Keep in mind from December to March we have hot, rainy summers. For the adventurous campers who use swags/tents, we suggest a stretcher and a gazebo with walls for a little comfort. Some areas need 4wd also.

Be mindful around all animals as they get to know you, be smart please. Kids can bring bikes, must be supervised at all times, no screaming or running.
Pets are welcome, we have 2 dogs Jesse and Cane, who are both very friendly. Our Maremma is an Italian breed of livestock gaurdian dog, he does bark a little at night to protect our pets, which goes hand in hand with all of our other farm noises 😉
Our Neighbours have fish farms, you may hear the odd gun go off, just to scare the shags away from feeding in the ponds. It's totally safe.
Feel free to put on some music and have a few drinks by the campfire, but we want our farm to be a place where our animals and our guests feel safe and relaxed, so we do not accommodate noisy parties.
Relax and unwind with a book or go for a bush walk and listen to the kookaburras. Watch Sea Eagles, pelican, wild budgies, rainbow lorikeet and more. All your cares will feel like they are a million miles away as you soak up nature, we guarantee you will have an amazing experience.
6 Kms in at our historic Childers there is a Woolworths, IGA, great pubs for lunch, cafes and bakeries, plus a swimming pool, museum, snakes down under and Woodgate beach 25 mins away.

We are 20 minutes from the quaint Childers Township and 50 minutes from Bundaberg.
The property is totally private and caravans cannot been seen from the road, the owners live on the property and only booked guests are to enter the property offering security and peace of mind.
Whether you want to bird watch, kayak, fish (catch and release only), hike or ride one of the many trails or sit, relax and
read your favourite book, we promise a warm welcome; from the wildlife and the proprietors Tracie and Jimmy.
Dam Crazy is also pet friendly, dogs must be cleaned up after and may be walked off leash on the walking trails (please be mindful of other campers, farm animals and wildlife), they may also swim in the dam but must be contained or kept on leash in the campsite areas.
The dam is very deep and could have snags washed down in floods, so we suggest children wear life jackets, and MUST be supervised by adults at all times around the water.
Numbers are limited to ensure you have plenty of space and privacy!

Pets are welcome, we have 2 dogs Jesse and Cane, who are both very friendly. Our Maremma is an Italian breed of livestock gaurdian dog, he does bark a little at night to protect our pets, which goes hand in hand with all of our other farm noises 😉
Our Neighbours have fish farms, you may hear the odd gun go off, just to scare the shags away from feeding in the ponds. It's totally safe.
Feel free to put on some music and have a few drinks by the campfire, but we want our farm to be a place where our animals and our guests feel safe and relaxed, so we do not accommodate noisy parties.
Relax and unwind with a book or go for a bush walk and listen to the kookaburras. Watch Sea Eagles, pelican, wild budgies, rainbow lorikeet and more. All your cares will feel like they are a million miles away as you soak up nature, we guarantee you will have an amazing experience.
6 Kms in at our historic Childers there is a Woolworths, IGA, great pubs for lunch, cafes and bakeries, plus a swimming pool, museum, snakes down under and Woodgate beach 25 mins away.

We have a private 20 acres of shady land not far from the pretty town of Childers.
Our property features a spring-fed creek with fish. Bring your fishing rods as there is silver perch and perch for catch and release fishing only. The rest of the property features open grasslands and bush.
We are pet friendly, unpowered sites with access to a flushing portaloo toilet. Campers must have everything they need and leave no trace.
Just 20 minutes inland from the beautiful coastal beaches.
With flat and comfortable sites, this is a haven for anyone venturing to the Fraser Coast.
It's a 2 minute drive into town for supplies and where you can enjoy a range of pubs, cafes and shops.
Lots of things to do and see in the area including a bird park and the Snakes Down Under display.

Dam Crazy? You would have to be to bypass over 620 acres of scenic bushland off the beaten track for your next camping getaway or stopover on your way on the Bruce Highway. An abundance of birdlife with over 135 different species found so far including a Powerful Owl. A magnificent 400 megalitre dam that now forms part of the natural landscape of this unique property.
A hidden gem in the Wide Bay/Fraser Coast area of Queensland where relaxation, peace and privacy are unavoidable as are the sunsets and shooting stars in the clear skies above.
We are 20 minutes from the quaint Childers Township and 50 minutes from Bundaberg.
The property is totally private and caravans cannot been seen from the road, the owners live on the property and only booked guests are to enter the property offering security and peace of mind.
Whether you want to bird watch, kayak, fish (catch and release only), hike or ride one of the many trails or sit, relax and
read your favourite book, we promise a warm welcome; from the wildlife and the proprietors Tracie and Jimmy.
Dam Crazy is also pet friendly, dogs must be cleaned up after and may be walked off leash on the walking trails (please be mindful of other campers, farm animals and wildlife), they may also swim in the dam but must be contained or kept on leash in the campsite areas.
The dam is very deep and could have snags washed down in floods, so we suggest children wear life jackets, and MUST be supervised by adults at all times around the water.
Numbers are limited to ensure you have plenty of space and privacy!
Campers must take all waste with them.

We had a wonderful experience at Splitters Farm. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and there are lots of great amenities available. If you love animals and have kids, this is the perfect spot. It’s also very close to Bundaberg, which makes it even more convenient. Highly recommended

Neat, clean & tidy spot on the river. Good base for exploring the area. Pub up the road approx 800m serves fabulous meals. Fellow campers caught some fish 🎣 also!

Phenomenal spot. Very clean bathrooms, hot showers, and a river close by. I was able to truly relax watching the sunset by the campfire. Great customer service and the place is very well maintained. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay with Sarah, a beautiful spot next to the river. Plenty of grassed area to put up the camper trailer. Close to local attractions made day trips easy. The toilet and hot shower was definitely an added bonus. Our only comment is that we where not allowed to use our grass mat.
Great place to stay and we will be back.

We loved our stay at Breathe at Rules Beach.
Camp ground is located on top a small ridge with cool sea breezes & ovean views through the trees. Camp sites are large, flat & grassy with plenty of space between sites.
We originally booked five nights but stayed an extra 2 nights, loved the access to Mitchell creek perfect for Kayaks & small boats.
Would like to thank our host Camille she was allways very responsive and very helpfull.

Only stayed one night but loved it! Modern facilities with the bonus of friendly animals to feed. My daughter's favorite stop of our 3-week trip. The dump point placement at the exit was brilliant. Wish we could have stayed longer.

This is an absolute gem of a campground. The host - Sarah - is so helpful and friendly. The campground itself is beautiful. Lots of gorgeous grass and plenty of space. It is so tranquil next to the river. The toilets and shower were immaculate with really cute little signs. Butlic the frog made me giggle every time I went to the loo! IYKYK. I managed some beautiful runs around the area too, if you’re into that sort of thing! I would highly recommend this as a base camp to explore the Bundaberg region.
