Ouachita Campground at Edendell is a great place to basecamp out of. We offer 26 full hook up rv sites with free wifi, tent camping, glamping deck, and guest house. We have 6 Kayaks for rent with optional shuttle service. Near by activities are ATV trails, mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding, boating, crystal digging, diamond mine is 1 hour away. We also have an airsoft battle ground on site for special occasions. Our guest facilities for all campers include bathrooms, showers, laundry, and kitchenette.

This walk-in or drive-up campsite includes a fire ring, picnic table, and swing, making it a relaxing spot to unwind after a day of exploring the Ouachita Mountains. Guests have access to nearby bathrooms, hot showers, laundry facilities, and a shared kitchenette—all included with your reservation. Enjoy peaceful catch-and-release fishing right on site, or rent a kayak for $40 per day and spend time kayaking the Ouachita River just 1/2 mile away. Located just 15 minutes from Mount Ida, the campground is surrounded by some of Arkansas’s best outdoor recreation and crystal mining destinations. Adventure seekers will love the easy access to crystal mines including Wegner Quartz Crystal Mines, Avant Mining, Twin Creek Crystal Mine, and the free Crystal Vista mine! The area also offers zip lines, kayaking, mountain biking, swimming holes, horseback riding, and hiking on the famous Womble Trail. Ouachita Campground at Edendell in Oden Arkansas is located just off highway 88 between Mena and Hot Springs Arkansas. Big t's BBQ is just around the corner as well as the Ouachita River! With a beautiful view of the Edendell Valley, scattered with massive oak trees, pines, and two ponds, the blue ridges of the Ouachita mountains rising in the distance, this RV site offers a wonderful place to rest, relax, and enjoy the beauty of Creation! Must drive or short walk to guest facilities from the RV site. If needed, we do have RV sites next to guest facilities. It's just a little busier over there so most prefer to stay at the regular RV sites.

Close to Ouachita river, crystal mines, offroad trails, hiking, kayaks available for rent. No access to inside of unfinished building. Guest facilities are in building behind lodge. Guest facilities includes showers, bathrooms, laundry, kitchenette. Electric car charging available. Must be able to climb stairs! Deck is set up for 2 people.. This is a beautiful location with very friendly and helpful hosts. A view from our camper site was nice and the stargazing was awesome at night. I had a little bit of mixed feelings about the location because it is at the top of a hill and though it gives a good view.l, it a bit dangerous for our toddler and we had to watch him extremely closely to not get too close to the edge of the fairly steep hill. It was hard to tell that from the pictures and would’ve been nice to have known in advance.

Site #12 is an AMAZING SPOT! Joanna was so kind and they really want their property enjoyed! She was very responsive and we enjoyed roaming the property / creek / ponds with our pups so much! We extended a couple days we enjoyed so much! Many thanks!

Amazing place! Great facilities, the hosts were the absolute most accessible and kind, answered all our questions right away. Helped us put in kayaks and learned the world is smaller than we thought. 10/10 would recommend!

Nice spot with views into the Ozark mountains of Arkansas. Quiet and nice spot to walk around with the hound dog. Saw a summer tanager and a few other nice birds. Wifi was a bit touch and go, due to the storms in the area, but otherwise all was good.

Just spent a week here & it was so peaceful. The hosts were very nice & very accommodating. They have plenty of washers & dryers if you plan on digging for crystals or if you just need some clean clothes. They also have 2 showers with hot water for a nice shower after rockhounding. And if the weather gets bad they have a stove & kitchen area for you to cook. The scenery is so beautiful & breathtaking. Thank you Joanna & Jason for a peaceful beautiful stay, we will definitely be back!

I love this place. The new owners are working very hard to upgrade this beautiful space. I can't wait to come back. The site is going to be a wonderfully eclectic site for tent camping, RV camping and rooms in the "big" house. For now, it has everything you need, including a community kitchen and free washers and dryers. The family that owns the property is warm, welcoming and very happy to provide any help needed.

Easy to find. Joanna was there to greet and show me around, was quick to respond, very up beat and pleasant. 1st time glamping, stayed 2 nights on deck loved the idea of not having to carry all the camping gear and not having to break it all down. The comforts of home but yet still had outdoor experience. Town was 30 minute drive. Joanna was very helpful at recommending places to visit. Extension cord and USB was available to charge devices or bring a fan if needed. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Second time at this campground, first time at spot 12 and it’s not me of our favorite spots ever! The views and scenery can’t be beat. Joanna is always very responsive! We love camping here and close by to forest, waterfalls and Mt Ida for Crystal hunting! We will without a doubt come back. Spot 12 is huge! Super clean and quiet (close to the road but it’s not heavily travelled).

Glampingdeck Ouachita Mountain view
This was a fantastic site for out first glamping trip. My daughter and I decided we want to ease our way into taking camping trips and this was a great way to start. The deck looked exactly like I expected from the pictures. Joanna was so friendly and helpful, and she went above and beyond to help make sure we were warm enough (the nighttime low ended up being colder than I'd expected when we booked the site, but she set up an electric blanket for us and an extra covering around the outside of the bed.) The bathroom and kitchen area was very nearby and easy to get to. The sunrise views were spectacular. We would absolutely stay here again.

I had a great time here. The host was very helpful, even when the storm knocked out the cell service. The site was clean and maintained. With a nice area to explore. The host even sent hernson to helpnwith my car troubles as i was checking out. I had a very nice stay. ☺️

We loved camping here! This family is so sweet and very accommodating. The grounds are beautiful with a couple of ponds to fish at, spacious camping areas, great views, fire rings. The guest facilities have laundry, bathrooms and showers as well as a fridge and cooking area. Good cell service (Verizon) in the area. The location is close by Mt. Ida crystal mines, we used it as a base camp for rock hounding. We will be back!
