We have a beautiful hobby farm on 2 and a half acres. Camping is at the front of the property where you will find vegie gardens and fruit trees. There is also a fire pit (plenty of firewood available), a trampoline and a games shed with toilet, shower and kitchenette facilities. Yes we live on the property and the campsite is in the front yard, however we do not infringe on your space at your campsite or the amenities area - these are yours and yours only whilst camping here. We do not double book our sites, it is strictly 1 group at a time.
Pets are welcome for a small fee of $5 per pet per booking. If you are bringing a fur baby or 2 with you please add the Pet Fee into your booking via the EXTRAS tab.
You can purchase free range eggs in half dozen and full dozen when available. Please ask on check-in.
200m to boat ramp with river perfect for water skiing, jet skiing, tubing and freshwater fishing (licence required as this is a stocked impoundment). On opposite side of river is Sandy Hook Boat Club where major water skiing and power boat races are held throughout the year.
Located between Bundaberg and Gin Gin. Bundaberg has attractions such as the Bundy Rum Distillery, Ginger Beer Factory, a free zoo, Mon Repos Turtle Centre, lower Great Barrier Reef cruises to Lady Musgrave Island for snorkelling, great beaches some with 4WD access. Gin Gin is on the main highway to head north or south. Easy access from here to National Parks for walks and 4WDing.
Being a hobby farm we have livestock in a paddock in the backyard. If you would like to join us for feeding in the afternoons please ask on arrival. Feeding happens between 4 and 6pm depending on time of year. We also have chickens that free range around the campsite at the front of the property who will happily take any of your scraps.

Great little place to use as your base camp while exploring the area. Even though you are camped in the front yard, the host leave you alone, but are happy to answer any questions. The shed was a great addition to the stay, with the teenagers playing darts, ping pong & watching TV. Thanks for the stay 😀

Had a wonderful stay over the Australia Day weekend, lucky enough to have the ‘reversed’ deck site on the dam. The dog off leash area is an added bonus to the camp. Nicky is an amazing host and very helpful. Amenities were spotless as are the well maintained grounds. Look forward to returning.

This campsite is highly recommended. The site is designed with great attention to detail. It has clean toilets and showers. It's a very peaceful place in nature, perfect for relaxation. The hosts were fantastic and took great care of us and the other guests, and they even had a wonderful New Year's celebration. We would definitely come back again.

We had a lovely stay at Rob-Lee-Rose Farm with another family while visiting for the turtle nesting tour.
The kids had an amazing time. They loved the man cave, especially the tabletop football and darts, and feeding the cow and sheep was a big highlight.
Having the small kitchen and bathroom close to the campsite was very handy, and there’s also a little shop nearby which made things easy.
Steven and Sandra were friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home.
A great spot for families and we’d happily stay again.

Our camping experience was absolutely perfect. Everything was extremely clean, well organised and well maintained. From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcomed and well looked after.
The facilities exceeded our expectations, and the overall atmosphere made the stay even more enjoyable. It truly deserves an 11 out of 10. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great camping experience in Australia.

It was really quiet spacious just enough shade to stay cool. And only 12min to Marybrough. Owen and Wendy are very friendly and made it a point to make sure we were well looked after. Will definitely be going back. 10 out of 10. And dog friendly

I stayed on site 1 a true slice of paradise . Will be coming back and bringing my dog with me, can’t recommend it enough. The fishing was fun and by far the cleanest camp site I’ve been too. 2 other camp sites but far away enough to feel like you have the place to yourself. You won’t regret it .

We stayed 1 night in our van with 2 dogs. Lots of room between sites so you definitely don't feel like you're on top of each other. The dam has 2 sandy beach access points on either side of the jetty and was awesome to swim in on a hot day. There are even kayaks to use. Toilets were very clean. Hosts are really friendly and gave us a quick run down of the site and then left us to it. We've already told all our family about Dam Crazy and will certainly be back again.
