The clamping Cabin sits behind the horse arena and in front of Tongue Creek. It's the cutest little cabin and we mean little, more like an expertly finished big shed. It is 10x14 with a 3x14 covered porch but finished inside like a 5 star hotel. AC, TV, Wifi, fireplace, comfortable queen size bed. Beetle kill tongue and groove ceiling, cultured barn wood wanes coating. It's super nice. The ranch itself may be the reason for the "glamp" booking. The yard is manicured and the 25 house, goats and chickens are fun to see. The big plus is we are only 20 minutes away from the Grand Mesa outdoorsman mecca. This is probably the cheapest base camp to the Mesa. The ranch is a great base camp to wineries, Moab, Telluride, Black Canyon of the Gunnison, fishing, boating, hiking, trails and hundreds of open BLM land for Razor riding. Check us out.

We had an absolute blast with Cindie! the yurts were so nice, Cindie was so attentive and always had great reccs for what to do/eat in town. The wine tasting was stellar. Zen Zen gardens is a paonia gem and we hope this becomes a landmark for the community. By far the most fun we’ve had in a while

4 nights at Stay in Grace: Wine-Country Retreat

Grace is a sweet glamping option. The view from the breakfast table was lovely, the decor appealing and it was clean. It had everything we needed to make meals and wash dishes. The bed was comfortable. The furnace, electric stove and small heater for the bedroom made cool nights comfortable. Paonia is beautiful! The drive to Crested Butte from here is amazing!!! Karina was very communicative with clear instructions before our trip and was quick to respond to our requests. If you've never used a composting toilet before, it's an adjustment but it's a good option for glamping. The shower had hot water and enough pressure. I would stay here again.

Pictures do not do this place justice! The river is directly behind the tent, so it was perfect to fall asleep to the sound of the water! Community kitchen area has everything you need from seasonings, a grill, even a super neat pizza oven! 100000% recommend this gem of a place. There’s even a trail to walk to downtown if you’re feeling up to it!

This is one of our favorite places to glamp. It’s nice to not have to pack dishes, cookware, etc. There’s a great setup to cook. Sway in the hammocks after breakfast. The beds inside the teepees are so comfy. The host is incredibly kind.

The glamping experience at ZenZen gardens is nothing short of magical. The views are gorgeous, flowers adorn the property, and the tent is comfortable & cute. Our dog absolutely loved being able to hang out on the property with other pups. We did the wine tasting and enjoyed the veranda which were additional pluses! Paonia is also a gem with a surprisingly amazing food scene and lots of things to see and do. We visited many local wineries (all charming) and made a day trip to Crested Butte. Perfect weekend!

1 night at Old Moon Acres Tipi Haven

One night wasn't enough.. What a sanctuary. Clean, green, so so peaceful, relaxing. I booked a second night in the deer 🦌 Tipi. Loved the solar bag showers, loved loved the views, and the private mini hike. Love that we could take our dogs because lots of places do not. Our dogs were in heaven. Highly highly recommend this sanctuary.

We absolutely loved our time here! Beautiful, private, and plenty of room to wander with the dog. Tanya and Stacy are amazingly friendly and accommodating; we would definitely stay again if we were ever going to be in the area.

1 night at Zenzen Gardens

When we walked through the gate, I knew this was going to be an epic experience! The grounds are exceptionally beautiful with flower gardens, butterflies and beautiful views as the sun was setting. We sat on the patio under the cool mist that offset the heat of the day. We drank wine and laughed along side Cindie while her beautiful dog Ginger chased butterflies…and literally smiled the whole time! It was like ‘living poetry’. What a perfect way to end a day of traveling through the mountains:)

Our stay at old moon acres was awesome! We all had a blast and especially our kids. Stacy was very accommodating to our needs and helping us out from the very beginning. She is very nice and takes good care of her guests. It was a nice get away from the city. It is very kid friendly and a nice place to take the family. The place is very clean and it was a nice experience sleeping in a Tipi. Has a nice view of the mountains, a nice little spot to cook with everything provided and a nice fire pit to have a camp fire at night. Also not too far away are some fishing spots and a small town Crawford for whatever you might need. I would definitely recommend this place it was a nice stay 10/10 for us.

Great stay! The tent was exactly as described, there was even a mini swamp cooler to help keep the temperature down. The neighborhood deer named Alfred came by to visit a few times. Would stay again.
