This is a wonderful place to camp. As advertised very quiet and secluded for those who want the solitude. R.H. was always quick to respond. He even credited us some time to come back due to the late spring storm that dropped a few inches of snow one night and then a couple inches of rain another night. Would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys dispersed camping with the ability to reserve. Thanks R.H!
Camping under an old pinion pine...
I liked how rough and undeveloped the sites were so far (being a newer place). I hope they do not refine it too much because it felt like you were just camped in the wild more that way. Host set me up in a spot next to a very old pinion pine tree. Host was friendly and helpful, and we had a nice conversation as well. Location was pretty convenient too for hitting up the dunes.

Wide open space, that was very quiet and off the beaten path. We enjoyed the night sky and views. It was great being able to explore the land and be so close to Mountain Home Reservoir, Sand Dunes, and Hooper pools. Lots to see in this area and Camper Diem was a good home-base. The host was very responsive and helpful!

Oh my you made it so easy to host. Honestly we love the camplove and you get a free stay day or two on your way back thru. We didn’t exactly mean that to rhyme but we’re going with it.
