We loved our stay at VietJess’s Farm! With beautiful scenery and the cutest farm animals that our daughter loved. Very kid friendly, with a park, canoes, animals and dam to swim in.
Definitely will be back again!

Such a beautiful place for our long weekend trip. Jess is the perfect host and made us all feel very welcome. We did the cooking class and would highly recommend. We will most definitely be visiting again. 100% recommend.

We loved our stay! Beautiful spot beside the water. There wasn’t even mozzies! Jess was an amazing host. Vietnamese coffees were amazing! Just needs amenities and it would be perfect.

We loved our stay with Jess. She is the friendliest and most accommodating host, going out of her way to ensure the kids and adults all had a great time. The dam kept the kids entertained most of the weekend and the animals were very loved! Highly recommend the cooking class also. We will certainly be back :)

Best hip camp I’ve stayed at! The views were beautiful, directions clear and lots of activities available to keep you entertained. The sites were spread out so you had a sense of privacy with areas to socialise with other campers still available if interested. Jess was welcoming and available to support as needed but didn’t hover the way some hosts do. Overall a fantastic host and spot to stay.

What a brilliant hipcamp that's recently opened. Jess was super friendly, the grounds are amazing and the dam is gorgeous. This place will get super busy as more people find out about it. Get in while it's still only $22! I would stay here again and maybe for a few nights next time. Unfortunately I was only passing through for a night!

Good place to sleep ! We were alone on the property no noise except the birds and the goat. Jess was there to told us where to park even tho it was a bit late. Thanks for that !

We had an amazing time at Jess’s farm! It was my daughter’s birthday, so some of us camped overnight while others joined us for the day to celebrate.
The kids absolutely loved being able to interact freely with the beautiful guinea pigs, ducks, goats, pigs, and chickens. There was also a playground to keep them entertained, along with plenty of activities set up for us to enjoy-tug of war was definitely a favourite!
When they weren’t with the animals, the kids were off kayaking, fishing (hoping to catch a barra for the chance to win three free nights!), or exploring the dam. In the evenings, we gathered around the fire to enjoy a delicious roast dinner and toasted marshmallows, which made it even more special.
Jess was a wonderful host-she generously took the time to show us around her nursery, explaining the plants and their uses in Vietnam. We all found it fascinating and learned so much.
We truly didn’t want to leave and could have stayed much longer! We’ll definitely be back, even if it’s just for day trips before our next extended stay.
Thank you so much, Jess, Andrew, and family-this was an unforgettable birthday celebration and camping trip. We can’t wait to return!

Excellent location wide open area perfect for Big Rigs with lovely view to the lake. Free kayaks to paddle out too. Lots of animals and toys for kids. Higly recommended. Water available if needed.

This camping spot is an absolute gem. The peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect place to switch off and unwind. The dam was maintained and ideal for enjoying a paddle on the kayaks or a refreshing swim. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Fire pits and firewood were available upon request. There was also the added option of a Vietnamese cooking class when booing to stay for a small extra fee. If you’re budget conscious and looking for serenity, nature and genuine hospitality, this place delivers it all. Highly recommended.

Loved our stay at VietJess farm. Beautiful views, huge grassy sites, a lovely springfed lake, and plenty of space to walk our 2 little dogs. Hosts Jess and Andy are so friendly. We had the pleasure of walking thru Jess's lovely plant nursery and our dogs were intrigued with their goats, pigs, ducks, and chooks. Jess's coffee is amazing. Will definitely be back

Great place ,plenty of room. We were a party of 6 +1 child and a dog. 3 vans and cars. Jess is very welcoming, she took us around and let us sample all the different fruit and told us what each plant was. We did the cooking class was great. Also Vietnamese iced coffee. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Nice big dam with kayaks to use. Definitely be back.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted and made to feel completely welcome. The campsite itself was absolutely amazing super spacious, beautifully kept, and with plenty of room to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The owners were incredibly kind and genuinely lovely, which made the experience even more special. Overall, it was an unforgettable stay and worth every single bit of it. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back in a heartbeat!

Beautiful place to relax and unwind. Swimming in the big dam was beautiful. The dogs we free to play and we’re very happy. Jess was very lovely and made us feel very welcome. Definitely in my top 5 stays ever.

We loved everything about vietjess farm!
The farm was lovely and everything was very well maintained, the lake was so fun for kayaking and the garden was perfect!
Thank you Jess for giving us a tour around the garden and letting us pick amazing organic veggies!

Great stay at a beautiful Hipcamp overlooking the dam. Peaceful, well set up, and perfect for a family getaway. Farmer Jess was a fantastic hostsuper welcoming and even brought down fresh watermelon, which was a lovely touch. We’ll definitely be back.

Jess’s place is incredible. Jess is amazing, the place is so well kept, Kayaks for use, heaps fire wood dropped off for $10, lots fruits grown in the orchard and super friendly goats and animals to pat. The place is stunning, quiet and sheltered. Our dogs loved being able to swim, and having some privacy and quiet time was perfect. Will be visiting again!! There aren’t amenities yet, but worth the stop.

An amazing and stunning view this campsite has can’t be explained.
More than anything, I’ve gotten a lot of help from the people from VietJess.
Our car battery was dead and she took care of us and we finally fixed our car.
It was all thanks to her.
You should try the Vietnamese coffee she made.👍👍🏻👍🏿

The land is beautiful, big open field with lots of places to camp. There is a small like you can fish in or sit out in a kayak and relax. We got lucky and had the whole area to ourselves but if you enjoy being around people and camp when others are there it seems like it’d be a lot of fun and not cramped at all. Jess the host was amazing, grows lots of exotic fruits and was very accommodating. 100% would recommend.

We found this little gem of a place.
Viet Jess which is on Rosedale Road Avondale QLD
Jess and staff were very friendly and helpful.
We stayed 3 nights in this most relaxing camp site Hanoi 2 right in front of the dam.
There are free kayaks with life jackets supplied.
You can fish and swim in the dam.
There is a play ground for kids and an animal farm with chooks, ducks, geese, pigs and goats.
There is also a huge veggie garden which you can help yourself to beautiful vegetables.
Thank you to Jess and the boys for the iced coffee and tea along with the melon soup that they made on our last night, absolutely delicious.
There are no toilet or showers however we were self contained in our caravan.
Everyone do yourself a favour and come and support Jess at her little hobby farm which has only been open about 3 months.
Plus we had a great meal good prices at the Avondale Tavern which is only 3 ks from Viet Jess hobby farm .
