A stone's throw from the campsites is access to the mobility corridor/bike path, which takes you straight into Hervey Bay and continues all the way past the shops to Urangan pier, offering 15km of ocean frontage to explore. Our farm is located about 2.5km from both hospitals (private and government) for any care that you may need. All specialists and consulting facilities are very convenient. Next door to the campsites is our fantastic local cafe, The Depot Espresso Bar, open at 6 in the morning. They're happy to take orders for our campers from 5:30 if you knock! It's perfect for hopping on your bike from camp, grabbing your morning caffeine fix, and continuing on the day's biking adventure. However I've noticed that campers in caravans generally have a more insulated experience and are less affected by any early morning barking. If you prefer a quieter spot, I make it a priority to assign campers the farthest firepit, Camp 4, nestled deep in the bush, providing you with a peaceful retreat away from any noise. Additionally I'm delighted to offer electricity to all camps, ensuring your comfort and convenience during your stay. Whether you choose a campsite closer to the amenities or opt for the tranquility of Camp 4, rest assured that you'll have access to electricity. While the dog motel may occasionally add a touch of canine charm to the soundscape, I'm confident that the overall experience at my Hipcamp will be an enjoyable one. Our property is located halfway between Gympie and Maryborough (approx. 20 minutes from the Bruce Highway) tucked away down a private road which is lovely and peaceful. We have some walking trails located on the Camp Grounds to take in the scenery, or for the more adventurous located behind the office are longer walking trails with spectacular views at the top. There is a bike track and playground with Mini Putt Putt to keep the kids amused! Currently an RC track in the making for the remote 4WD enthusiasts. Easy access to the Mary River if you would like a spot of fishing, swimming or kayaking. Keep your eye out for the platypus and Mary River Turtles. We also have fire pits available at most sites with plenty of free firewood to collect around the property. Your fury friends are more than welcome but for the safety of them and others must be on a lead at all times. We are located about 50 minutes from Gympie, an hour 15 minutes from Rainbow Beach and or Hervey Bay and 45 minutes from Maryborough. The town of Tiaro is only 15 minutes down the road which has a Foodworks, Pub, United Fuel and Cafe. Don't forget the local Gundy Pub is only 5 minutes down the road. Great atmosphere and meals "tell them we sent you". Gundy Getaway is the perfect place to get back to basics and enjoy the peace and serenity.

It is a very quiet location with 5 dams and 2 that you can swim and Kayak in, the creek is also great to swim and kayak in , free roaming cattle to camp along side with lots of bird life to enjoy . We are only 15min North East of Gympie, 17min to Mary Valley Rattler train station, 32min to Mothar Mountain Rock Pools, 35min to Tin Can Bay, 50min to Rainbow Beach, 60min to the Sunshine Coast, Noosa. We have 7 different locations. ***Powered *** and non powered. 1 hill top location with 4 powered and 5 non powered sites. 4 non powered locations beside the creek with many camp sites to choose from. 2 non powered off road private locations, 4WD access only. ** No toilets or showers and can only be accessed in dry conditions, please contact us before booking these sites. Facilities. We have 3 toilets and a shower with warm water , our water is filtered, but not suitable for drinking, we advise you bring your own drinking water. Camp fires. **Weather permitting** NO BYO, But we do supply. $25 1st day (includes: fire pit, fire wood, fire starter and matches) $20 each day after everything included, All guests must take their waste with them on departure. Things to do nearby. There are many places that you can visit if you feel like a short drive within 15- 60min such as Breweries, Wineries, Beaches, Markets, Rock pools and the old famous Mary Rattler Steam Train. There is also many quite and beautiful small towns to visit, to just sit and enjoy a cup of coffee or have a glass of wine or beer or two. Pop in for a break away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, and have your own spot along the beautiful running creek and enjoy the peaceful surrounds of nature. Pets. Non barking dog are allowed, BUT must be kept on leash at all times and kept by your side when strolling around, pet waste must be picked up and taken off site when vacating.

There is a bike track and playground with Mini Putt Putt to keep the kids amused! Currently an RC track in the making for the remote 4WD enthusiasts. Easy access to the Mary River if you would like a spot of fishing, swimming or kayaking. Keep your eye out for the platypus and Mary River Turtles. We also have fire pits available at most sites with plenty of free firewood to collect around the property. Your fury friends are more than welcome but for the safety of them and others must be on a lead at all times. We are located about 50 minutes from Gympie, an hour 15 minutes from Rainbow Beach and or Hervey Bay and 45 minutes from Maryborough. The town of Tiaro is only 15 minutes down the road which has a Foodworks, Pub, United Fuel and Cafe. Don't forget the local Gundy Pub is only 5 minutes down the road. Great atmosphere and meals "tell them we sent you". Gundy Getaway is the perfect place to get back to basics and enjoy the peace and serenity.

A great campsite with lots of areas to choose. Room for large groups but there were only 2 of us so found a nice spot in the shade by the creek. Considering how many campers were there you could still find an area you felt private. Everyone was very quiet. Awoke surrounded by cows and calves which added to the charm. Facilities were very clean though a bit of a walk from where we camped.

Rosgrow Farm, 15 minutes off the Bruce Highway, offers secluded campsites set on a large tidal creek. There are plenty of trees and shelter. The creek offers fishing, crabbing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, boating and swimming. Fire pits and picnic areas make the sites perfect for evening relaxation with bird life and jumping fish, talking about the day's fishing or eating the day's crab catch. Limited firewood is sometimes available. It can be bought at a reasonable price about 9km along the road towards Burrum Heads.. Campers must be self-contained with their own toilet and shower and need to remove their rubbish. Particularly suitable for RVs and caravans with own toilet. Well suited for overnight travelers passing between Maryborough and Bundaberg, or others needing a few days rest, fishing or water activities. Sandflies are a problem in this region anywhere near water, in the mornings until about 9am and in the evenings after about 3:30pm, so bring plenty of repellent and apply early and often. Sites are 30-40 metres apart with a maximum of 8 vehicles and their occupants in the whole property. No overcrowding! Pricing: Basic booking is for a vehicle with caravan, or an RV, and 2 people. Some sites can accommodate more than 1 caravan - if you are travelling with others and want to share a site, please make a separate booking for them at one of the other sites and feel free to get them to share your site instead.

If you choose to bring your horse you will find stabling or yards under Extras as begin your booking. The cost can be seen as you view the sites. The stables are rubber floored, meaning you use minimal sawdust therefore minimal dust. They are equipped with automatic waterers and feed bins. The yards are separated so that the horses can't reach each other from one yard to the other. Please ensure these areas are cleaned before you leave. There are rakes and wheelbarrows provided near the arena and at the end of the stables for your convenience. Our sites are best suited to self contained camping but there is shower and toilet availability on the property. Buxton has a great little boat ramp on the Isis River which provides easy access for river fishing or to the Coral Sea for ocean fishing. 100 secluded acres located on the Gregory River approximately 15 minutes from Buxton township. The property is nestled amongst thousands of acres of national park for bush walkers an explorers. Guests need to be fully self contained and no toilets are on site. Access to the Gregory river enables fishing from the bank and a spot to place a crab pot to secure a local feed of fish or mud crab. There is also the option to put a kayak into the river from the bank. Campsites are located approximately 100m from the river bank so only a short walk to the water. Despite there being some snags, I have caught some very decent fish and crabs all from the property. For those wanting to spend a day on the water, I can guide guests in my boat to help land one of the many metre barramundi that call the river home. There are approximately 15 native beehives on the property and I am happy to show guests inside some hives as well as how to locate some in the wild for the interested bushwalkers and nature lovers. The property does not have power, water or toilets so please plan ahead. Significant rainfall can also make accessibility an issue along the 1km driveway so I would recommend a 4 wheel drive, however if it is dry a 2WD would be fine.

Our property is situated on the banks of the great sandy strait just 400m from the Tuan Boat ramp with access to Fraser Island by boat or kayak. We are surrounded by Tuan State Forest and wetlands. There is a medium sized dam on the property for swimming.The Tuan Forshore has a park, BBQ area and picnic tables as well as garbage disposal. There is plenty of space in the surrounding forests for mountain biking, motor-biking and walking. 3km down the road in Boonooroo you will find a large park with tennis court and public BBQ's. The bowls club and Golf Club just 3km away and serve meals on weekends. This site is suitable for caravans, RV's, camper trailers. There is NO toilet facility on the property. We are VERY dog friendly and can be off lead as long as the dogs are friendly towards people and other dogs and don't bite our horses. We also have other peoples horses agisting in paddocks. Activities you can do include boating, kayaking, swimming, fishing, crabbing, walking, stand up paddle boarding, bird watching, kangaroo spotting, playing in the parks, beach tennis, mountain biking, hiking etc. Camp sites are far from the main house and other sites so you can have camp fires and play music, use generators without worry. Campers will need to be self contained (rubbish and toilets) and please leave your campsite the way you found it. Don't leave toilet paper or rubbish in fire pits please. Enter / Exit the main gate by pushing the code into the key pad. Gate closes after 20 seconds once it is fully open so be quick. NOTE: ***During Summer- November, December, January and February there are midgees (sandflies) at dusk and dawn and we do recommend midgee screening or spraying the mesh on your caravan windows as the standard mozzie mesh will not keep them out. Bring coils, a fan as they hate any breeze, bug spray and long sleeved pants and tops to wear in the evenings from about 5pm-7pm!*** *4X4's are recommended if you don't stay along the fence line as it can get muddy if there has been lots of rain.
