Hosted by Glenn, Kate, Pavie, RuRu and our hands, PR Ranch is a gorgeous property located in the beautiful San Juan Valley. The Ranch has over 2 1/2 miles of private trout stream running through, for fly fishing. Available rentals include a large main cabin bedroom/bath, 2 bedroom bunkhouse and 3 private riverfront campsites. Free Firewood Learn more about this land: Located on a large working cattle ranch . Serenity is guaranteed at the bunkhouse in an Aspen Grove near the paddock with fire pit. It's a lovely private setting, but not far from the main cabin and the river. Shooters, you've found your spot. There are long and short gun ranges on the ranch. The 3 campsites are private and located directly on the river, each with its own fire pit and free firewood. Miles of hiking trails without leaving the property, and the National Forest is located 2 miles up the road for further adventures. Fly fishing for stocked rainbow trout on the premises! Seven separate reaches guarantee an exclusive expierience. Professional fishing guides are available by appointment. All inclusive fishing packages upon request.

The ranch is in the gorgeous San Luis valley not far from Sand Dunes National Park. Convenient to Monte Vista and Alamosa for breweries, restaurants and groceries. Take it easy at this unique cabin, reminiscent of Yellowstone! Located on the famous PR Ranch surrounded by national forest in the San Juan Valley. Great for family gatherings. Dogs love the ranch! Large deck for meals or morning coffee. Relax with a cold one there or by the fire pit. Cannabis-friendly. Enjoy fly-fishing on two mile private stretch of river that flows through the ranch and shooting on our private range. Great hiking throughout the ranch. The space Updated super-comfortable cabin-style accommodation. The cabin is attached to the ranch owner’s quarters but has it's own entrance. Cabin highlights: Master suite with queen bed and ensuite bath. Big living/dining room with sofa bed, television, fireplace and full bath. Large fully-equipped kitchen. Guest amenities include coffee, espresso and tea plus staples like cream and sugar. In Colorado, life revolves around the outdoors and the wraparound deck is the perfect place to enjoy lunch or a glass of wine. At night, you can enjoy s'mores at the fire pit. Everyone is welcome and accepted here. Horse and dog-friendly. Large paddock directly in front of the cabin. Guest access Bring your friends for the weekend! PR Ranch is ideal for large and small gatherings. Recently, a group of friends rented out all of the cabins and campsites and had a blast enjoying the outdoors and the accommodations. PR Ranch has multiple Airbnb listings, including another cabin (sleeps 6) and 3 river-front campsites with fire pits. Other things to note Ranch Experiences (optional): Fly Fishing ($25 per person per day on private stocked river) Perfect your skills on the river that cuts through the property. Enjoy the great outdoors and catch rainbow trout. New to fly-fishing? Instruction is available. Dinner Experience ($75 per person, Children under 12 eat free) The rancher is a classically-trained chef. His barbecue sauce is legendary. Wonderful barbeque dinner available by prior arrangement.

Beautiful setting in an Aspen grove across from a tranquil paddock. Short distance to the main house and Alamosa river. BRAND NEW cabin with charming ranch decor! Plenty of room for 4-5 people and their dogs! Enjoy your coffee on the deck before a day of hiking or fly fishing on the property. Or just relax. Lots of space to chill, inside and out! Cannabis-friendly. Cabin with 2 bedrooms, living room, full bath & kitchenette. Charming ranch style decor! Fire pit, free firewood. Bunkhouse guests have access to the hot tub and to the large wrap-around deck on the main cabin that houses the large Weber Grill. The Alamosa River is right down the path.

This spot is absolutely gorgeous and everything we had hoped and more. The hosts and ranch hands are wonderful people and my entire group thoroughly enjoyed chatting with them. They were very accommodating, even lending us an air mattress when one of ours had a hole. There was always firewood at our camp and they were always available to help us with anything we needed. I will absolutely be staying here again and I wish we could have stayed longer. The camp is private, spacious, and quiet. There is so much land to explore around the site and the cows that visited us in the morning made it even more special. I highly recommend staying at Glenn and Kate’s ranch!

The ranch was exactly what we needed for our group that camped on the river. Glenn was very responsive and quite hospitable while we were there. I wouldn't change a thing. The owls at night put on quite a display for us.

This is a little secret I hate to let people know about. We were the only ones camping this week. We had the entire place to ourselves. We ran into the owner and 2 ranch hands a couple of times, but besides that we were all alone. The owner and ranch hands were extremely nice. The fly fishing was top notch. I fished for 3 days and caught 15-18 inch trout every day. The river was maintained very well. We were here the first week of October and the colors of the trees was unbelievable. My wife wanted seclusion, river, and colors. I wanted fly fishing. We got everything we both wanted. I want to visit this ranch again.

Beautiful spot on the river! County rd next to it but is rarely used. I did have some families of Amish drive by in horse and buggy. Good fishing. River was low but I managed a handful over a day and a half, one 18”. Height of leaves changing and so colors were amazing. Great hosts. Provide all firewood too!

Campsite 1 Fly fish in the river
We stayed at site#1. It was truly one of the most amazing sites we’ve stayed at, and we’ve stayed at several. Glenn’s ranch is about 20 min from Monte Vista. The Alamosa River cuts through much of it. Site #1 sits right off of the road, which is no big deal because there is very little traffic that comes through that county road. The site is big and flat with plenty of shade. Sits directly on the river with a nice shallow wading area. My husband enjoyed lots of fly fishing & caught several fish. There are 2 nice fire pits & a grate. Glenn was very accommodating & communication was easy. We enjoyed meeting him & learning about the area & ranch. Hope to be back again sometime. I suspect my husband will look him up to come back to stay on the ranch & flyfish someday:)
