Our names are Chris and Christine. We recently moved to Gundiah Qld and acquired a beautiful piece of land (approx. 320 acres) with about 70 acres of picturesque camping located on the Mary River. Our property is located halfway between Gympie and Maryborough (approx. 20 minutes from the Bruce Highway) tucked away down a private road which is lovely and peaceful. We have plenty of walking trails and a bike track to keep the kids amused! There is easy access to the Mary River if you would like a spot of fishing or swimming. We have a large fire pit and 2 flushing toilets and showers located on the other side of the campground. We are just setting up but hope to soon have coffee available in the bar area located on the other side of the campground. We also have fire pits available with plenty of free firewood located on the property. Your fury friends are more than welcome but for the safety of them and others must be on a lead at all times. We are located about 50 minutes from Gympie, an hour 15 minutes from Rainbow Beach and or Hervey Bay, 45 minutes from Maryborough and the town of Tiaro is only 15 minutes down the road which has a Foodworks, Pub, United Fuel and Cafe. Don't forget the local Gundy Pub is only 5 minutes down the road.

Great place to camp
Christine and Chris were amazing. Very friendly and helpful. My wife and I stayed on their beautiful property for 2 nights for our anniversary and Was just the two of us there which was nice. River is nice for a swim or a fish. Plenty of fire wood and nice clean toilets and showers up at the office. Also went to dinner and drinks down at the Gundy Pub which was convenient. We will be coming back soon!

Quiet weekend
A fantastic campground in amongst a beautiful setting. Such a peaceful weekend spent with friends. We camped at The Gums which had toilet and shower within short walking distance. The other side of the gully takes you to more camping areas, so plenty of space for everyone. Great access to the Mary River which was way too high and fast flowing for us to swim but I will definitely be back when the river returns to a normal level. The hosts were very friendly and happy to help when needed. I highly recommend Gundy Getaway

Great bush camping spot. The host dropped of some fire wood for us which nice. The river was flowing a bit to much for a swim as there was a lot of rain leading up to the weekend but overall was a great spot to camp

THE GUMS
We stayed at The Gums. Lovely mowed flat area. Amenities were clean. Chris and Christine were wonderful hosts and very helpful and accommodating. River was flowing too fast for swimming but otherwise a wonderful camping spot!
