Located on the Arkansas River and just minutes from Interstate 40 in Atkins, this RV/camping site backs right up to a gorgeous view of the Arkansas River and Petit Jean mountain. Water and electricity are located at each site! Just minutes away you have boat access to the Arkansas River at Sweeden Island Park AND Lake Atkins through the Lucky Landing launch site. This site is a sportsman's paradise as it is also conveniently located to the Galla Creek Wildlife Management Area, also just minutes away. Also, we are located right across the river from Petit Jean State Park and a few minutes from quaint downtown Atkins. Whether you're looking for great fishing and hunting or a peaceful respite from the world with a million-dollar view, this is the site for you! The 10 acres are open to explore and include three RV/campsites with water at each location and a gorgeous gully that empties into the Arkansas River. When the river is at a normal level a rock shelf lines the entire length of the river to make fishing and sunbathing, a breeze! If you want to venture out a bit, may we recommend the many offerings of Mount Nebo, Petit Jean Mountain, Mount Magazine, Altus, Russelville, and Conway; all located within 30 minutes to an hour from the campgrounds. This beautiful property sits on the banks of the Fourche La Fave (pronounced Foosh La Fay) River. This 151 mile long river was once the grounds of the Caddo Native American Tribe. The river is now home to a wide variety of wildlife, and offers multiple species of fish. Scott County is over 70% public national forest, with thousands of acres of public land available for the outdoor enthusiast. Though this property has the look and feel of woods and river camping, there is actually a 24 hour convenience store less than two miles away just in case you need a midnight snack! Welcome to Barker Gap! Opened in August 2024 we offer 3 beautifully shaded rv/camper spots, 2 pull thru spots and 1 back in. We have NO size or slide out restrictions, our spots were built with your comfort in mind. All spots come standard with 50A/30A/110 electric hookup, city water, Bbq/park grill, stone fire pit and sewage hookup at every campsite. Wi-Fi is also included for all campers. At this time we do not have bathrooms available to tent camping or any primitive style camping. The BEAR'S DEN cabin is a 1 room 1 bathroom cabin. Built to sleep 4 with a spacious queen bed perfect for falling asleep on, a cozy twin bed for reading/sleeping, and stowed under the twin bed is an adventure cot for that outside nap on the deck. The cabin is equipped with a mini fridge/freezer, a Keurig coffee maker, and a microwave) inverter. In the bathroom we have a metal wrapped 22" deep soaking tub equipped with a rainfall shower head to wash the stress away. No glamping cabin would be complete without a wave activated hand dryer a 43" Wi-Fi connected smart TV and the latest plug ins with USB ports included so you can forget that charging box at home. We have 40 acres of woods, waterfalls, hiking, stargazing, bird watching, and sunset watching for the campers who like primitive camping. Enjoy the best of both worlds with a quiet, natural area to camp in, and destinations to see close by. Private area with sun, and plenty of shade. Blackberry's are available to pick in late June or early July. There are three logging trails you can hike just behind the campground. They lead to a creek you can follow for moderate hike. There are cliffs, and plenty of scenery to enjoy. We are a short drive away from Eureka Springs, Turpentine Creek(big cat sanctuary), War Eagle Cavern, and War Eagle Mill. Hobbs State National Park is close by off Scenic Highway 12, with biking, and walking trails galore! We are also close to many of the NW Arkansas mountain biking trails in the area! Access to Beaver Lake is a short drive or a long hike down the scenic rock roads. Due to the remote, and private location, we want to remind anyone consuming alcohol under the age of 21 will not be tolerated. Safety is very important to us. We are looking forward to seeing you. Such a beautiful place to camp and hike. The directions to the site were very clear and we found it with no problems. Even with the creek being lower, we still loved swimming below the waterfall. Our dogs were living their best lives!! Over our four days, there was only one other group of campers and we didn’t hear them much. So peaceful and secluded. We stayed in campsite #4 and really appreciated the amount of tree cover to keep us cool. Would recommend lots of bug spray and citronella candles, because there are a lot of bugs in the summer! Overall, loved our time at the campsite and are planning on returning in the future!

Sam and Michelle’s site was just gorgeous, it’s right beside the creek and a bigger swimming hole that our kids just loved! The creek crossing was not high for us at all but the ground is very uneven and I do think a 4wd is necessary for the road. We parked on the other side of the creek and carried our things to the site and it wasn’t too bad at all. It was such a dreamy site all in all for our kids and us on our first camping trip. We read on another review that the outhouse at our site was out of order so we came prepared with a bathroom setup of our own. We also brought our own firewood in. It is pretty far from the nearest town so I recommend double checking that you’re bringing everything in. We had such a great time and were so sad to leave a day early due to weather since it’s such a magical spot.

We enjoyed our stay here! The hosts, Daniel and Laura stopped by shortly after we arrived to make sure we had everything and check in went smooth. They were welcoming and friendly. Daniel offered to refill our wood if we should use all that he provided. We had access to a canoe, kayaks, a pavilion with a picnic table, electricity, mini fridge, grilling area for charcoal. The site was well maintained and easy to level. No issues with full hook ups or getting in or out of RV area with our 33ft trailer. Beautiful flowers and sounds of nature throughout the property. Area was surrounded by trees and had plenty of shade or sunny spots to choose from. Neighbors are near by, but it was far enough away and natural barrier of trees made it feel private and secluded. Pet friendly and enough space for our great dane to get out all his zoomies and then cool off in the river. We enjoyed fishing and caught several varieties of fish during our stay. We did spot some Poison Ivy growing up a nearby tree, notified host, & he said he'd have it removed. Host is also in process of building a bath house so that will be an added perk, once it's finished, of an already wonderful piece of property. If we are ever in the area in the future, we'd love to stay here again.

This Hipcamp site was a true gem for a private and comfortable escape! Tucked away under a canopy of trees, it offered abundant shade and truly felt like being deep in the woods, far removed from any city noise. The swimming spots were fantastic, making for refreshing dips throughout the day. Everything about the site itself was perfect, and I would absolutely visit again. The only significant downside was not about the site but an inconsiderate group at the next site while we’re staying. They played loud music on a speaker and talked loudly late into the night. What was particularly concerning was their smoking while cooking in the woods, a truly unpleasant and potentially hazardous behavior that showed a lack of respect for the environment and other campers. I hope people are mindful that this is a shared space and remember to be respectful of their neighbor campers.

The treehouses at End of the Trail were very cute and comfortable. Everything you need except bedding. No water though, and the porta potty was far away near Site #1. We stayed at Site #2 Freebird. The River bottom is too muddy for swimming, but the frogs, cicadas, owls, and lightning bugs made up for it. Could hear some highway noise but did not wake me up. Site #1 has a side creek that moves swifter and we rinsed off in it bc no one was there. Felt very safe. Great not to have to set up a tent.

A very special place. The swimming holes were so amazing. Definitely need 4 wheel drive to park by your site which we had. Only downfall was a very large group showed up our last day and night and it was close and loud. No fault of the owners, maybe just check to see if any large groups coming in before you book.

Sitting above the Arkansas River you have an excellent view of the river from two vantage points. With a large almost 2 acre clearing there is plenty of room to roam. Magical sunsets and more stars than you can count! When it's a full moon, you can watch it coming up through the trees as you are sitting in front of the fire. If you are really lucky, sometimes you can watch the searchlight from the river barges as they navigate the big bend in the river. If you are a nature lover this place has it all. Navigate to the entrance here (https://maps.app.goo.gl/GyC2mifqGSaosHSm7) and you will find the main entrance to both sites: Is located near the bottom of the road but actually has two views of the river. It is very secluded and a little more concealed, which can be good on hot days as there are more trees for coverage. NOTE: Site 2 can only support tents and small popups. The site will allow for multiple vehicles to be parked, so no problem there. If you bring any vehicles please do not ride them on the property as they damage the grass, there are lots of good off-road riding to be had in the area. Toadsuck Lock and Dam park are about 30 minutes away, and if you need a big Walmart there is one 10 minutes past that. There is also a big Walmart about 30 minutes in the other direction at the intersection of Chenal Parkway and Cantrell Road. And if you like hiking and climbing then you cannot miss Pinnacle Mountain State Park! Climb to the top and get the best views in all the area, 360 degrees views up there. And if you want something a little less steep, the Kingfisher trail at the bottom makes a nice gentle loop next to the Little Maumelle river where you can see absolutely GIANT cypress trees. Also, the Ouachita National Recreation Trailpasses just 5 miles from our place, and it loops around the entire north side of Lake Maumelle. There is a trailhead and parking near North Shore Landing. Welcome to Ouachita River Haven! Our 11-site campground is situated on Arkansas Hwy 74E, approximately three miles east of Jasper and three miles west of the Hasty Cutoff for quick access to the Buffalo River! Being former camping enthusiasts ourselves, we built our RV park to accommodate rigs anywhere from a small popup to campers and motorhomes in excess of 40'. We also created each campsite to provide LOTS of personal space, with campsites being anywhere from 30 feet to 50 feet apart. Each site features a firepit, with small bundles of firewood available for purchase. Picnic tables are also available for your stay. We offer five campsites that are pull-through with full hookups, and six back-in sites that have water and electric only (a dump station is available for your convenience). Also featured is a BEAUTIFUL shower building; one side for the women, and one side for the men. Once you step inside and shut the door, you will have the beautifully tiled shower, toilet and lavatory to yourself until you are finished! Back in 2018, when the landwas FIRST acquired, there was only a water spigot and a 14x14 structure that was basically a glorified shed... Now we refer to it as the Gallery Cabin. Its slowly gaining local art work pieces for display and purchasing... Now, 7 years later, we have created many fun spaces and built many structures for our many hobbies and passions. We have built a small workshop, a rock cutting/shaping/soil mixing area, Shipping Container workshop and decked out a shed with a work station and a long marble counter top. We have built a 3-level tree fort with a crow's nest and a 10x12 screened Bungalow in the woods. This is a great spot to have less chance of bugs at night, still have electricity for Lights and phone charging. We have also created a large garden with 9 beds, using various aspects of Permaculture, including several Hugelculture beds. We created a comfortable and private outside shower in the upper corner of the garden, that is perfect after a long day of having our hands in the soil! (Named the "Flower Shower" as we grow various seasonal flowers, Sage and some beautiful Poppies that can be seen from the shower.) It's now equipped with Propane heat for optional warm showers year long. Because this is Arkansas, and we live at the top of a ridge, our topsoil is mainly clay and rocks... so one of the first endeavors we started was creating a 5 bin mass composting system to build up our soil for our gardens. We found grocery stores and coffee shops to donate hundreds of pounds of old produce and coffee grounds. Since our arrival we have made over 6000+ lbs of beautiful compost and continue to do so today! We are a pet friendly place. We also get rare bookings being a SnifSpot ( Dog Park) But all dogs must be leashed or proven ( caretaker onsite approval) of being off leash trained. The only Exception is Miguel-dog. He has been on the property with us for 3+ years. Very gentle and calm. He usually needs to greet you, then you can be free. He can be separated if need. (Aggressive dogs are NOT allowed. Thanks.) We have a resident, neutered male cat named, Hikari aka "Ari." He is dog friendly. However if your dog chases cats, please keep your dog leashed. We have planted 10 fruit and nut trees and started a 'Berry Orchard'. We also have a small vineyard consisting of about 15 trained Muscadine vines. Closer to the house is a wonderful Herb Spiral that showcases of up to 20 medicinal and cooking herbs and we have a dozen more herbs in the other garden and around our land as well. We also have been planting a food forest outside the garden area, growing PawPaw trees, Gooseberries, Jerusalem Artichokes and Opossum grapes for the critters... so they may leave our actual garden alone, but they can still come close to get a tasty snack. We also built a large chicken coop for 4 egg layer chickens, 4 ducks and 3 guineas that free range our yard during the day. Our numbers vary year to year. There is over a mile plus of trails through our woods, criss-crossing over our seasonal springs that we have built bridges over. Our trails go up and down the mossy topped valleys and ridges with many places to comfortably stop and rest along the way. One aspect about all this that we are extremely proud of, is that we have built 75% or more out of RECLAIMED MATERIALS and RECLAIMED LUMBER (and made it look good!) -- Learn more about this land: -- We are located only 12 miles from I-40, just north of Vilonia. Our Homestead Farm: Barefoot Gardens, is on 8 acres of hardwood forest, where we use various Permaculture techniques to grow over 140+ varieties of various herbs, fruits, vegetables, trees and flowers! The nights here are peaceful and filled with the soothing sounds of treefrogs. Fireflies dance in the night air as the stars peak thru the leaves overhead! (We commonly camp in our own yard for this exact same reason!) Besides multiple camping locations and a beautiful forest, we also host over a dozen Educational Workshops and Homestead Demonstrations! Conveniently located right off Hwy 62 and Houseman Access Rd, we are minutes away from Beaver Lake, The White River, and Table Rock Lake, as well as Mark Twain National Forrest. Nearby you can find a full 18-Hole Disk Golf course, Beaver Bridge aka The Little Golden Gate, a plethora of Hiking & Riding trails, Swimming, Floating, Boating, Fishing, Nightlife/Entertainment (The Farm and SideBar,) and many other activities to keep you busy before you ever step foot in town! Potable Well Water is available onsite to fill containers. There are several great spots for Hammocks! We have 1 cut in site and several dispersed potential sites- you can pull off the driveway to camp or walk into the woods to camp in a more secluded spot. The more secluded spots are not accessible by car we have a wagon and can help you haul gear if you ask. Please remember when choosing a spot- this is a leave no trace, pack in pack out property and, most importantly, our home so please be mindful of waste and take out whatever you bring in with you including trash. Even though we are right off Hwy 62, we have a full line of trees separating us from the highway so you don’t see it, but can hear it slightly. Overall it’s a quiet spot with beautifully manicured flowerbeds and wild vegetation to the enjoy including butterfly bushes, zinnias, and other popular pollinator/butterfly attractants! Fires are allowed as long as proper Fire Safety Guidelines are followed (including use of a fire ring/barrier and ensuring your fire is properly extinguished. There’s LOTS of rock available onsite to make a fire ring.) Split firewood is available onsite for a small fee, or feel free to harvest wood from the woods surrounding the property for free, but please do NOT bring or use Out of Region wood on our property due to pests. Sitting above the Arkansas River you have an excellent view of the river from two vantage points. With a large almost 2 acre clearing there is plenty of room to roam. Magical sunsets and more stars than you can count! When it's a full moon, you can watch it coming up through the trees as you are sitting in front of the fire. If you are really lucky, sometimes you can watch the searchlight from the river barges as they navigate the big bend in the river. If you are a nature lover this place has it all. Navigate to the entrance here (https://maps.app.goo.gl/GyC2mifqGSaosHSm7) and you will find the main entrance to both sites: Is located near the bottom of the road but actually has two views of the river. It is very secluded and a little more concealed, which can be good on hot days as there are more trees for coverage. NOTE: Site 2 can only support tents and small popups. The site will allow for multiple vehicles to be parked, so no problem there. If you bring any vehicles please do not ride them on the property as they damage the grass, there are lots of good off-road riding to be had in the area. Toadsuck Lock and Dam park are about 30 minutes away, and if you need a big Walmart there is one 10 minutes past that. There is also a big Walmart about 30 minutes in the other direction at the intersection of Chenal Parkway and Cantrell Road. And if you like hiking and climbing then you cannot miss Pinnacle Mountain State Park! Climb to the top and get the best views in all the area, 360 degrees views up there. And if you want something a little less steep, the Kingfisher trail at the bottom makes a nice gentle loop next to the Little Maumelle river where you can see absolutely GIANT cypress trees. Also, the Ouachita National Recreation Trailpasses just 5 miles from our place, and it loops around the entire north side of Lake Maumelle. There is a trailhead and parking near North Shore Landing. This remote primitive campground is between Kingston and Compton, Arkansas. in the Ozark Mountains of the Boston plateau. The wooded 15 acres is nestled just above a scenic bluff looking south. You can set your tent on our grassy knoll or find a random spot anywhere under our hardwoods or pines. There is one designated gravel site pad for a mid size trailer. The only roads to Spoken N’ Tru are gravel. I highly recommend taking the gravel route from Kingston. This particular gravel road is 5 miles. If you are pulling a camper this is definitely the best. There is another longer 8 mile option from 412 - south from Dryfork in between Marble and Ozark. The shortest route if from 103 but it has a deep creek crossing and don't recommended unless you have a good 4 wheel vehicle. The best road to Ponca is County Road 1300 which takes you to Highway 43. Please keep in mind that Spoke N’ Tru is a cozy but primitive camping site with no amenities so be ready to check your electronics before heading down our gravel roads. Lastly, please read amenity notes, especially regarding waste.

Guests receive a sample of the lovely bars of goat's milk soaps made with the finest oils and goat's milk from their granddaughter's prize-winning goats. Summer catch-and-release fishing, hiking, and enjoying the small dipping pool, playground, game court, and a large fire pit by the pond and three other fire-pit areas near the RV and campsites as well as by Yacht and the Cottage. These are just a few of the things that help make a stay at Jubilee Farms special. Picnic tables and charcoal grills provide for family enjoyment. Located in beautiful Montgomery County, Arkansas; Montgomery County was formed on December 9, 1842, and named for Gen. Richard Montgomery, a hero of the American Revolution. Sixty-three percent of the county is national forest land. We are a short scenic 12 mile drive from Little Missouri Falls, Bard Springs, and Albert Pike with area hiking trails, cascading waterfalls, and beautiful backroads. We are within 10 miles of the Caddo River and local canoe rental. Glenwood is 20 minutes away with gas stations, restaurants, and flea markets. Wegner Crystal Mine is located in Mt Ida, approx 40 minutes from our park. We are within a hour drive of Hot Springs; Bathhouse Row, Garvin Woodland Gardens, Mountain Tower, Crystal Ridge Distillery, Magic Springs, various tourist activities, restaurants and shopping. Mena is located within an hour drive of our park; Blue Zipline, restaurants, shopping. Once a guest's books any of our sites, our Guest Terms and Conditions Waiver will need to be signed/agreed to this can be found on our website and will be sent via guest FIRST welcome email after guest books their site. Waiver must be signed before guest entry is given into our park, no exceptions, due to our insurance constraints! We must receive our signed waiver no less than 7 days prior to your stay with us, which we will not repeatedly ask for, your stay will just be cancelled! We are a privately owned park, we reserve the right to cancel a booking at our own discretion at any time; before booking, during booking; or during stay. IMPORTANT River Usage: Southfork of the Caddo River is an extraordinary body of water and considered non-navigable; guest's may FLOAT down the MIDDLE of the creek for fishing, swimming, kayaking but must enter on our property, guest may not step out of the floating device on another person's private creek property and must remain in the floating device; during your stay guest's must stay within our private property creek footage for swimming or wading in the creek, if guest's encounter anyone along the river that does not allow this recreational activity please refer them to us, so we can refer it to the local game and fish department for investigation. It is always useful to carry your video camera with you so there is no he said, she said. We encourage our guest's to use the local lakes (Fancy Hill Lake, Lake Ouachita and Lake Greeson) and USFS streams for fishing and wading including the beautiful Little Missouri Falls.
