⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Beautiful, Relaxing Getaway – We Will Definitely Be Back!
We spent the King’s Birthday long weekend at VietJess Hipcamp, and what a wonderful little getaway it was! We enjoyed ourselves so much that we ended up extending our stay by an extra night!
The property is absolutely beautiful. Even though the campground was fully booked, there was still plenty of space between sites, so you never felt crowded. Every site overlooks the dam, making it such a peaceful and picturesque place to sit back, relax and enjoy the surroundings.
This would be an absolute paradise for families with children! There are so many animals to see, including goats, llamas, donkeys, sheep, pigs, chickens, ducks, geese and guinea pigs. There is also a fantastic play area with swings, a trampoline, climbing frame and bikes, trikes soccer balls and net a lot to keep the little ones entertained.
For those who enjoy being out on the water, Jess provides kayaks free of charge, which is a lovely bonus. You can also bring your own kayaks or paddleboards, or simply enjoy a spot of fishing in the dam.
Each campsite has its own fire pit, perfect for sitting around the fire in the evenings. Just remember to bring your own firewood or purchase some on-site.
The property is located along a main road, but we honestly didn't find the road noise bothersome at all.
We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay at VietJess. It's a beautiful spot with plenty to offer, whether you're travelling as a couple or bringing the whole family. We left feeling relaxed, refreshed and already looking forward to our next visit.

This is a great weekender with children. Our boys loved the kayaking, Vietnamese coffee mid morning and plenty of animals for the kids to interact. Easily accessible off bitumen road. Really enjoyable stay, thanks Jess and Andrew 😊

We enjoyed our stay at VietJess. Beautiful location and the animals and kayaks were a hit with the kids. Unfortunately someone had already set up in our spot which was pretty rude but luckily we arrived early enough to find another spot on the dam as it did fill up that night.
That was so different from other camps - I loved all the animals Jess had, the campsite is very spacious, they have activites for kids and theres a little cafe where you can buy ice coffee or usual coffee.
I would reccommend it very much!
We had a wonderful trip. Our son loved being with all the animals and catching shrimp in the Dam. We will definitely be back. The caretakers and Jess are very welcoming and generous.

We had the most wonderful time. So quiet, peaceful and serene. Loved the coffee, farm and all of the activities for the kids. Thanks for having us, look forward to our next visit
Gorgeous quiet spot. We stayed at Hanoi, so we were tucked away near the dam, which was perfect for us. Jess is a wonderful host, we were gifted with some delicious strawberries, and she has a little shop with more.
We were travelling without kids, and there is plenty of space to camp if you'd like somewhere quiet.
There a playground and lots of friendly farm animals which are great if you are travelling with kids.
Highly recommend a trip to VietJess for all travellers.
We had a great time at the campground! The views of the dam were beautiful and the sites were nice and grassy. It was perfect for the kids to be able to feed the animals, too. Plus, the host was super accommodating and helpful throughout our stay.

Portaloo that was poorly kept, basin and shower with no running water and no toilet paper. Otherwise the site location by the lake was lovely.
We had such a fantastic weekend stay! The kids were entertained the entire time; they absolutely loved kayaking and swimming in the dam, meeting all the farm animals, and making full use of the playground and toys.
To top it off, cooling down with a delicious Vietnamese iced coffee and strawberry shake was a total treat. We had such a wonderful experience that we’ve already booked our next visit! Highly recommend this spot to families looking for a fun, relaxing getaway.

The farm was very interactive and a lot of animals to see pat and feed the views were amazing beautiful sunrises and sunsets to be seen very clean and tidy great spot for kayaking and the owner was so approachable and lovely coffee and strawberries were delicious we will be back for day trips and camping

Beautiful grounds to camp on with tent with view of the pond.
Our two small children loved all the farm animals and playground equipment.
the Vietnamese coffee was delicious definitely worth the treat!
Toilet well looked after, we didn’t use shower so can not review it.
Already talking about coming back next year for extra time. Thank you.

We loved camping at Hanoi and kayaking in the dam. Seeing and patting all the animals was fantastic. So many fun things for the kids to do - soccer, cubby houses, feeding the animals. Jess’ Vietnamese coffee was AMAZING! She also had a nice hot coffee ready for us when we left.

Beautiful view overlooking the dam. Everything was so well maintained. Plenty for kids to do. The animals were a lovely bonus. We were shown around the property by the family living in the house they were so friendly and lovely. Jess was very welcoming.

We had a fantastic stay at VietJess’s Farm! The kids absolutely loved it. As soon as we parked they were off exploring, cuddling the animals and making friends. Simple and relaxing. The coffee was delicious bonus!
