Welcome to my Hipcamp! Beautiful camping area situated next to the Elliott River. 10 minutes drive to Coonarr Beach, Coonarr Wildflowers and Kinkuna National Park. Amazing Stargazing! Just a kilometer up the road from our site, you'll find a charming Dog Motel. Please keep in mind that the noise from the dog motel isn't a nightly occurrence, making it difficult to predict specific nights when it may be more active. However I've noticed that campers in caravans generally have a more insulated experience and are less affected by any early morning barking. If you prefer a quieter spot, I make it a priority to assign campers the farthest firepit, Camp 4, nestled deep in the bush, providing you with a peaceful retreat away from any noise. Additionally I'm delighted to offer electricity to all camps, ensuring your comfort and convenience during your stay. Whether you choose a campsite closer to the amenities or opt for the tranquility of Camp 4, rest assured that you'll have access to electricity. While the dog motel may occasionally add a touch of canine charm to the soundscape, I'm confident that the overall experience at my Hipcamp will be an enjoyable one. Come join me amidst the beauty of nature and let the peaceful surroundings outweigh any sporadic noises from our furry friends. Campsites can be 30m from amenities (toilet & shower). Dog friendly. Drinking water & camp kitchen available. Kangaroo are known to feed on the grass in this campsite. Perfect base for a visit to Bundaberg or an east coast trip. Great for a bigger group with different spaces and communal area.

Peaceful secluded campsite.
Friendly welcome on arrival and choice of campsite. Secluded, site surrounded by bush, with a fire pit. Easy access.

Sites were nice and flat, though not very big. Lots of trees, not very open. Toilet worked fine, shower was a bit of a Jerry rig. Proper bush camp style. Host was very friendly and even had a fire prepared incase I wanted one.

We cancelled our booking because of weather, heavy rain and very windy. We were hoping we could have a credit, but not sure how to do this.

Great quiet group camp spot
Our stay at the shack site was fantastic and we would go back.the site is huge and has great layout for us to hang out around the camp-fire, have yard games and also camp centre under gazebos. Amenities are basic but there's a flushing toilet and a cold shower which fully met our needs. I can't praise Maree highly enough, she was a great host! I never heard the dogs once in our 5 day stay :)
