We are located just off Tin Can Bay Road between Gympie and Rainbow Beach which is perfect retreat for outdoor enthusiasts. You can also bring your horse to go for a ride on the beach. Dogs welcome too. Perfect for big groups camping together for the weekend or travellers passing through. Whether you're a fishing enthusiast or a horse lover, our location has something for everyone. Bring your boat and enjoy a day of fishing at Tin Can Bay or bring your horses and explore the stunning beach trails at Rainbow beach. We provide secure and spacious yards, along with ample grassy areas for your horses to graze and kids to run. If you are sleeping in a swag you are welcome to roll it on our deck. There are also bush tracks leading out from the property Bundaberg is an easy 30 minute drive and Childers 15 minutes. Experience the charm of our countryside with supervised visits with our horses and Highland cows. Join us around 4:30 pm for the afternoon feed and grooming session. (Please note: The Highland Coos are away visiting a bull December and January 2025) Relax and enjoy a meal at the BBQ area, which overlooks the horse arena. If you bring your horse, for an additional fee, you can explore our arena featuring dressage letters, obstacles, drums, and jumps, or test your skills in a dedicated area with permanent obstacles. For your convenience, our well-equipped camp kitchen includes a fridge, toaster, kettle, electric frypan, and microwave, along with all the necessary cutlery and crockery. If you choose to bring your horse you will find stabling or yards under Extras as begin your booking. The cost can be seen as you view the sites. The stables are rubber floored, meaning you use minimal sawdust therefore minimal dust. They are equipped with automatic waterers and feed bins. The yards are separated so that the horses can't reach each other from one yard to the other. Please ensure these areas are cleaned before you leave. There are rakes and wheelbarrows provided near the arena and at the end of the stables for your convenience. Our sites are best suited to self contained camping but there is shower and toilet availability on the property. Hidden Camp was our first ever hipcamp and it was amazing. Quiet, lots of friendly ducks, donkeys, horses, chickens. Callam and Leah were super friendly and kept asking if we needed anything. Being close to the Bruce Hwy it was well positioned with lots of trees for shade, a few dams and a creek. We will also be back for sure

Nice quiet spot. We had a private grassy area that provided views to lovely hills in the distance! Amenities are very clean with great showers. Pool are is lovely too! My only complaint is that the gardens are sadly neglected as the photos on the website show beautiful maintained gardens. Overall experience though was positive and would still recommend it to others.

It was an absolutely incredible stay at the Kia Ora Pony Club! I’ve been living too close to the city of this is the kinda shower pressure you get out here! The views of the mountain scape across the road are phenomenal I highly recommend you wake at about 5:30 to see the cows scratching and the sun rise! Would stay again! Hosts are very understanding and kind!

I want to go back. The view is so lovely, mountain sunsets and beautiful fields. Ambience was perfected by birdsong and nighttime mooing - distant enough to be unobtrusive and enjoyable. Can’t recommend enough!
