Can leave caravan safely in situ if want to go day tripping. 45 minutes to Hervey Bay and Gympie 20 minutes to historic Maryborough.

This a great spot to KAYAK and wet your line with bass, saratoga, sooty grunter and lots of catfish! Platypus inhabit the river too, so bring your camera. Biking and bush walking are popular with guests. Please note that the river bank is quite steep. We recently had 2 access tracks constructed to the river for easier KAYAK launching. We are pet friendly and welcome SELF-CONTAINED RV campers only (council regulations). Our wetland has lots of bird life with quite a few raising young. We are a working farm which offers a variety of activities 9 HOLE GOLF COURSE ( we have clubs and balls or bring your own) Try our fabulous sunset course. 1200m CROQUET - fun for all ages Fshing - mostly bass, perch, catfish, tilarpia Swimming - in the river, rock pools, small rapids or in our big lagoon Paddling- the beautiful Mary River offers a variety of paddling experiences. Yabby catching - traps or meat on a string in the big lagoon Fossicking and panning for gold - in the Mary River. ACTIVITIES BY NEGOTIATION We can do led pony rides for kids/adults 20 mins Horseback walking tour of property for adult beginners/intermediate Bring your own horse and it can use the yards and have water provided for free - ride various close by segments of the national trail. Gallop over endless sandflats at Tuan on the Great Sandy Straights, see the brumbies on the pine forest trails. TRAIL BIKES - kids with no bigger than 50cc welcome but must ride in designated area under full parental supervision. For adults there are huge state forests next door with fantastic trails as will as the sand trails in the enormous pine forests close by. PARTY SHED - if you wish to have a bit of a party, band, get together etc we have a pretty groovy 100 year old shed for hire.

An abundance of birdlife with over 135 different species found so far including a Powerful Owl. A magnificent 400 megalitre dam that now forms part of the natural landscape of this unique property. A hidden gem in the Wide Bay/Fraser Coast area of Queensland where relaxation, peace and privacy are unavoidable as are the sunsets and shooting stars in the clear skies above. We are 20 minutes from the quaint Childers Township and 50 minutes from Bundaberg. The property is totally private and caravans cannot been seen from the road, the owners live on the property and only booked guests are to enter the property offering security and peace of mind. Whether you want to bird watch, kayak, fish (catch and release only), hike or ride one of the many trails or sit, relax and read your favourite book, we promise a warm welcome; from the wildlife and the proprietors Miranda, Brendon and Esa the dog. Dam Crazy is also pet friendly, dogs must be cleaned up after and may be walked off leash on the walking trails (please be mindful of other campers, farm animals and wildlife), they may also swim in the dam but must be contained or kept on leash in the campsite areas. The dam is very deep and could have snags washed down in floods, so we suggest children wear life jackets, and MUST be supervised by adults at all times around the water. Numbers are limited to ensure you have plenty of space and privacy! Campers must take all waste with them. Very good cellphone reception

We have planted 600 native trees at the camp to date. We recycle most of our waste at our on site recycling station. Come stay with us kick back and enjoy nature at its finest.
