(Ask Hiker Dot for guidance.) Several National Forest access points, where you can enjoy peaceful walks away from crowds, are a short drive.

Bliss Canyon is a spur off of breathtaking, picturesque South Saint Vrain Canyon. Stroll on over to the South or Middle for renowned fly fishing. For climbers, there are over 50 climbs in South Saint Vrain Canyon!

If you like to watch the stars and meteor showers, Bliss Canyon is blessed with dark skies with little light from the plains. Bring your telescopes and explore the Universe.
Rocky Mountain National Park, one of the five Crown Jewels of the National Park Service, is nearby. The closest trailhead in RMNP is 10 miles, the next trailhead at Wild Basin entrance to the park is 13 miles, and the Beaver Meadows entrance (main entrance) is 36 miles. Rocky Mountain National Park has breathtaking drives, easy strolls with interpretive signs, and 360 miles of trails. (Advance reservation required for entry 9:00 am to 3:00 pm for main park, or 5:00 am to 6:00 pm for Bear Lake corridor.)
Indian Peaks Wilderness also has several nearby access points and trailheads. Ask Dot for details.
The charming town of Lyons is 20 minutes away with coffee shops, restaurants, bars, lots of great live music, and quaint shops. Also, Spirit Hound Distillery received the award for the #1, Best Whiskey in the World in 2022, hmmm, it might be worth a tasting!
Due to our popularity reservations often fill up quickly. We suggest you make your reservations in advance especially if you have a group to rent the entire camp. At times there are last minute cancelations which allows for last minute openings.

We live on 6.5 acres of stunning forested land located 1000 feet above downtown Boulder. Our property rests on a peninsula with views of the white-capped peaks to the west and the city lights to the east. The property feels far away from the bustle of city life, yet it is only an EIGHT-MINUTE drive to the heart of downtown Boulder's historic shopping district and ten minutes from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
Vista Tranquila, the name given to our property by its previous owners, has trails to meander, picnic tables, horseshoes, swings hanging from the trees, a competitive-level trampoline, benches with views, and hammocks.
The communal food prep area has a gas grill, a table for food prep, and a seating area. We request that guests pack out all trash. Since we do not provide stoves, pans, utensils, or cleanup facilities, please bring paper towels to wipe off your stoves, pans, dishes, and utensils.
A well-maintained portable flush toilet is provided in a tall tent near the main residence.
A spigot can be found with fresh well water on the back side of the main residence. We do not offer showers. However, the Boulder Recreation Center (a 10-minute drive) offers showers and other facilities for a small fee.
You can enjoy a historic mining town experience with fine dining and live bluegrass/ folk music at the town of Gold Hill which is less than 20 minutes up our canyon.
Kayakers, climbers, hikers, and cyclists (mountain, road, and gravel) will have an outdoor playground within a very short drive or right outside our door. World-class climbing located at Eldorado Canyon State Park is only a 25-minute drive.
If you seek bigger peaks beyond Boulder Mountain Parks, the Indian Peaks Wilderness and Rocky Mountain National Park are a gorgeous 45-minute drive.

A camp stove is available for outdoor use. The camp stove and the propane heater both use 1 lb propane canisters, so feel free to bring your own fuel to cook and keep you warm. A can of propane is always available for your use of the stove.
* A note to novice campers and regular hotel patrons: Though you are in a shelter, you are still exposed to the elements. The treehouse is not insulated. Wind, bugs, and critters may all be a part of the variable treehouse experience mother nature has planned for you. If you are not comfortable camping, getting dirty, swatting flies, being too hot, being too cold, hearing the noises of animals at night, waking up to the sound of magpies, and who knows what else, this experience may not be for you.

Nestled in a private canyon just 20 minutes from Fort Collins, this 5-star RV stay offers the perfect escape.
Don’t worry about rv parks, dump stations, and utilities. It’s all taken care of for you, nestled on a custom dug terrace overlooking my private canyon. Sunrises and sunsets are a dream!
This RV is parked for you, set, and ready to enjoy. City water is on site via a 250 gallon fresh water tank (I fill it for each visitor). I also take care of the sewage and grey tanks for every visitor.
This is an off grid property, with all the amenities you need. There is no cell service, but I have you covered. Starlink satellite is on site, and gives you super fast, high speed connection.
Enjoy 20 acres of wildflowers, quiet nights, and stunning canyon views. Firewood is provided for your camp fire, in either of the two fire pits just steps from the rv. A nearby shed also offers a place for luggage, trash storage, etc and gives you more room in the rv.
The RV is solar-powered with a backup diesel generator. and fully equipped for comfort. It has a queen size bed, two bunk beds, and a convertible dining table that makes into another full sized bed. Sleep 5 in comfort.
Adventure nearby: fish the Poudre River (10 minutes) or catch live music at Mishawaka Amphitheater (20 minutes).

Kings Canton is tucked away, and access isn’t too bad. I have spent 8 years rebuilding the road for access by most vehicles. Four wheel drive is recommended just in case, but not necessary. The private road has loose gravel in spots. Most SUVs can access. I have had my Ford Focus and my Toyota Prius up there (although some people say I’m crazy).
I don’t recommend kings canyon for anyone with fear of heights! The roads are safe, but there are steep drops and switchbacks.
Explore my property and witness hummingbird migrations. They fly here from Mexico.
If you’re unsure about access, or anything else, please message me prior to booking and I’ll give you my honest assessment.

The closest trailhead in RMNP is 10 miles, the next trailhead at Wild Basin entrance to the park is 13 miles, and the Beaver Meadows entrance (main entrance) is 36 miles. Rocky Mountain National Park has breathtaking drives, easy strolls with interpretive signs, and 360 miles of trails. (Advance reservation required for entry 9:00 am to 3:00 pm for main park, or 5:00 am to 6:00 pm for Bear Lake corridor.)
Indian Peaks Wilderness also has several nearby access points and trailheads. Ask Dot for details.
The charming town of Lyons is 20 minutes away with coffee shops, restaurants, bars, lots of great live music, and quaint shops. Also, Spirit Hound Distillery received the award for the #1, Best Whiskey in the World in 2022, hmmm, it might be worth a tasting!
Due to our popularity reservations often fill up quickly. We suggest you make your reservations in advance especially if you have a group to rent the entire camp. At times there are last minute cancelations which allows for last minute openings.

We live on 6.5 acres of stunning forested land located 1000 feet above downtown Boulder. Our property rests on a peninsula with views of the white-capped peaks to the west and the city lights to the east. Vista Tranquila, the name given to our property by its previous owners, has trails to meander, picnic tables, horseshoes, swings hanging from the trees, a competitive-level trampoline, benches with views, and hammocks.
The communal food prep area has a gas grill, a table for food prep, and a seating area. We request that guests pack out all trash. Since we do not provide stoves, pans, utensils, or cleanup facilities, please bring paper towels to wipe off your stoves, pans, dishes, and utensils.
A well-maintained portable flush toilet is provided in a tall tent near the main residence.
A spigot can be found with fresh well water on the back side of the main residence. We do not offer showers. However, the Boulder Recreation Center (a 10-minute drive) offers showers and other facilities for a small fee.
You can enjoy a historic mining town experience with fine dining and live bluegrass/ folk music at the town of Gold Hill which is less than 20 minutes up our canyon.

Wind, bugs, and critters may all be a part of the variable treehouse experience mother nature has planned for you. Nestled in a private canyon just 20 minutes from Fort Collins, this 5-star RV stay offers the perfect escape.
Don’t worry about rv parks, dump stations, and utilities. It’s all taken care of for you, nestled on a custom dug terrace overlooking my private canyon. Sunrises and sunsets are a dream!
This RV is parked for you, set, and ready to enjoy. City water is on site via a 250 gallon fresh water tank (I fill it for each visitor). I also take care of the sewage and grey tanks for every visitor.
This is an off grid property, with all the amenities you need. There is no cell service, but I have you covered. Starlink satellite is on site, and gives you super fast, high speed connection.
Enjoy 20 acres of wildflowers, quiet nights, and stunning canyon views. Firewood is provided for your camp fire, in either of the two fire pits just steps from the rv. A nearby shed also offers a place for luggage, trash storage, etc and gives you more room in the rv.
The RV is solar-powered with a backup diesel generator. and fully equipped for comfort. It has a queen size bed, two bunk beds, and a convertible dining table that makes into another full sized bed. Sleep 5 in comfort.
Adventure nearby: fish the Poudre River (10 minutes) or catch live music at Mishawaka Amphitheater (20 minutes).

Kings Canton is tucked away, and access isn’t too bad. I have spent 8 years rebuilding the road for access by most vehicles. Four wheel drive is recommended just in case, but not necessary. The private road has loose gravel in spots. Most SUVs can access. I have had my Ford Focus and my Toyota Prius up there (although some people say I’m crazy).
I don’t recommend kings canyon for anyone with fear of heights! The roads are safe, but there are steep drops and switchbacks.
Explore my property and witness hummingbird migrations. They fly here from Mexico.
If you’re unsure about access, or anything else, please message me prior to booking and I’ll give you my honest assessment.

This land is beautiful, the lodge even better. But what made it all worth it was the reassurance that everything was going to work out. I had constant communication with Cesar as we had been travelling 18 hrs from Houston Texas. They made everything easy, asking questions and being patient. The lodge was stocked with necessities and even provided a grill, propane, a boot brush and even more two sources of heat. We were able to chop our own wood as well as purchase them from Cesar. It was all worth the drive and made my husband's and I anniversary exciting.

Weekend Trip to The Bluebear at Y Double-K Ranch
Cabin was very quaint and beautiful. Located in a very quiet area where we could just disconnect from everything for a few nights. It was exactly what we needed. We were very fortunate with the weather in December and will definitely have to come back!! Thank you for everything and an amazing quiet, relaxing weekend!

Weekend Trip to A-Lodge Boulder
Deer came right down to the Lodge, plenty of creature comforts in the kitchen, jacuzzi tub, hot tub, with wifi and central heat. Everything was clean and nicely decorated. Trailhead on site for a good hike, or another right across the hwy. King Suite was spacious, check in was easy, be ready for an extra deposit fee.

Top tier stay. The view is spectacular and the cabin was really complete feeling for the size of it. We would definitely come back and recommend it to others. We bumped into the owner and he seemed like a very nice guy too!
The wood stove brought us much joy and inspired many ideas.

Weekend Trip to Silent "P" Ranch
The property was extremely beautiful and Shannon was very kind, friendly and accommodating. The wagon was charming and the decor was very inviting. There was even a friendly farm cat that came and said hello to us! The trip felt magical overall. Wonderful hosts, wonderful scenery, and very welcoming.

With kids
We had such a wonderful greeting from Sara’s grazing sheep, her dog Yogi and her cat Salty. It took only minutes for my son to join her daughter on the family’s swing-set.
We had intended to “glamp” somewhere close to Estes Park, and the Burro fit the bill! The tiny space heater made the camper cozy on the cold nights, and we had access to her walk-in basement restroom and shower (even if we opted not to shower because we like to “rough it” on camping trips).
After a day of hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park, my 8-year-old could not wait to “get back to the farm”, and spend time with all the animals. Sara’s daughter Rose even treated my son to a riding lesson on a pony for a very reasonable price.
We also enjoyed the nearby creek just at the back of her property and an excellent recommendation to a nearby park.
Additional perk is that my little loved to pet the animals in the morning while I was getting breakfast or dinner ready. Always something to do at this beautiful location!

Weekend Trip to Creekside Paradise
Shawn did a great job making sure we were fully prepared for our time at the Yurt. Falling asleep to the sounds of the creek couldn’t be beat. A great way to spend our nights after fall hiking in the area.

2 nights at Gold Nugget Tree House
The treehouse is quaint and cozy and wonderfully set up to enjoy the trees and views. We had a surprise snow and were still warm and cozy using the heater to start the night and the comfortable bed did the rest. And we woke up to the beautiful snow in the trees! The town is historic and Forest walks were great. We loved the candle light

2 nights at Gold Nugget Tree House
Jessica’s treehouse was very quaint and cozy. It was raining when we got there and in the nighttime it snowed! We kept warm ! Heating up the treehouse and then piled in the blankets. It was a great 68th birthday!
The candles were so fun and the chairs comfortable. We strolled around town on a foggy day. Hiking st Caribou ranch was spectacular and golden.

The little bear or Blue bear is a very nice cozy place to stay. It has all essential things to make your stay comfortable and a remembering one. It is very peaceful and easy to reach. Plus cesar is very nice person and always responsive to your needs. Already planning for the next one at Blue/little bear.
