1 acre in an eco village, bordering a lake, walks through the eco village and 350 acres bush land, 4 lakes and a stream. Kangaroos, Koala and platypus, betong, long nosed bandicoot habitat along with a myriad of birds, fish, goana. An easy walk can be had around all the lakes. The Park is in the process of establishing a wildlife refuge within the park. When its dry, its fine to set up camp anywhere. A tiny home has come onsite but is not yet set up or used so parking close is fine.

Tent sites can be closer to the lake and choices of position are available for tents with a half acre of open ground for recreation and the first lake visible through the trees 20 - 50 mtrs away. A short walk to compost toilet and outdoor tent shower. When you're quiet kangaroos will come in close, even within 2 or 3 mtrs, usually in the afternoons but please do not approach or feed them.

Raised site for self contained caravans or RVs with a half acre of open ground for recreation and the first lake visible through the trees 30 - 50 mtrs away. When you're quiet at the site kangaroos will come in close, even within 2 or 3 mtrs, usually in the afternoons but please do not approach or feed them. Walks from here throughout the lakes district or up into the hills. A tiny home has come onsite but as yet is not set up or used so its fine to park close. Ive lowered the cost for inconvenience.

Good spot which is out of the way, you can see lots of wildlife such as kangaroo's come close to the campsite, nice and quiet area. Good if you’re looking for a nice spot for a walk and relaxing night.

The place was easy to find even at night, the site is wide and there’s light to help. And the sky was so bright with stars! The place is sufficiently quiet, though very close to the road, and when we arrived there were kangaroos in the host’s front yard.

Its a nice spot, Christine the host is welcoming and easy going. It's close to the main road but hidden behind trees. Feels very private.

Christine's was so helpful for a couple of newbies to the hipcamp community. Ours was a late arrival and early leave in the morning, but a great little lay over spot, off the beaten track, sorry not to have a little more time to explore the site and the lake.

Very quiet and relaxing place so that we extended our stay for one more night. We saw many kangaroos around. The host is very friendly and helpful. At the time we were there, the shower was not yet ready (to be prepared soon) and the water is coming from the lake. There is also a tab for drink water.

The host was absolutely amazing. The location is very close to Gin Gin, and close but far enough from Bundaberg that it doesn’t feel like that long of a drive. The host was very friendly and gave us a table to borrow as well as creating a small hammock down by the lake for myself and my partner to relax. I will definitely be back if i’m in the area! Thanks!
