Our 42 acres is located at the beginning of the award winning Adelaide Wine trail in Paso Robles. Our ranch was once home to a horse boarding and breeding ranch which bred Paso Fino horses, known for their beautiful gait. Having been a horse ranch, it left us with some nice trails that you can enjoy during your stay. We have some nice uphill walks to view your local surroundings while sitting to enjoy a glass of wine or you morning cup of coffee/tea. We are on a well out here so at times you may get a sulphur/mineral smell to the water. Please bring your own drinking/cooking water. It is safe to shower, my hair feels so much thicker! On the ranch you will see that we have 2 donkeys, Desi (black) and Lucy (light grey). Along with our donkeys we have to friendly goats, Fiona (brown) and Sadie (white), they love carrots. but please stick to one carrot a day each, we don't want to over feed them. We also have chickens which means have farm fresh eggs. $5 for 1/2 dozen. Up on the hill you will see Connie a cow and her buddy Samuel, the bull. they love carrots but please do not go into their pasture. She'll think you're bringing food and gets very dangerously excited. Please feel free to walk the property and become one with nature while observing the local indigenous floral and fauna.

We spent two wonderful days at this property. The place is beautiful, surrounded by pastures and vineyards, and the owners are incredibly kind and helpful. We mentioned that we wanted to have a BBQ for dinner, and they provided us with a wood-burning grill, complete with firewood and fire starters. We cooked one of their rib-eyes — absolutely delicious! It was our first experience with a wood-fired BBQ, and we loved it! The property also has a fire pit. We’ll definitely be back! Thank you!

This was the perfect little spot to set up our tent for the night on a road trip up the coast. Just far enough off the beaten path to be quiet and restful, yet still close to the amenities of town and didn't take us too far out of our way. This spot is a little peace of heaven. Our drive in from LA, through the Santa Monica National Recreation Area and up the pacific coast highway was one of the most beautiful drives we have ever made. The rolling hills surrounded by farm and vineyard were the perfect setting to close our day. Perfect temps in July and we slept with the windows open and didn’t even run the generator??? Spot was level and clean and great communication from Olwyn. She gave our kids an incredible tour of the farm and let them help with all the animals. Quick stay but would recommend without reservation! A+++

What an exceptional spot! So peaceful! The hosts are welcoming and warm, just truly good people. Meeting the animals was beyond what I could have imagined. So many cute animals living their best life there under Olwyns amazing care. The kids LOVED it so much and couldn't wait to return to the campsites after our daytrips to greet the dogs. The dogs are such sweethearts and we were so sad to say goodbye. My daughter is still drawing pictures of Lizzy all the time and says she will never forget her. Highly recommend 10/10!

Will & Jesse (and their two girls) were the most welcoming, made sure we had everything we needed and answered all of our questions about the property with smiles on their faces. Broken Branch Creek is a new family farm in Paso Robles, CA. Our land is abundant with with blue oaks and local wildlife. There is a creek bed, usually dry most of the year, that provides excellent rock hunting and shady areas with overhanging oaks. We have grazing cattle fenced off from the camping areas and farm so you may see or hear them during your stay. The entrance to the camping area is a very wide oil pipe fenced driveway off Branch Road, designed to accommodate farm equipment and cattle trailers. Sometimes map apps say you've arrived at one of the separate residential driveways on the property. Please keep looking for the commercial sized entrance. We are a 15 minute drive to the restaurants and shopping in downtown Paso Robles, 8 minutes to the Vina Robles Amphitheater, 6 minutes to the Hunter Ranch Golf Course, and 5 min to the Sensorio Art Exhibit. Barbara and Dan bought these 37 acres in 2005. It had no improvements. The only thing it had going for it was a 250-year-old oak tree, and its location in the heart of wine country. We would come up and camp under the tree, and plant. In 2007, we drilled a well. In 2008, Dan proposed under the tree, and we brought in power. We have continued to make improvements since. We built a little house, then we built a big house, we added farm animals, kids, fruit trees, a jam line, a pond, and more keep coming! So come up and enjoy the farm like we did in the good old days! See you at the Farm! Pitch your tent or park your RV on our 37-acre farm. The campground connects to a hiking trail that takes you to a 2-acre landscaped garden, along a dry creekside. Settled by Thomas James Lynch in the mid to late 1800's, the Lynch Ranch originally ran sheep along Tierra Redonda Mountain. Our 42 acres is located at the beginning of the award winning Adelaide Wine trail in Paso Robles. On the ranch you will see that we have 2 donkeys, Desi (black) and Lucy (light grey). Along with our donkeys we have to friendly goats, Fiona (brown) and Sadie (white), they love carrots. but please stick to one carrot a day each, we don't want to over feed them. We also have chickens which means have farm fresh eggs. $5 for 1/2 dozen. Up on the hill you will see Connie a cow and her buddy Samuel, the bull. they love carrots but please do not go into their pasture. She'll think you're bringing food and gets very dangerously excited. Please feel free to walk the property and become one with nature while observing the local indigenous floral and fauna.
