This is a great little spot. Really quiet and great access to some beautiful views. She had everything prepared and a helpful set up. It’s got a few quiet places to hang out and just read or relax. Overall it was a fantastic stay!

We just got back from an incredible stay at Starlite Vintage RV Resort, and let me tell you—it was everything we didn’t know we needed. From the quick, hassle-free check-in to the spotless grounds, everything was on point. We stayed in the Betty Boop RV and it was adorable. Vintage charm with modern comfort—clean, cozy, and full of character. It felt like stepping into a romantic time capsule (but thankfully with hot water and a comfy bed). Perfect for a couples’ getaway with just the right amount of quirk. The heated pool was an awesome surprise—great for a relaxing dip after a day of adventuring and soaking in those ridiculously stunning views. Seriously, everywhere you look is postcard-worthy. The bathhouse and shared bathrooms? Spotless. Like, “do they have a secret cleaning fairy?” level spotless. While it was a romantic weekend for us, we couldn’t help but notice how family-friendly the whole place was too—play areas, pool fun, and wide open space. We’ll definitely be back and could see bringing the whole crew next time (but also… might just escape for another couple’s weekend again first ). Highly recommend if you’re looking for something fun, unique, and full of good vibes. Retro magic in the mountains!

Weekend Trip to Cabin, RV & RV Site by Muller Park

Wow… where do I start. This was legitimately my favorite hipcamp I’ve ever been to. Dan is the man, an absolute wonder of a human. The little cabin was clean, tidy, and was super cozy. Price was extremely fair and the bathroom was very nice. We drove almost 2000 miles to this hipcamp, so it being as nice as it was when we arrived was amazing. We will be back, I couldn’t recommend this place more!

Weekend Trip to Yeti Sanctuary

My lovely lady and I booked a last minute get away from responsibilities trip here, jumped on my Harley and just winged it with a sleeping bag and essentials. It was the right decision and we enjoyed sitting at the fire late into the night conversing without the distractions of cell phones or the outside world. The host is down to earth and welcoming. The cabin is primitive and rustic which was exactly what we wanted and saved us from having to strap a tent to the bike also. Will definitely be back to enjoy this little slice of peace in the future! Cheers!

2 nights at Camp Kan-Ne-Ga (Ute for "home")

We had a great time on Will’s beautiful property! He was very accommodating and genuinely happy to host us on his land and ensure we had everything we needed to have fun! This place is very well thought out and we didn’t need to bring much - all the joys of camping without the work! The property is just as pictured- loved all the amenities and “camping” with a mattress is a must for us now! Our kids and dogs loved roaming the property, collecting wood, star gazing, s’mores making, roasting dinner over the open fire, hammock time and playing bags. Eleven Mile Canyon and fossil hunting at the quarry was a great days adventure. Fun for everyone 😃 thanks so much for hosting us and hope we can come visit again soon!

I loved the location. Beautiful view of the water steps away. Very private. The bed was comfortable with linens provided. If you’re visiting in the summer months I would highly recommend bringing an extra fan or 2. Check in was seamless. The views are amazing. Great location for your 4 legged pup. Coffee post, mini fridge and microwave were a great plus. I would also bring mosquito spray and bug zapper. I only had to use mine the last day. You are able to see the rafters from the front porch. Great place to unwind and peaceful.

The tipi was absolutely awesome, the other sights were spread out perfectly they wasn't right on top of each other. It had really beautiful views, it will definitely be one of our go to spots for sure.

Weekend Trip to Cabin, RV & RV Site by Muller Park

The host was very nice and informative regarding the wildlife that was around as well as things to do. He had provided nice accomodations and if needed he was open to text or call if there were any issues. The area around was very quiet and relaxing. He really likes the old west and wants to expand to make it more western themed

1 night at Wonderlust Off-Grid Camper

Charlene's property was such a great camping experience! Beautiful and peaceful land for a chill time with the family...and our dogs loved running around. The camper was clean and nicely appointed with everything from paper towels to games & coloring books and the trampoline is a fun touch. We would definitely stay again!

Weekend Trip to Asha's Retreat

We had a great weekend at Asha’s retreat. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the quiet, bird watching and hiking. Olga was very responsive and helpful.

Weekend Trip to Camp Kan-Ne-Ga (Ute for "home")

Our family had the most wonderful time at Will's campsite. Highlights were exploring the property with our dogs off-leash, the relaxing atmosphere, a clean restroom, and how comfortable the space was. A very beautiful place away from the hustle and bustle of the city. If you're someone who likes camping and eating in the countryside, be prepared; there aren't many food options around there. Everything else is excellent. A place to enjoy, break away from routine, and relax. I also recommend it for couples.

Everything was fine. My grandchildren came on the last day and swam in the pool. Then we spent the afternoon at the dinosaur exhibit across the road. And the bridge and zipline and tram cars were a lot of fun.

It was incredible!! Host was very friendly and tipi was fun. Be aware you can hear the road from the tipi.

2 nights at Sweetwater River Resort

We loved the privacy of Pioneer Cabin 2 with views of the river. It was very cozy and convenient for our rafting and zip lining tours in Cañon City.

Harmony Ridge Farm

We began this venture in 2012 by purchasing 35 acres overlooking a 7000 acre homestead. We are located on the beautiful eastern plains of Colorado southeast of Denver. Rolling hills dotted with Ponderosa pines that encourage wildlife to settle in. Pikes Peak, is to the west with Longs Peak and Mount Evans all visible on clear days. We have 35 acres and raise alpaca’s, chickens, cats and dogs as well as a large garden. We are totally off grid and enjoy life in the home my husband built using trees he cut down and milled on his saw mill. We lived on the property in a 400sq ft cottage while building the house. Wired for electricity (generator powered) but no running water or bathroom. We mostly cooked on a camp stove on the deck or on the wood burning stove in the cottage. About 4 years ago I read something about Hipcamp and we have been doing it ever since. We converted the cottage into a space for people to come and relax and enjoy the beauty and quiet of the prairie. We have a small young forest behind the cottage that has plenty of space for tent campers and a small 10x12’ 2 story mini-barn style cabin we camped in for the first couple of years before the cottage was moved out here. We offer this cabin as a hang out place for guests especially if the weather is bad. The west side opens onto a good sized deck. We added the Bijou Tree House to our options a couple years ago! It is a one room cabin (sleeps 2) with an incredible picture window that frames Pikes Peak beautifully. It is nestle among some old Ponderosa Pines; sports a cute tiny wood burning stove; bar table in front of the window; deck with seating and a propane camp chef 2 burner stove. A hammock is available for use and private outhouse just a few feet away. Across the gulley is the new Sawmill Cabin Jim built under the canopy of his sawmill. It is small, and can sleep 3 with a unique bunk over a queen sized platform bed. A small deck, fire pit all under a covered open space. More kids? Bring a tent! there’s room! We love sharing our story and our home and the beautiful place God has gifted us with people from all over the world and hope to host you as well. Come & relax, watch the bird, other animals; beautiful sunrises and sunsets; stars at night; visit our Farm Store!

The tiny cabin has a propane heater to make this a beautiful and cozy experience. A place to find peace, and nature with lots of wildlife, you may get a glimpse of a bear, mountain lion, fox, wild turkeys, deer, cayote. Enjoy the outdoor fireplace (weather permitting), watching a beautiful night sky, in a clear sky you can spot the Milky way and some star constellations. The place is surrounded by many tourist attractions. Gambling, hiking, biking, fishing, Florissant fossil bed with giant tree stumps, horseback riding, waterfalls, wolf and wildlife sanctuary, balloon rides, mining museums, our majestic Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Royal Gorge bridge, Rio Grande train rides and more! If you like to shoot arrows bring your bow! The terrain is rocky so, we highly recommend to keep your eyes on your small kids as well as when they are on the lofts, for security reasons. Reiki healing sessions are available upon request as well as Reiki training by a Certified Reiki Master. Smoking is permitted outside when not under a fire ban. Hipcamper under 21 years old are welcome only under adult supervision. We recommend to bring your own towels and a flashlight since our lodging has an out side toilet. Please don't expect a flash toilet, we want to emphasize that we offer a porta potty. We are charging a very small cleaning fee, expecting our guests to leave the place as they found it.
