We have a beautiful hobby farm on 2 and a half acres. Camping is at the front of the property where you will find vegie gardens and fruit trees. There is also a fire pit (plenty of firewood available), a trampoline and a games shed with toilet, shower and kitchenette facilities. Yes we live on the property and the campsite is in the front yard, however we do not infringe on your space at your campsite or the amenities area - these are yours and yours only whilst camping here. Being a hobby farm we have livestock in a paddock in the backyard. If you would like to join us for feeding in the afternoons please ask on arrival. Feeding happens between 4 and 6pm depending on time of year. We also have chickens that free range around the campsite at the front of the property who will happily take any of your scraps.

communication, and we are also only 18km from Gin Gin and
around 50km from Bundaberg.

For your convenience, our well-equipped camp kitchen includes a fridge, toaster, kettle, electric frypan, and microwave, along with all the necessary cutlery and crockery. Please remember to clean up after using the kitchen to keep it welcoming for everyone.
In the kitchen area you will also find a pool table and dart board and arcade game for your use.
If you choose to bring your horse you will find stabling or yards under Extras as begin your booking. The cost can be seen as you view the sites. The stables are rubber floored, meaning you use minimal sawdust therefore minimal dust. They are equipped with automatic waterers and feed bins. The yards are separated so that the horses can't reach each other from one yard to the other. Please ensure these areas are cleaned before you leave. There are rakes and wheelbarrows provided near the arena and at the end of the stables for your convenience.
Our sites are best suited to self contained camping but there is shower and toilet availability on the property. There is a dump site situated in Crescent St Childers

Keep in mind from December to March we have hot, rainy summers. For the adventurous campers who use swags/tents, we suggest a stretcher and a gazebo with walls for a little comfort. Some areas need 4wd also.

Be mindful around all animals as they get to know you, be smart please. Kids can bring bikes, must be supervised at all times, no screaming or running.
Pets are welcome, we have 2 dogs Jesse and Cane, who are both very friendly. Our Maremma is an Italian breed of livestock gaurdian dog, he does bark a little at night to protect our pets, which goes hand in hand with all of our other farm noises 😉
Our Neighbours have fish farms, you may hear the odd gun go off, just to scare the shags away from feeding in the ponds. It's totally safe.
Feel free to put on some music and have a few drinks by the campfire, but we want our farm to be a place where our animals and our guests feel safe and relaxed, so we do not accommodate noisy parties.
Relax and unwind with a book or go for a bush walk and listen to the kookaburras. Watch Sea Eagles, pelican, wild budgies, rainbow lorikeet and more. All your cares will feel like they are a million miles away as you soak up nature, we guarantee you will have an amazing experience.

If you choose to bring your horse you will find stabling or yards under Extras as begin your booking. The cost can be seen as you view the sites. The stables are rubber floored, meaning you use minimal sawdust therefore minimal dust. They are equipped with automatic waterers and feed bins. The yards are separated so that the horses can't reach each other from one yard to the other. Please ensure these areas are cleaned before you leave. Our Neighbours have fish farms, you may hear the odd gun go off, just to scare the shags away from feeding in the ponds. It's totally safe.
Feel free to put on some music and have a few drinks by the campfire, but we want our farm to be a place where our animals and our guests feel safe and relaxed, so we do not accommodate noisy parties.
Relax and unwind with a book or go for a bush walk and listen to the kookaburras. Watch Sea Eagles, pelican, wild budgies, rainbow lorikeet and more. All your cares will feel like they are a million miles away as you soak up nature, we guarantee you will have an amazing experience.

We are a family built and run property set amongst tropical gardens on 15 acres with a pretty small private lake and swimming pool.
Our communal building has lots of power points, hot showers, flushing toilets, free Wifi, pool table, BBQ and dining areas.
We are PET FRIENDLY, and dogs must remain on leads or runs whilst on the property. Please note that animals are not permitted in any of the undercover common areas or swimming pool enclosure. We are a short 2 minute drive to the new Agnes Central shopping center, 5 minutes to Agnes Water town centre and local beaches, and a 15 minute drive to the beautiful town of 1770.

Experience the bespoke bushland boardwalk, meandering along a carefully chosen path and inviting you to tune into a natural harmony of bird calls, rustling leaves and gentle breezes. The bushland boardwalk can be accessed by wheelchairs and prams, and our spacious undercover BBQ Area offers a generous space for shade, rest and wildlife observations.

We have 33 acres that we have been working on for the last 15 months to try and create our own slice of freedom.
We have the goal of becoming as self sufficient as possible and currently we are producing a large amount of our own food. We have a massive array of animals and always are having new additions, which is always exciting. We are open to people coming to just experience what we have created or even getting their hands dirty. We have learnt so much coming here and are happy to pass on what ever knowledge that we have gained but also open to learn from you all too.
We are located about 40mins from Agnes Water and are super connected to the amazing Agnes community. We have a couple of areas that power can be tapped into and also a second outside bathroom that is welcomed to be used.

If you are looking for a peaceful escape then come and experience our 60 acres of beautiful riverfront bliss. Bring your paddle boards, boats, kayaks and bikes to enjoy all the area has to offer. We have a private pontoon for you to enjoy. The property also has lovely walking tracks to explore and fire pits guests are welcome to use.Howard township only 3 km away and we are just 35 minutes from Hervey Bay. Our other property is only a short walk away so we will be able to help with anything if you need it. All guests must be self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Leave no trace. We do have a few cows so dogs to be on a leash at night and please don’t let them chase the cows.Fire pits available to use, collect your own fire wood.

What a brilliant hipcamp that's recently opened. Jess was super friendly, the grounds are amazing and the dam is gorgeous. This place will get super busy as more people find out about it. Get in while it's still only $22! I would stay here again and maybe for a few nights next time. Unfortunately I was only passing through for a night!

We had an amazing time at Jess’s farm! It was my daughter’s birthday, so some of us camped overnight while others joined us for the day to celebrate.
The kids absolutely loved being able to interact freely with the beautiful guinea pigs, ducks, goats, pigs, and chickens. There was also a playground to keep them entertained, along with plenty of activities set up for us to enjoy-tug of war was definitely a favourite!
When they weren’t with the animals, the kids were off kayaking, fishing (hoping to catch a barra for the chance to win three free nights!), or exploring the dam. In the evenings, we gathered around the fire to enjoy a delicious roast dinner and toasted marshmallows, which made it even more special.
Jess was a wonderful host-she generously took the time to show us around her nursery, explaining the plants and their uses in Vietnam. We all found it fascinating and learned so much.
We truly didn’t want to leave and could have stayed much longer! We’ll definitely be back, even if it’s just for day trips before our next extended stay.
Thank you so much, Jess, Andrew, and family-this was an unforgettable birthday celebration and camping trip. We can’t wait to return!

Haven't been camping in years. This place was easy to find and everybody was respectful. We would have been a funny sight to watch trying to set everything up as we're pretty much beginners, so took a lot of goes to get it right but we managed 🤣 firewood was easy access and plenty of it. We loved being greeted by the cows, they were pretty amusing and curious animals 😂 anyway, we will definitely be back to perfect our camping techniques/skills! Thankyou!

What a beautiful peaceful spot. We were camped by the creek rather than the river in a gorgeous spot that was really quiet and private. It was a wet weekend, but we just enjoyed the serenity. Lots of life to watch in the creek with fish, turtles and I spotted one of the platypus. Even with all the rain, access was no problem. Lachlan was delightful when leading us to our site, and Jennifer was really friendly when she dropped by for a chat. We’ll definitely be going back in the future.

This camping spot is an absolute gem. The peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect place to switch off and unwind. The dam was maintained and ideal for enjoying a paddle on the kayaks or a refreshing swim. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Fire pits and firewood were available upon request. There was also the added option of a Vietnamese cooking class when booing to stay for a small extra fee. If you’re budget conscious and looking for serenity, nature and genuine hospitality, this place delivers it all. Highly recommended.
