Buranga Farm is a small organic family-run farm on 60 acres in the Noosa hinterland only ten minutes from Peregian Beach. The property is largely flat with a hill on the Eastern side and a ridgeline at the very back of the property. There are plenty of cleared open areas as well as a mix of lightly treed and native vegetation.
Site one and two are located on the hillside looking west to Mount Cooroy and are best suited for couples.
Sites three and four share a large open grassed area the flows down to the main lake that offers great swimming. Site five overlooks the lake and opens into a private bush area. All areas of the property are open to campers to walk through and explore.
The farm comprises a series of ponds near the road that are in the process of being renovated for Red Claw Crayfish. There are fruit trees and veggie gardens and chooks around the house paddock. The balance of the land is either grazed by our small herd of cattle and our 2 donkeys or set aside for regeneration.

"LingaLilLonga" is a flat, private camp spot perched higher on our property. Water and power are available at extra cost. No toilet or shower, currently a work in progress. The site has easy access and the option to park your vehicle with your camp.

"Turkey Nest" - A walk-in only camp for those who wish to become one with nature. A drop-dunny and campfire grill are all you have with direct access to kayaking and swimming. A King Daddy swag and other essential items can be provided at extra cost.

Running Creek is a lovely flowing creek which is very inviting in summer and the park offers a great bush camp.

Directions: At Rathdowney, turn left into Running Creek Rd and travel approximately 17km south east.
Campers Day Trippers Rules:
The Park is for everyone to enjoy, so please adhere to a few simple
guidelines while enjoying this beautiful park.
By using this park you agree to the following rules.
All vehicles entering the park must observe 10 Km per hour speed
limit.
Fires must be extinguished prior to departure.
Park users must clean up their area when leaving, by taking all
rubbish, including food scraps and disposable nappies with them, so
the next users can enjoy the Park as well. Do not burn your rubbish.
Generator use is restricted to 4 hours per day between the hours of
2pm to 6pm.
Dogs must be on short leads and confined to your campsite at all
times.
No music or noise after 10pm, noise level must at all times be at an acceptable level so as not to disturb other users.
No stock whips, firearms or weapons of any sort, chainsaws, drones
or fireworks allowed in the park.
No use of detergents, soaps or shampoos in creek.
No washing dishes or clothing in creek.
No hitting of Golf balls.
No cricket with cricket ball (tennis ball ok).
No swings to be tied to trees.
Anyone who is non-compliant may be directed by park management to leave the park and if so must leave without delay. Non-compliance
will be referred to local Police and you may face legal action for
trespassing.
Park management reserves the right to refuse anyone entry to and use
of the park.

6. Firewood not to be transported to Riverdell whilst biosecurity risk of Fire Ant spread is current.
Riverdell is 166 acres located on the eastern side of the Blackall Range extending down to the Mooloolah River headwaters. Escape off grid to enjoy the peace and quiet, watch the cattle grazing in the paddocks, spot the native birdlife or cuddle up by the fire in your own secluded paradise.
Sunrises are spectacular while sunsets by open campfire are also a highlight of the Riverdell experience. Take a short walk up the creek branching west of the Mooloolah River to see some scenic rockpools and waterfalls in the cool of the rainforest canopy. Walking boots/shoes are highly recommended.
There is plenty to do and see in the area including exploring nearby Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, Gardeners Falls, Kondalilla National Park, Australia Zoo, indulge in a tasting at the Barrel at Clouds Vineyard opposite the front gate, stroll through Maleny Botanic Gardens & Bird World or take a short drive to some of Australia’s most beautiful beaches.
Access during daylight hours via 4WD ONLY with AT or MT off-road Tyres, RT Tyres are not permitted due to the steepness of the tracks. Off-road camper trailers are suitable (max weight 1500kg and max length 5m restrictions apply). There are Portaloos located at or near all campsites.
Caravans or motor homes are not permitted due to the steep terrain. Riverdell is dog friendly, off leash if trained, and recommend tick treatment before arrival. For safety, no arrivals after dark unless arranged prior.

Due to new council regulations, we can no longer camp directly near the creek edges as we did before. Our campsites have now been relocated to higher ground, offering beautiful views of the creek. The creek entrances are accessible within 50 to 300 meters, depending on the path you choose.
Unplug and unwind at our 22 acre camping paradise nestled amongst the rolling green hills of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Listen to the babbling water sounds of Scrubby Creek and the Mary River that meandering through the perimeter of the property for over 1 kilometer. Stroll through our mini rainforest, paddle in the creek or have a dip in one of the many rock pools. We will even let you build as many rock towers as you like! Throw an inner tube in the creek and float around while the kids laugh and play all day long. Let the kids dig holes or fossick for the perfect skimming rocks, ride bikes or play endless games on the beautiful landscaped grass. Plenty of trees to put up that hammock or soak in the creek with views overlooking the wilderness. Sit back and gaze at the starlit skies while the kids roast yet another marshmallow on the campfire. Snuggle up during winter and cool down around the rainforest in summer. Abundant wildlife, lots of kangaroos and wallabies, koalas and beautiful birds everywhere.
Please be aware that weekends are family times and do get busy with extra people. During the week it is very quiet and you could have the whole place to yourself. Sites are allocated on weekends based on numbers, if you are in caravans or tents and if you are camping with children.
We have 12 large grassy sites nestled amongst trees located at the higher part of our property. Each site is large and can allow group bookings. Loads of space for tents, camper trailers, caravans or motorhomes. The camping sites are close together however there is loads of areas to set up along the creek during the day.

So much to see and do in the area, a short drive to the Lost World Tourist Drive and Tommerups Dairy to name a few. Further along Christmas Creek Road takes you past the Christmas Creek Cafe and onto Lamington National Park and bushwalks to the Stinson Memorial Crash Site and Larapinta Falls. So much to enjoy in the Scenic Rim.

Moogerah Lakeside Bush Retreat is a family-owned and operated outdoor education and retreat facility located on the shores of beautiful Lake Moogerah in the heart of the Scenic Rim, South East Queensland.
Conveniently located just 2km from the Cunningham Highway, our retreat is set within a peaceful bushland environment surrounded by the spectacular natural scenery of the Scenic Rim. We welcome a variety of groups including schools, church groups, community groups, families and outdoor adventure seekers looking to connect with nature and enjoy the outdoors.
Our retreat offers flexible accommodation options including basic powered and unpowered camping areas, group camping spaces, bunk-style cabins and a fully self-contained cottage, making it suitable for a range of outdoor education, retreat and nature-based experiential learning experiences. The property also includes facilities suited to larger organised group bookings, including bunkhouse accommodation, dining and gathering spaces and capacity for up to 100 guests across the site.
There is no shortage of opportunities to enjoy the natural environment. Guests can explore the lake by canoe or boat, enjoy fishing, bushwalking and outdoor activities, or simply relax and reconnect with nature. Lake Moogerah is well known for its Bass and Yellow Belly fishing, while our onsite bushwalk leads to Striker Point and the gorge waterfall with spectacular views along the way.
For those wanting to further explore the region, Spicers Gap National Park is only a short drive away and offers scenic walking tracks and breathtaking views over the Fassifern Valley and surrounding landscapes.
While we do not currently have a boat ramp onsite, guests can launch their boats at the nearby public boat ramp and utilise the sheltered bay located in front of the retreat.

We provide 10 spacious campsites next to Blackburn Dam that has two rock jetties to allow fishing for Barra, Spangled Perch, Eeltailed Catfish and other native fish. There is also Redclaw and Cherabin so bring your Yabby pots and canoes or kayaks.
Campers have access to a modern amenities block which has flushing toilets and hot showers. There is a powered camp kitchen for communal use.
Big skies that are great for stargazing and abundant birdlife in a peaceful setting provide a backdrop for your next getaway.
Cattle graze the property with the occasional donkey guarding the herd as we don't kill our dingoes.
There is prolific bird life and 7 types of wallabies and kangaroos as well as other wildlife in several ecosystems.
The property is located about 3 hours from Cairns or 1 hour from Cooktown on a sealed road. Once you turn off the highway, access is 4.5kms on a gravel road.
The town of Lakeland is just 8kms away with a Hotel, Roadhouse, Coffee shop and 2 well stocked local fresh produce stalls.
We are within an hour of Cooktown and Laura if you would like to do a day trip to the historic towns.

Kenilworth Rural Camping is a quiet, family friendly private camping area in the heart of Kenilworth, in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.
Adjacent to the Charles Street Mary River parklands, this 5 acre block has beautiful drive through, flat grassy sites. Shady or open spaces with a seasonal water hole on the property, 150mtrs from the Mary River, through the park or a 5 minute walk to town (600mtrs to the pub!).
We have 5 camping sites, each suitable to any size caravans, campers, tents etc. Each site has the capacity to fit 3 caravans or equivalent and up to 10 guests. Fire pits at all sites.
Please note we do not have amenities or drinking water and that you need to be self-sufficient with your own toilet/shower set up and bring everything you need with you and take out ALL waste.
Please do not book if you do not have your own toilet.
Please , nothing is to be burnt in the firepits other than firewood. No glass bottles or can's at all.
Dogs must be on a leash at ALL times and must be cleaned up after.
Family Group bookings welcome! Strictly no party groups.

Yes: Rocky Creek Homestead is the venue for ""Camping with Goats"! Not only enjoy a quiet and lazy morning with a seasonal creek running along the outlook from your camp site, but you will also love our goats, and they will love you visiting, especially our goat named "Squirt", who thinks he is a dog. You will be camping with them as they roam around your camp site. We have 130 acres to explore and welcome caravans, tents and RVs. Later in the day you can walk or pushbike ride the many trails then perhaps enjoy a swim in one of the swimming holes (weather permitting). On dusk enjoy a wine, beer and some cheese by the campfire while watching the goats with their kids play.
Mountain bike the many trails or walk around at sunrise to spot the many birds, wallabies, possums and the occasional koala as we are wildlife habitat.
We do have a Portable toilet onsite, however, no showers and campers must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure.
1 Pet per site is welcome, however, must be kept on a leash and under owners' control at all times.
We are located 15 minutes from Toowoomba for shopping, dining and 5 minutes to Withcott hotel or 10 to Murphy's Creek hotel both great country pubs.
Children under 4 are free.

Only 5 camping spots available gives you more than enough privacy. We have 2 dogs and they loved it. The fire pits are huge so bring plenty of wood. Heap of small branches lying around to start a fire. Easy work into town approximately 7 minutes.

Me and my wife had our first Hipcamp experience at Tony’s place, and it was absolutely fantastic. The property is beautiful and offers the perfect rural farm getaway. Peaceful, relaxing, and a wonderful escape from city life. Waking up to the sights and sounds of the countryside made us feel completely at home.
Tony was an exceptional host. When I ran out of firewood and didn’t have any cash on hand, he was incredibly understanding, helpful, and flexible with arranging payment, which I greatly appreciated.
Before leaving, I had the opportunity to meet Tony in person and enjoy a great conversation. During our chat, he casually pointed out a koala that had apparently been sitting right next to my tent all night. Somehow, I had completely missed it! We both had a good laugh about it, and it turned out to be the perfect ending to a memorable stay.
Thank you, Tony, for your hospitality, kindness, and for helping me discover what was literally right under my nose 🐨. I highly recommend staying here and would gladly return in the future!

If you’re looking for a farm stay that completely fills your cup, River Run Farm Stay is honestly something special. We came for a few nights and left wishing we had booked longer!
The kids were absolutely obsessed from the second we arrived — feeding animals, endless adventures, making little holiday best friends, and running themselves wild in the best possible way. Watching them unplug and just be kids again was magic.
The atmosphere here is what really makes it though. Beautiful property, peaceful views, campfires at night, and the kind of place where complete strangers become friends by the end of the weekend. Traveling with kids can be full on sometimes, so those relaxing nights around the fire with other adults were everything.
The animals are so well loved and cared for, the staff are beyond lovely, and every little part of this place feels thoughtful and welcoming. You can genuinely feel the heart behind River Run.
One of those rare places that makes you slow down, breathe deeper, and remember what matters. We made memories here we’ll talk about for years.
Safe to say River Run Farm Stay now owns a permanent little piece of our hearts ❤️

Lindsay is a wonderful wonderful person. He has special allocated areas for people who like it quiet or people who would like to have a bit of fun with music and loud talking! This really allowed my friends and I to have the best time possible. He tries to come around and talk to all of his campers and have a chat as well which was really nice to see!
