CAMP CATORI - OFF-GRID IN SACRED NATURE At Camp Catori, we offer an immersive off-grid retreat where you can reconnect with yourself and the land. Set on six sacred acres with sweeping views of the Mt. Blanca Range, our space blends mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness—with a little adventure and fun. Just 30 minutes from the Great Sand Dunes and Zapata Falls, guests can enjoy hiking, fishing, paddleboarding, or simply unwinding. Whether visiting solo, with friends, or hosting a retreat, Camp Catori invites you to slow down, breathe deep, and come home to yourself. ESSENTIALS TO KNOW THIS IS CAMPING - Although we have fabulous amenities for a comfortable experience, this is camping. If you are not a camper do not book. This is not an AIRBNB. Not toddler friendly. OFF-GRID WATER: No well or septic. If you chose the option of running water, six 5-gallon jugs provided to fill nearby. The tank holds 35 gallons. Monitor usage; do not drop below 1/4 full or it may damage the pump. Showers use 1.75 gal/min. Camp style rinse off showers. (Dry cabin Nov–May; no running water during freeze months) TOILET USE: Composting toilet. All guests must watch a 2-minute video and follow instructions. Violation of cabin rules or failure to discard urine in the designated spot incurs a $150 fee. If you’re not comfortable doing this, this may not be the right fit SLEEPING and KITCHEN BEDS: Queen loft, convertible queen second loft (or 2 twins), pull-out sofa (5'10" max). Bring your own sheets or sleeping bags. Pillows and blankets provided KITCHEN: Fridge/freezer, Wonderoven, coffee makers (Nespresso, French press, Italian), all-in-one steamer pan, Dutch oven, propane stove, grill, corkscrew, cooking/eating utensils, plates/bowls, knifes, indoor table (2), outdoor table (6–7), and mountain-view ledge seating (2) INTERNET Hotspot via Solis ($10/day) or use your mobile phone—works well for basic use and streaming MISC: HUGE newly expanded deck, chimenea, telescope, umbrella, outdoor grill, outdoor buckets for washing, TV's, propane heater, fireplace, electric heater, yoga mats (2), extra blankets, binoculors, games Group Camping and Retreats Three cleared campsites (4x4 required) Great for group camping or hosting retreats Contact Catori: 720-474-0779Our modern off-grid tiny home is the perfect place to relax and unwind, surrounded by the beauty of nature. Privacy is yours among our secluded 6 acres. The Louie Lodge includes two generous-sized lofts, a kitchen, a bathroom with a stand-in shower, a composting toilet, and little creature comforts – including a wood-burning stove and an electric fireplace in the main loft. Each loft is furnished with super comfortable beds. Enjoy grilling out and watching the weather come in on our generous deck while taking in the gorgeous mountain views. 30 minutes to the Great Sand Dunes and many other cool spots nearby. We are 100% off-grid. There is no well or septic system. For running water we provide 6 (5) gallon jugs to fill nearby and the tank under the sink for $1 per container. $6-$7 bucks fill the tank that holds 35 gallons. It’s easy and has plenty of water when used conservatively. The shower uses 1.75 gallons per minute so make it fast if you decide to shower. Please DO NOT allow the tank to fall below 1/4 as it will break the water pump thus creating an expensive repair. You’ll be able to see the water line to monitor usage. The composting toilet is easy to use. All parties must watch a 2-minute video and agree to use it properly. You must monitor the urine bucket and discard it accordingly. Liquid in the composting bin or using or placing paper or products where it is not allowed will result in a $150 cleaning fee. This is a beloved family cabin and not an Airbnb. If you are not willing to discard a bucket of your own urine in a designated spot by the cabin this place is not for you. The primary loft has a comfortable queen-size bed, 4 pillows, and a comforter. The second loft has two twin beds placed together to create a queen-size but can be taken apart. There are also 4 pillows and one queen-size comforter. The sofa is a pull-out that can sleep another small person (5’10 or shorter). Like camping, you must bring your sheets or sleeping bags. If you're coming from afar and can't bring your sheets please let me know and can accommodate. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge/freezer, a Wonderoven, a classic Nespresso machine, a French press, an Italian press, a frother, a Tramontina all-in-one pan with a steamer grate (great for cooking fish), a medium-sized Dutch oven for the stove (soups, sauces), griddle, utensils, knives, plates, and cooking and grilling utensils. We have a propane stove, outdoor grill and an eat-in kitchen for 2, a table outside that seats 6 to 7 people as well as a 2-person outdoor ledge looking out at the mountains. An internet hotspot is available for $10 per day via Solis. We also use our mobile phone hotspot which usually does the trick for both laptop work and watching TV. NOTE: From November through May, the cabin is dry with no running water due to freezing temperatures. We will have closures in winter depending on weather and other conditions. GROUP CAMPING OR A RETREAT? In addition to the cabin we also have 3 generously sized cleared camping spots each with gorgeous mountain views making it a great option for group camping (4x4 vehicle required to access) or to host a retreat.
