It is time to enjoy some peace and quiet with limited cell phone service and breathtaking views. You will be the ONLY ONE on 5 acres of land to explore. Find yourself adventuring through the gulch on a zip line, relaxing under the beautiful pinon trees, grilling some tasty food, sitting next to a crackling fire or enjoying one of three tree swings. At night, you may find that the views of the night sky are simply unbeatable, you’re in a dark sky zone…don't forget to look up! The sunrise and sunsets are beautiful too! Walk to the top of one of the many peaks for stunning views. Adventure to the highest peak and be surprised with a tree swing!
To make things even better, there are 3 fire pits with campsites to go along with them. Use the cabin which sleeps 2 guests and extra guests can tent camp! The cabin includes a pull out couch (sleeps 2), 2 air mattresses (and a pump), water jug and pump, toilet, off grid shower, cooking pans and utensils, bowls/plates, cups, coffee, propane cook stove and more! Parking for 2-3 cars. HIGH CLEARANCE VEHICLES RECOMMENDED! Otherwise you may not be able to pull into the driveway. Jeep Patriot or similar can make it.
This land is located in the heart of the Sangre de Cristo Mountain Range. At the eastern edge of the San Luis Valley, Sangre de Cristo Ranches are virtually surrounded by the Rockies. Monitor usage; do not drop below 1/4 full or it may damage the pump. Showers use 1.75 gal/min. Camp style rinse off showers. (Dry cabin Nov–May; no running water during freeze months)

Weekend Trip to Camp Catori
Camp Catori was exactly what we didn’t know we were looking for—the perfect retreat from Denver. The view of Blanca Peak is absolutely breathtaking, and we could have happily spent the whole day just relaxing, reading, and napping on the outdoor sectional while soaking it in. The tiny home is thoughtfully equipped with everything you need for a cozy, comfortable off-grid stay. We will definitely be back ❤️

My family of 4 + a dog loved our stay! It was a bit squishy as you would expect fitting a family of 4+ in a tiny home...but it was cozy! Comfortable beds all around and the means for making coffee. :) But the absolute best part was the DECK! Gorgeous views. Great birding! Great place to drink said coffee. This was a perfect stay for us on a trip to the Great Sand Dunes. Also, excellent communication with the host.

A super comfortable bed, snacks and treats if we wanted them, and many amenities to keep us cozy during our stay. When we woke up in the morning, we enjoyed coffee under the tree-zebo. The propriety the stunning and the hosts went above and beyond. Definitely recommend! We’ll be back!

For parents of toddlers:
Pros: Gorgeous views, comfy beds, was able to fit our pack & play in the house with the SlumberPod cover over it. Full kitchen and fridge made it easy to prep and store food. 30 minutes from the Sand Dunes where our 1.5 year old had an BLAST playing in the sand and the creek.
Cons: lots of things for kiddos to get into in the house (not baby proof) so need to be extra vigilant. No railings on the deck or stairs, and the outdoor area is almost always in full sun so bring lots of sunscreen for your littles. But our host graciously and thoughtfully warned us about all these things so we tried to come prepared!!

Incredible views, a great tiny house and close to the Great Sand Dunes! Couldn’t ask for much more. Goat was incredibly accommodating and very helpful. Definitely recommend!
