access to betasso and close to busses, tent platform was clean and included tie in points for guylines or cord - bring some since you can’t stake down! Amenities were extremely welcome after time in the backcountry. Shout out to Nick at the front desk for being helpful and generally awesome.

Ray's set up is absolutely wonderful! We stayed 3 nights in our camper trailer and will definitely be back to stay here again in the future. Ray is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. It's a very quiet and peaceful spot just about a 15ish minute drive to Wellington lake.

56 ft fifth wheel
Beautiful ranch. Very quiet and secluded. Nice to have full hookups and not have to get reservations a year in advance. Definitely would recommend! We have a 36' fifth wheel and our friends have a 40' fifth wheel with no issues.
