It doesn’t take long after pulling off onto the road that leads to Kelly Place to notice that you are now on sacred grounds. We only spent 2 nights there, but that was enough to get the understanding that this was a place of uniquenesses that held a certain amount of powers. I’m yet uncertain how long it might take to come to grips with it what’s held there, but I’m very grateful for the time allotted and will soon return for a deeper connection. If you have a spiritual side to yourself and this comes up on your radar, by all means necessary book it and thank not only me later, but more importantly those that have taken the oath to keep this spirit alive and well. 5,000 ⭐️’s is the rating if possible. And thank you to those behind the scenes that keep this location place alive and well!!!

An absolute dream! My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. Sunset on property was gorgeous! The trails around camp were super fun. Friendly staff. Our pour-over site was tucked away, beautiful, felt safe. Grounds were clean and stocked.

Our stay was wonderful. The directions easy to follow so we didn’t have to rely on gps. The camping site was sheltered which was a appreciated as it was a a windy night and we have a roof tent, we had our own bathroom which was very clean and hot shower. The jewel was the lodge which was open to us and we enjoyed the comfortable space to have tea and meet other guests. We walked the property in the morning after a homemade breakfast from our host ( worth it!) . We would love to come back.

Ancient Echoes is a sacred and beautiful space. Where you may explore history and learn about a mission dedicated to the preservation of cultural diversity and agricultural heritage.
I am so grateful to have began my first trip to Colorado here. I was able to de-stress after a long roadtrip by taking a hot shower and enjoying a hot cup of tea. To be followed by a sweet camp under a beautiful sky full of stars. It was great to be able to utilize the amenities. Although the unique location, proximity to national monuments and awesome trails all encouraged me to stay an extra night. We highly recommend taking all the time you can to truly enjoy Ancient Echoes at Kelly Place.
A huge thank you to our wonderful hosts and new friends Celine and Allison. Your hospitality and communication along the way were truly outstanding. The work put into this sanctuary is incredible and inspiring!

This is a delightful and peaceful place. For campers, it is well-equipped with a fully stocked kitchen, a bathroom, and beautiful indoor spaces in which to relax. Likewise, there are several outdoor spaces where one may sit in the shade, lie in a hammock, walk a labyrinth, read by a circulating fountain, nestle a tent in the elbow of red rock. All have great wi-fi access.
Allie and Celine are kind hosts who will ensure you are acquainted with all the possibilities here, including the hiking trails and ancient sites, the library, the nearby places of interest. They've created a place that evokes creativity, serenity, and rejuvenation. This would be a perfect location for a small-group retreat.
Having been here long ago, under previous ownership, I'm so glad to be back. Especially given all they've done and are doing to improve the property, not just materially, but aesthetically. Much of the decor reflects the Rio Grande Valley, its artisans, its lands, and its history.
I am eager to return!

We enjoyed camping with our campervan. We only stayed a night but wished we could have stayed longer! The host was super helpful and personable. Do not miss experiencing the Kiva and pueblo!

The Pour Over Tent
We loved tent camping at the Pourover and exploring the canyon at Ancient Echoes! It was a perfect place to stop on our road trip and the communal bathroom and shower was clean and wonderful!

Absolutely magical place not to be missed. Our family will remember this camping spot for years to come. Breakfast was included & it was delicious. The site had full RV hookups & great amenities. Definitely recommend

The place is run down, bathroom was not clean. The host talked down to us when we had been told the breakfast would be delivered. The host was not wearing a mask when cooking. We could tell they clearly had an issue with us being there. We left after the first night we were so uncomfortable. If you are anything other than someone who follows their belief system stay away.

Tent Camp among Anasazi Ruins
We had a lovely stay here with our children (ages 8 and 10). Our campsite was great, with beautiful rock walls behind. Our hosts were so kind and the main lodge had so many amnesties. The breakfast was delicious, with many tasty choices. The self guided walking tour was fantastic and we were amazed by the ruins on the property, giving thanks to Spirit for letting us be in that sacred space and land. We only wish we had more time and plan to come back. Highly recommend the canyon hike. They also have little cabins. Very close to Mesa Verde National Park too. Thank you!

Tent Camp among Anasazi Ruins
Kelly’s is a unique, serene and beautiful place! Our hosts, Doreen and Mark, were beyond accommodating, and such great resources for the area. Wonderful leisurely day hikes around the property and magnificent stargazing at night. Hope to be back again!

Kelly's place is absolutely magical. Nestled between Sleeping Ute Mountain and Canyons of the Ancients, you are truly o sacred land, not to mention the kiva and ruins on the property itself. And Jerine and Marc are fabulous hosts. I cannot recommend tis place enough!

Kelly Place is a multi generational preservation of excavated and partially excavated ruins of the Anasazi Pueblo II and III people. They have great take-home literature about the cultures of the land. And a self guided tour where you can explore the land at your own pace. Great weather. Great tent site close to the well kept bathroom. Very Covid Safe. The Spots are far apart, the owners always wear masks and stay at least 6 ft away. Interactions With other patrons beyond waving, is rare. No mosquitos or rodents. Friendly plants and beautiful indigenous trees shade morning sun. Breakfast!!!!!! Day 1: We had generous serving of French toast with sliced almonds, spices and 2 scoops of fresh strawberry sauce each. Sausages, juice, cereal, and toast. Day 2 was a spicy quiche, country potatoes, fresh fruit, English muffins, juices and jam. Stay here for the Breakfast and the Local Cats. 2 cats: “Cookie Dough” and “Jack” beautiful hunters of the Anasazi Ruins that patrol the tent camp site and keep the peace.

Fantastic camping. We were met by our host who let us pick our site - great options available. There were hiking paths in the canyons and to the ruins. Shower and bathrooms were clean and well maintained. We were served breakfast in the morning in the lodge, which we selected from a list the night before. The food was great and all guests were spaced far apart. We also took advantage of a guided horseback ride through Canyon Trails Ranch, which is right next door. We loved our stay and wish we could have been there longer.

What a hidden gem. Secluded with a great breakfast included! Loved the on grounds kiva and self guided tour of the property - they give you a little booklet that tells the history and the tour stops.

We loved this place! The artifact tour was really neat and the breakfast was good. We were the only campers due to the pandemic, so it made our stay even more special. The directions were easy and everyone was adhering to masks & social distancing. As previous reviews mention, the only toilet is with the shower, so this could be an issue if the campsites are full. But, the shower was hot and great! We’ll be back!

It's amazing that there's a place that's so comfortable to stay in and still has ancient ruins to explore. The hikes are breathtaking and remarkably close to the camping area. I saw a family of quail for the first time. They were adorable.

This is a wonderful place that combines camp sites and other accommodations with the B&B experience, and the Pueblo sites are fascinating: what an experience to be able to descend into the kivas and read about the site's history, all within an easy walk of camp. Great stargazing at night, too.
