We provide an off-grid retreat experience for our guests, and a chance to reconnect with nature and find inner peace. Our 6-acre property offers stunning mountain views of the Mt. Blanca range and access to a variety of outdoor activities, including fishing, paddleboarding, and hiking. We are conveniently located near the Great Sand Dunes National Park and Zapata Falls and aim to provide a secluded space to relax and rejuvenate. Here, guests can feel the sacred energy of the land, surrounded by the healing properties of sage and quartz. We invite you to come and explore our grounds, and reconnect with your higher self.Our modern off-grid tiny home is the perfect place to relax and unwind, surrounded by the beauty of nature. Privacy is yours among our secluded 6 acres. The Louie Lodge includes two generous-sized lofts, a kitchen, a bathroom with a stand-in shower, a composting toilet, and little creature comforts – including a wood-burning stove and fireplace in the main loft. Each loft is furnished with a comfortable queen-sized bed.. The cozy living area boasts a pull-out sofa bed that sleeps two additional smaller guests 5'10 or shorter at no extra cost. Enjoy grilling out and watching the weather come in on our generous 12x16-foot deck while taking in the gorgeous mountain views. This is a 100% off-grid unit so water is limited but easily replenished. Just close enough to get to the town of Fort Garland quickly for any forgotten essentials but big enough to wander freely the 6-acre site. The Louie Lodge retreat is perfect for couples, families, and friends who want to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and reconnect with the natural world. Sorry, the stay does not include our sweet pup Louie 💕 *** Please note that in the winter months, the shower and sinks are not operational due to freezing temperatures in the pipes. The drainage pipes are operational once the tiny home is heated up. (You can pour water/liquids down the sinks). For longer stays (4+ days) where temperatures can be managed indoors, water pipes can be fully functional.

Stay Here!!!

I loved staying here! The tiny home was beautiful, the bed was incredibly comfy, and the view!!! The home had everything I needed and more. Information was very direct and thorough, and Catori was very prompt on replying! I will be staying here again for sure! :)

Beautiful slice of solitude

This was my first stop on a solo road trip, one I wanted to spend time reflecting and relaxing. Catori VI's camp was absolutely perfect for this. The off grid cabin is nestled away and a small spot away from the sights and sounds of the modern world. The seclusion is amazing. The place is warm, giving the feeling of staying at a friend's house while they are away. Sitting down on the couch, lighting a fire, and reading while looking out at Blanca Peak was amazing. This an amazingly cozy and comfortable location that I highly recommend and hope to come back to again. With the two lofts, there is ample room for 4 folks, if needed. But, for me, this would be an excellent spot for a couples weekend where you want to slow things down, take a breath, and enjoy each other. The camp setup is well documented. This is not a hotel destination, it's a camp, so you'll need to help take care of the place while you're there. From the composting toilet, to the power setup, there's items you'll need to do (including cleaning up before you go). I like doing these things as it helps keep the costs lower and it allows me to give back to the space that sheltered me. Lastly, Catori Vi is an excellent host. The communication was great, checking in to make sure I understood everything and had everything I needed. I felt their care for me and their place and new I could reach out with anything I needed. Thank you.

Off Grid Comfort

This "tiny house" lives large. Beautiful inside, with outrageous views of Blanca Peak across the valley, we really enjoyed our stay here. Catori was always available for any questions we had and was super helpful all around. We'll be back for a summer or fall trip for sure!
