The time house on Daryl and Cindy’s land was a perfect little home away from home! They were so warm and inviting, and made us feel very welcome (and wanted)! We loved feeling like we were out in the middle of nowhere but still having a comfortable place to call home base. We would love to come back here again.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay here. Darryl and Cindy went above and beyond with all the details and we would love to come back. Clean, secluded, beautiful views, and the tiny house has everything you need. Highly recommend!!

What a wonderful place! Daryl and Cindy greeted us when we arrived and were so sweet. The place was perfect for our overnight. A super comfortable bed, snacks and treats if we wanted them, and many amenities to keep us cozy during our stay. When we woke up in the morning, we enjoyed coffee under the tree-zebo. The propriety the stunning and the hosts went above and beyond. Definitely recommend! We’ll be back!

I had a great experience glamping in Daryl's tiny home! The cozy accommodations provided all the comforts I needed while immersing myself in nature. Running water, wifi (which allowed me to get some work done.), small fridge, toaster oven, etc. Definitely not "roughing it", but a nice way to get away from the city.
One of the highlights was its proximity to the Great Sand Dunes National Park, a little over 30 minutes away. Alamosa was also a similar distance away. The warm hospitality of the hosts made my stay even more delightful, as they offered great recommendations for activities and attractions in the area.
I recommend spending some time outside in the evening just gazing at the starry sky. It's amazing. I will consider this place again next time I stay in the area. It's incredibly accessible to places in southern Colorado and northern New Mexico.

I can’t say enough positive things about this stay! We arrived fairly late in the night (10pm) and Daryl and his wife stayed up to welcome us! We truly felt like family meeting them, and they were so accommodating to us and our dogs. We left early (7am) to head to the sand dunes and it was an easy 40ish minute drive there. The space itself is just the most ideal “tiny home”. The bed and pillows were super comfortable and there was a mini couch we turned into a dog bed by laying the blankets we brought on top of it! There’s also a little dining table outside under the trees with string lights hanging and I wish we could of sat there and drank wine another night! Also make sure to have your camera ready because the stars at night and the mountains in the morning are worth capturing!!! When we were driving away in the morning my husband and I both said we wish we had more time at this space. Definitely worth the visit!

The Moore Chaparral is the perfect glamping experience in the San Luis Valley of Costilla County , Colorado. Surrounded by rolling hills, mountain peaks and ranges this picturesque setting is great for taking a break from the rat race while exploring the wide open spaces and dainty western towns of southern central Colorado.
The tiny home is so comfortable and all the added extra special touches the host provide make this glamping experience a feeling of ". Home Sweet Home" . Plenty of privacy for rest and relaxation! The Moore Chaparral should never have a reservation available, this place is wonderful, book it and book often.
Staying at the Moore Chaparral will also afford Bird Lover's/ Watcher's the opportunity to add some birds to your life list. We saw mountain swift's, Ravens, chickadees, magpies, and a hummingbird came to the petunias in the hanging basket on the porch.
The Moore Chaparral has so many special touches, the host put a lot of effort into making your stay as comfortable as possible and we felt a peaceful feeling upon arriving and departing.

Had an excellent time on our stay. The tiny house was really nice and comfortable with everything you need(Bathroom, shower, kitchenette). The owners were very friendly and accommodating to our needs. The property itself offers great Mountain View’s and is a star gazers paradise. Will definitely stay again!

The views from Daryl's place was amazing. His cabin was just as expected. Daryl and his wife met us as we arrived and showed us things about the cabin which proved to be helpful. They have an awesome knowledge about the area and are more than willing to help with any questions or suggestions. They are super dog friendly which is a huge plus for us.

Our stay at Moore Chapparell was perfect! Our hosts are very hospitable and are there to help you with all your needs. Our pup was able to stay with us which is always a plus. The property is centrally located, only minutes into the town of Fort Garland. We spent the morning exploring the area and had time for an early dinner in Toas! We enjoyed every part of our stay and we will be back.

Perfect spot for a stay by the dunes. The hosts were friendly and even provided snacks for us and treats for my pup. The house is just as it looks and we were very comfortable. I will add the hosts main house is on the property in sight but we didn’t see them once after arriving.
