Peaceful, grounds always kept immaculate. The kangaroos are always there to greet you. Close to town and beaches.

Brilliant! Exactly as described, so close to town and beaches. A great place to park up and explore Hervey Bay and surrounds. The grounds are kept beautifully and the kangaroos were awesome!!!

The camping there was fine but it’s just someone’s back yard. The host was unresponsive to messages and we had to make our own way around. This campsite is more for the camper van or trailer than tent campers and that wasn’t disclosed before we arrived and the was the biggest letdown. Overall a below average experience I’m afraid.

We really loved waking up in the morning and seeing the kangaroos! The place had enough space, water and power as well. We felt welcome and even received help with a power supply adaptor. Recommended it, it close to main attractions and the public dump point.

Really easy to find, excellent facilities with an undercover area, power and water for campers use. The site is really quiet, with lots of trees and wildlife.

Great set up. Perfect relaxing spot away - but not far away - from town. Max was awesome. Perfect to get away from crowds and be in your own for a bit!

I loved having the whole place to myself and the fact that you simply drive in and pitch up. Lovely having kangaroos lolloping through and I enjoyed the peace and calm of dusk listening to the birds.

What a beautiful private and relaxing environment. A fantastic alternative to rack and stack caravan parks in Hervey Bay. The location is excellent for exploring the city and to access the whale watching marina. Highly recommended

We loved having the entire place to ourselves and had nightly visits from a mother Wallaby and her cute Joey.
We will return if we are ever considered me back to Hervey Bay.

Awesome spot, we loved the easy access and tranquility/outlook, so much so wanted to stay another night but there was already a booking. Great communication from Max, we will definitely be back!

We stayed here for two nights in early August and found communication with Max was great. He responded quickly to any queries and concerns in regards to our 7.5m front wheel drive motorhome and whether it would be ok on the site if it was wet. The first day we stayed was good weather and we walked to the Esplanade and cafes which is about 3.5km.
We set up on the grass area down from the shed which has the power and water connection. Unfortunately that night the rain bucketed down (35mm) so being cautious we moved closer to the shed onto the gravel there. Whilst the weather was unfortunate, we had no problems with the site and looking down across the trees and kangaroos was very peaceful. Max and family were very respectful and didn't hear or see them at all.
Occasionally you can hear a plane fly over but not really an issue.
Good spot if you don't want to stay at the cramped and noisy caravan parks in Hervey Bay.

Great spot amongst the trees giving you the feeling your out of town but you are at arms reach for everything. So good that you dont have to share the spot with other campers too. We had an amazing time and wouldnt hesitate to come again. Greatly priced with power/water and quiet setting.

Max’s places is absolute bliss! Such a secluded, peaceful spot while still being so close to everything. Max is an absolute legend, so friendly and welcoming. My children had a blast playing with his kids which was such a nice surprise.
We will definitely return in the future! 10/10 amazing 🤩

Max and his wife were absolutely wonderful hosts. They have a beautiful family and made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived. Their property is ideal for Hipcamp – spacious, well-maintained, and perfectly equipped with both water and power. It’s also centrally located, making it easy to access everything in the Hervey Bay area. We had the entire place to ourselves, which made for a peaceful and relaxing stay. I would 100% recommend staying with them, and we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Hervey Bay. Thank you for such a fantastic experience!

Originally booked in for three nights but we loved it that much we stayed for an extra two. Beautiful scenery, great hosts, and easy to fit a big rig in. Leisurely 10 minute drive to dump point and rubbish bins. Would definitely stay again 😀

Great secluded spot. Easy directions to follow for checking in. We set up facing North/East as Max suggested and felt like we had a private gum forest all to ourselves (plus a couple of big beautiful grey roos who were pretty interested in checking out what we were up to from a distance). Perfect spot to set up our RV, hooked up to power and water was available. Only minutes to town. Would definitely recommend.
