Robin and Ray have been so welcoming, they have really made us feel like home. They have helped us with the set up of our rented RV, gave us some very useful tips and also some stuff that we were missing (such as leveling blocks, water filters and toilet chemicals). They also treated us to some freshly made cookies and lended some toys for our kid to play with. The spot was super nice and quiet, with a pic nic table, chairs, wood and a firepit. I would highly recommend staying there. Thanks again Robin and Ray for everything.

What a sweet little spot! We loved staying here. Peter has done a wonderful job with this site. It’s a perfect location, tucked away in the trees, and just a few minutes to downtown Calistoga. There’s a picnic table, a Blackstone grill, hot and cold water, and an awesome outdoor shower (our favorite part)! Peter was an excellent host!

Robin was a great host and popped over to say hello when we arrived. Her location was easy to get to and had lovely views of the farmland. We loved getting to take a walk to the beach and were even able to catch a sunset!

Right in the heart of vineyards that our RV was backed up to. Communing with the sheep and dogs was really fun. Walked to a big name vineyard with hundreds more a short drive away.

1 night at Pharo Pharms Organic Farm-

Eileen gave us excellent instructions on how to access the campsite. The area was clean and offered a power outlet as well as water supply. We enjoyed our one night stay especially with the scenic view of the farm lands and animals - would definitely recommend staying here!

First off, Robin and Ray are great hosts, and Robin is a great cook!! The property and sites overlook expansive and beautiful strawberry fields. The short walk to La Selva Beach is 8-10 minutes is easy, and the beach is very private. Great for walking, dogs, and you can fish from the shore. Big thank yous to our hosts. We highly recommend a stay!!

Weekend Trip to Moon Ridge Ranch

We stayed at the Chula Vista site at the Moon Ridge Ranch for 2 nights. Not exactly roughing it as the site was level for our teardrop, had a water hose, port o potty w/sink and propane grill. We took advantage of purchasing some veggies and fresh eggs and there were some other cute things for sale on site. It is dog friendly and you will be greeted by Zeus the GP as you wonder around and visit the animals. As promised, it is a quick trip down to Calistoga if you want to enjoy Napa wines.

6 nights at Beach RV Pleasure Point

The location is terrific, very close to the beach. The spaces are pretty snug, and the sewer connection is close to the front of the back-in space, so we had to pull our trailer up close to the front for the hose to reach. Not a lot of parking spaces for our truck, but it worked out fine. It backs up to a big natural area and is quiet.

Great location. Short drive to anywhere on the Monterey Bay and Santa Cruz area. Easy walk to the beach. We stayed 3 nights for an event in Watsonville and visiting friends in Santa Cruz. Ok place to hang out in, but there was some road noise and activity at the surf shop that made it feel less private during the day. Very quiet at night. I recommend the more expensive site overlooking the strawberry farm. The other sites are on the road with no view. The toilet is just a Porto potty but it was clean. Hosts are very friendly and welcoming.

First trip with our new ( used ) tent pop up trailer and we had a blast!!! Not only is the property beautiful and very well maintained our hosts Phil and Colleen went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time! They were wonderful and we will for sure be returning.

Welcome to southern Santa Cruz County, home of some of the longest and most beautiful beaches in central California. We are located in La Selva Beach, an eight-minute walk to Manresa State Beach. We are a small, working farm with vegetable and flower gardens, chickens and bees. There are many excellent places nearby to hike, walk, surf, swim, tide pool or just sit and enjoy the view. We offer one campsite with unobstructed views of the three hundred acres of strawberry fields that back up to our property. Our campsite provides water and electric hookups and is only appropriate for self-contained recreational vehicles and trailers. There is no size constraint on RVs or trailers. We have plenty of room for a second vehicle. We do offer a port-a potty, but not sinks or showers. We do not accommodate on the ground tent camping or in your car camping. The Valley View site is very quiet, is removed from the road and has a view of the strawberry fields. We provide a water and power hook ups, a picnic table , two camp chairs, a fire pit and a wagon of wood. The site is an 8 minute walk to Manresa State Beach. We love to host guests and will provide information about things to do and see in our area. We often loan our State Parks pass so that you can venture out to Point Lobos, Wilder Ranch, Sunset Beach, Natural Bridges and more. We also offer farm fresh eggs, baked goods and other treats (see our Extras). We are 15 minutes from the village of Capitola, 30 minutes from downtown Santa Cruz and 45 minutes to Monterey. There is a Dump station 5 minutes down the road at the KOA (for a fee).

This is the perfect peaceful getaway near great outdoor activities and some of the best wineries in California! About the Property: Above the Clouds campsite is surrounded by beautiful, stately trees and overlooks the Valley of the Moon with a stunning mountain view. We are just 11 miles from the city of Sonoma and only 8 miles from the Napa Valley - making both destinations really easy to get to. You can enjoy the California wineries, restaurants, and shops that you'd like! We are also ideally located near Jack London State Park - which is a really pretty and historic place to go! The opportunities for hiking around our property are endless, and definitely head to the wineries if that's of interest to you. On our property you can enjoy exploring our more-than 20 acres of land, taking the row-boat (provided by Hosts) out on our pond, hiking or just relaxing in a serene setting and watching a great variety of birds. Formerly utilized as a bed and breakfast, when we moved to the property we definitely wanted to continue sharing the land and views with guests. As hosts, we are around and enjoy getting to know the our visitors if you are up for that, otherwise we are also happy to respect total privacy. There are 3 sites next to the pond, we have one that is there all the time in the summer but those folks only come a couple of times each month. The 2 others are right next to each other near the pond. We haven't started having more than one rented at a time yet but do expect to start that soon. You may have a neighbor or 2. We hope you enjoy the beautiful sunsets and being literally above the clouds as much as we do! About the Listing: Come park your RV on our property and set up camp at a beautiful spot right next to the pond. You should expect to see us on the property, though your site is well away from the house We have minimal electrical and we do have water hookups available for your RV, we do allow generators. There is a BBQ grill that you are welcome to use for cooking some wonderful meals if you'd like! You can enjoy a bite to eat at the picnic table near your campsite. There is also potable water from our natural spring available onsite for guests. You can enjoy watching the birds, turkeys and deer that meander through the meadow, and feel free to roam around the property taking in the fresh outdoor air! Additional Details to Note: - Check-in is after 2pm and check-out is before 12pm - Things to bring: Everything you need to camp comfortably! Think: toilet paper, cookware, bathing suits if you like, etc. - We do not have wifi available on site and cell reception is spotty, especially for certain carriers. Please prepare accordingly for your travels and your stay. - There is a fire ban in effect, so please no campfires, but we do allow you to use a propane fire pit if you bring it yourself. - We welcome your pets!
