The view from the door of the tent is absolutely gorgeous. And I really liked the shower with the window looking out over the landscape. Staying there was a lovely experience - would definitely stay again!

Loved the feel of this eco-conscious, secluded camp site. Wasn’t sure what to expect as we drove in but we were so pleasantly surprised by the peaceful atmosphere and surrounding landscape. It was peaceful and private (we were the only ones there at the time!), but wouldn’t say quiet… heard the coyotes howl throughout the night and the on-site rooster helped us get an early start in the morning! My daughter loved watching the chickens, and using the compost toilet, and I enjoyed the most beautiful view of the stars and Milky Way from our tent. Only downside was that it was much farther from Great Sand Dunes park than I realized (about an hour b/c it sits on the N boundary of the park and the entrance is from the So.) Would definitely recommend and hope to return in the future. :)

The location was remote and directions made it easy to find. Serene, quiet, quiet, quiet. Outdoor sink/kitchen and picnic table were handy for clean up/bfast. Toilets were clean and shower set up cool but we didn't need to use. Tent was larger than expected, firm bed was cozy w fluffy blankets and string lights were soothing. We will definitely return and recommend. Thank you for helping reset the Cells, Namaste, Amituofo, thank you🙏🏽

I loved staying at Lydia’s tent! She was super hospitable and really welcoming. The tent was beautiful and so unique, and the view was incredible, especially at sunset. Beautiful drive to the location, address provided took me right to the site, and I slept wonderfully on the massive and comfy bed provided— it was super cozy! The bathroom and shower were also a cool experience on their own. They were clean, water was hot, pressure was great, and they were super cute and unique.

I had a situation at this property of getting locked out of my car with the headlights on all night and tried a few times/ways but could not reach the host between 9pm and 10am the next morning. I would have had to walk several miles for help if I hadn't gotten through to a tow company that was in business in the remote location (I waited until morning to call the tow for fear of disturbing other guests or the hosts, who didn't seem to be present in their house on the property that night) there was apparently a wifi signal that would've been extremely useful but I could not find any password. I was very lucky to have a bar of service there. Also, I didn't see anything about not being recommended to arrive after dark because of complicated signage on the listing before I booked. It wasn't that hard to find where to go. The tent pad itself was not maintained.

Loved it! That bath felt soooooo good!! I did get my Promaster campervan stuck in the sand upon arriving, but I was very proud that I was able to get it out by myself with my camp shovel and blocks. Highly recommend!

The Medicine Tent was just what I needed to get away and unwind in the beautiful and mystical San Luis Valley. The tent and bathhouses were so comfortable and clean, and made relaxing in the cool mountain breeze and under the stars all the more simple. Lydia was responsive and helpful, and gave me some great recommendations for hikes and things to do in the area. I would absolutely recommend these camping and glamping spots to anyone who wants a great home base to explore the Sangre De Cristo Range, Crestone’s unique spiritual communities, Great Sand Dune’s National Park, or just to star gaze under the darkest skies you’ll find anywhere.

This is a comfortable spot with amazing views! The bed was super comfy and my fiancé and I slept great. The tent is really spacious, with amazing views right outside the door. Very convenient to have running water and a bathroom as well.

I really enjoyed the quiet retreat with beautiful views! The bed and tent were super cozy and warm. Also a nice bathroom and sink area! Would recommend to anyone looking for relaxing respite!

This was a beautiful spot to camp with our pup!! The amenities were cute and comfortable with clear directions. The resident dog, Daisy, was friendly and made sure we followed LNT. She got along well with our dog, and they played in the sand often. I would highly recommend this spot!

We had a wonderful visit. We were comfortable, and Lydia was responsive and helpful. I am sorry we did not get to meet with her when we arrived, but there was an associate with whom we were able to get some info on local hikes. That was helpful. We would stay again.

Great stay at Lydia's property. The medicine tent was so nice! Plenty of room inside, comfy bed, and nice lighting. Daisy, the property dog, was a great part of the stay as well.

Lydia was a great host and the view from the medicine tent CANNOT be beat! She was communicative, helpful, and the very comfortable and warm bed was the perfect place to land. I enjoyed reading outside of the tent while taking in the mountains, the hot water to wash up at night, and the very clean composting toilet. I would 100% stay again, thank you so much for having me!

This tent and property were marvelous! The bed is very comfortable — we brought an extra blanket or two as we knew it would be in the low 20s and were very cozy. The hot shower in the bathhouse was a huge bonus (especially on a cold night) and the views of both stars and mountains were spectacular. Communication with the host and directions were all clear and prompt. Would recommend!

I am very happy with our stay. Thanks so much for supplying extra blankets before we even arrived, that was very thoughtful. Only change i would make is coming when it was slightly warmer. Only issue that came up was the lights in tent weren't charged, but they were solar powered and it was a cloudy day. Definitely would recommend

It was very peaceful. Great views of the Rockies and surrounding area. Owners are helpful, pleasant & have great suggestions. Tent is roomy, king bed was comfortable, temperatures in the 20s but we kept warm with the wonderful bedding. Table available and cushy chair inside the tent. Two outdoor chairs available if needed. The shower was super hot which I LOVE!!! Clean restroom. Very earth friendly. Soap, TP and bath towels were provided. Easy access to activities around the area. We visited Great Sand Dunes National Park and the quirky Alien Watchtower. There is a community park in Crestone, a small natural foods grocery store and a couple of restaurants to try out. We tried the pizza place that serves alcohol and the food was great! Highly recommend this place to stay. We are relaxed and regenerated after our visit! The resident dog was an added bonus!! She greeted us when we came home and in morning and evenings!!

I had such a wonderful time on Lydia’s land. The views are incredibly beautiful and serene. Although it rained most of the time I was there, I stayed warm and dry in the tent. The bed was super comfy, and the shower was HOT. The host family is lovely. I definitely recommend!

One of my favorite stays I’ve done! Instructions on how to get there/park were very clear. Property was beautiful with the sounds of nature and wildlife near by. Having the tent that faced the mountain made waking up and watching the sunrise was breathtaking! Chairs were out side the teepee so we got to enjoy all the star gazing and shooting stars. Can’t wait to stay again for another get away.
