Rosgrow Farm, 15 minutes off the Bruce Highway, offers secluded campsites set on a large tidal creek. There are plenty of trees and shelter. The creek offers fishing, crabbing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, boating and swimming.
Fire pits and picnic areas make the sites perfect for evening relaxation with bird life and jumping fish, talking about the day's fishing or eating the day's crab catch.
Limited firewood is sometimes available. It can be bought at a reasonable price about 9km along the road towards Burrum Heads..
Campers must be self-contained with their own toilet and shower and need to remove their rubbish. Particularly suitable for RVs and caravans with own toilet.
Well suited for overnight travelers passing between Maryborough and Bundaberg, or others needing a few days rest, fishing or water activities.
Sandflies are a problem in this region anywhere near water, in the mornings until about 9am and in the evenings after about 3:30pm, so bring plenty of repellent and apply early and often.
Sites are 30-40 metres apart with a maximum of 8 vehicles and their occupants in the whole property. No overcrowding!

We stayed at a Hipcamp just outside Hervey Bay and thoroughly enjoyed the calm, secluded setting. The campsite is nestled within a beautifully curated garden, complete with sculptures and a tranquil dam, creating an almost idyllic place to rest and reset.
Kym is a warm and genuinely caring host who has clearly put a lot of thought into the space. It feels welcoming without being intrusive, striking the perfect balance for a hosted stay. The location is ideal, only a short drive to Hervey Bay and perfectly positioned for trips over to K’gari, with shops, fuel and the barge all close by.
A lovely, peaceful stay that showcases exactly why Hipcamp experiences are so special. Highly recommended for those seeking quiet, character and thoughtful hosting.

Great location and exceptional service from Greg. Nice creek access for paddling and exploring. Town water availability was a great factor. If your a mountain biker the Toogoom trail network is just down the road.
I would definitely stay here again.

The camping was great, right by the river. Potable water was roughly 100m away from all sites. The site was well maintained and Greg is very helpful and easy to communicate with. My boy really enjoyed fishing, he caught many fish.
Some issues we found were that the noise is loud (from the cars on the old m1 highway) and at summer the midgies and mosquitoes are everywhere (so we recommend you bring missive spray) overall this campsite was really nice to stay at, and we enjoyed our time there. So we recommend it to anyone who’s staying there for a night or two.

What a beautiful spot, right by Beelbi creek where we caught a couple of fish and a really good feed of mud crabs. 🦀
Well maintained property with picnic tables and fire pits. We even spotted a couple of fire flys. 🔥
The hosts were more than accommodating and very prompt with communications.
Keep well sprayed with the bushmen's ( with deet) and you'll have no problems with sandflies or mozzies. Mosquitoes 🦟
I'll definitely be back only 3 1/2 hours from Brisbane left at 6:00am was set up by 10:30am

We enjoyed camping at Greg’s campground with a great view of the river, the site was well maintained and with the sites nestled between the trees giving a lovely succulent feel. Greg was a great host meeting us when we arrived and spent time in explaining the site,
