The property is located 30min from SFO, 40min from San Francisco, 30min from Palo Alto, 20 min from Half Moon Bay.
Each tent is perched on a sturdy wooden platform and features a fully furnished deck, providing a cozy space to relax and soak in the breathtaking ocean (Half Moon Bay views) and forest views (Kings Mountain).
All tents include a mini fridge and a stove, ideal for light cooking, intimate fireside storytelling, and warmth during cool days.
We suggest you bring easy-to-prep food, drinks, warm clothes, hiking shoes, and a beanie, as it can get chilly without notice. Your designated parking space is a 6-minute walk from the campsite (downhill on arrival, then back uphill (steep) in the forest), so we recommend traveling light.
Our campsite is nestled within the same property as our charming little farm.
Our goats roam the land all day and may visit you for pets and nuzzles. They are gentle, but please do not feed or let them inside the tent.
Recharge from the day with a hot shower. Grab your fresh towels from your tent and go to your outdoor allocated bathhouses, where you’ll find an indoor shower and well-appointed restrooms. They are nicely lit and stocked with bath products.
A sink area is available for dish clean-up, and a bbq/picnic area.
KM is famous for its hiking and biking trails nestled amongst the redwoods. The closest is a 15-minute walk from our campsite, and others are within a 15-minute car ride.

Completely private 19 acres to explore while only being 10 min from downtown Los Gatos (FYI has great cell reception). Plenty of flat empty land to pitch tents. There is a compost toilet. There is plenty of room to explore, half of the property is pretty dense wilderness but the main half has hammocks, slack line, fire pit, bbq, tables, etc.

Patchen is located only 10 mins from downtown Los Gatos in one direction and the Santa Cruz beach in the other direction. Took my 7 and 10 year old girls for an overnight camping trip. The place was fantastic, even better than the photographs portrayed. They loved the lake and all the exploring they could do. The location is great as it’s super secluded and yet it’s just a short hop in the car for all the things we forgot (and all the ice cream treats we didn’t, but had to get anyway). Would definitely recommend.

Weekend Trip to Santa Cruz Mountain Camping
A cute, simple retreat space. Located on an open space farm land. There are some shipping containers and spare farm tools/parts around the land and it’s near a road, but the tent still feels tucked away in nature since it is next to nice trees. Easy directions and parking. There are no lanterns or power, so consider bringing a light for the tent. Outhouse is simple but clean, bring spare toilet paper and water if staying for a few days. Bed is super comfy and blankets warm. The sound of nature and cute animal visitors is abundant. Saw turkeys, deer, and many other birds. Enjoyed my stay.

Deano and Kristi put so much care into designing the experience so that everything is ready for you to enjoy your stay. There are some logistics that the average city dweller might not be experienced with but they go above and beyond in providing oral, written and video instruction. The camp site is relatively private and very beautiful, with lots of nearby places to explore. The trailer itself is small but very comfortable. Be careful with kids and pets, that cliff is no joke!

We had an incredible time staying at Blooming Echo and would highly recommend it for a big group! The kitchen was well stocked and there was plenty of table space to enjoy meals together. The camp is surrounded by nature and was a wonderfully peaceful space for lounging and exploring. Overall, the amenities are hard to beat and include everything you could need for a weekend: compost toilet, shower, a covered area for eating, a campfire with chairs, etc. Something to note is that there are ticks in the area so make sure to do tick checks!

We had such a great time here, the property is absolutely beautiful! We stayed in the open grassy field, which was flat, well-maintained, and perfect for a simple, peaceful campsite.
The views were incredible, with rolling hills stretching out toward the ocean and a stunning sunset. There were cows in the nearby pasture, but the highlight was when a whole herd wandered right up to us at dusk. They politely grazed around us while we ate dinner and it felt totally surreal. My 11-year-old called it “magical,” and I agree.
The site felt private, quiet, and just really special. The host "Art" was also super kind and welcoming.
Highly recommend... We’d absolutely come back.

I loved the spaciousness. It was a huge grassy lot and I could park in just about any space. I liked the automatic gate, that it had a picnic table, decent looking bathroom and freshwater hose to fill my water tank. One minor problem was there were some bugs flying around in the field that came into my van, so it took some time to chase them out again (I hate bugs.)

The sunset looked so beautiful and once it got dark, the stars were so nice to look at. The bed was comfortable and we were able to stay warm throughout the night. It was a plus for me that there was already lanterns lighting up the area + a picnic table.
