Our property features a spring-fed creek with fish. Bring your fishing rods as there is silver perch and perch for catch and release fishing only. The rest of the property features open grasslands and bush.
We are pet friendly, unpowered sites with access to a flushing portaloo toilet. Campers must have everything they need and leave no trace.
Just 20 minutes inland from the beautiful coastal beaches.
With flat and comfortable sites, this is a haven for anyone venturing to the Fraser Coast.
It's a 2 minute drive into town for supplies and where you can enjoy a range of pubs, cafes and shops.
Lots of things to do and see in the area including a bird park and the Snakes Down Under display.

Please note that the river bank is quite steep. We recently had 2 access tracks constructed to the river for easier KAYAK launching.

I loved the fact that we could select our own site, Tony is the perfect host, he takes excellent care of the perfectly manicured 20 Acres, the camp is a gem, only 2 or 3 minutes drive into Childes CBD, where you can access lots of Cafes, Hotels, Bakery, Pharmacy and most other things one may need.
No Powered sites and no water hookup but thats all good, leave no trace. The Portaloo is spotlessly clean and stocked with soap, tissue etc. Plenty of wildlife, kangaroos, and kookaburras about during our stay. Will surely return.

Part of me wanted to say I wouldnt recommend this place just to be selfish and keep it quiet😂 as it was so relaxed and pretty. We were the only people there for 2 days.
Very well maintained flat areas, with fire pits.
Will definitely go again. And only a couple of minutes from Childers town if you fancy a nice lunch. And you don’t need a 4wd to access it.

Fabulous private camp. We were the only ones there and it was so serene & peaceful. 30 mins away from main road, no noise, no lights, just starry skies & the sound of cracking fire. The cows made for fun entertainment for our toddler too.

Stunning property, option to buy fire wood which was great so we could have a open fire in the evening. We camped next to the creek was lovely and quiet even our dogs loved the stay with plenty of room to run off some energy. Highly recommended!!

A lovely peaceful spot very close to Childers. Lots of room with nice camp sites. We stayed next to the creek and it was beautiful to sit and watch all the birds and listening to the creek babbling away.
