Spacious, level camping well-suited for travel trailers over 40 ft long.
Welcome to A Little Slice of Speewah — our little piece of the tropical hinterland, where life moves a little slower and there's always something growing. Set on five peaceful acres, our property offers a dedicated camping area at the front with power and water, or a space up the back with the horses near the dam, giving you a comfortable base to explore everything the region has to offer. Wander through the gardens, check out the fruit trees and veggie patches (many of which are still finding their feet), meet our friendly horses, and say hello to the puppies. While you'll feel a world away from the hustle and bustle, you're only 10 minutes from Kuranda's Heritage Markets, Skyrail, the Scenic Railway, Barron Falls, National Parks, The Tablelands - and so much more, the list could go on! Whether you're stopping by for a night or settling in for a few days, we hope you'll enjoy the fresh air, open space and relaxed pace that make Speewah such a special place to call home.Set at the front of the paddock, this spacious grassy site offers plenty of room to relax and unwind. Our privacy trees are still growing, but in the meantime you'll enjoy an open outlook towards a beautiful pocket of rainforest and the sounds of nature that come with it. Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet facilities. Perfectly positioned for exploring the region, you'll have easy access to national parks, state forests, local walking trails, mountain bike tracks, rivers for kayaking and fishing, and all the natural beauty Far North Queensland has to offer. Bordering the Atherton Tablelands, you're also within reach of wineries, cheese and chocolate makers, dairy farms and countless local attractions. From Kuranda's markets and Skyrail to Barron Falls and beyond, there's no shortage of things to see and do during your stay.
