Daniel was a great host. Communicated well before hand about some storm damage. Upon arrival he was great at checking in and making sure our needs were met. Would love to come back.

We loved this site! The electricity and mini fridge were a great perk we weren’t used to having. The pavilion was great to huddle under as it rained the whole weekend. The river noises were so peaceful and there were multiple great spots for a tent. It’s perfect secluded and right next to the water. The river is beautiful and calm and swimmable when it’s not super high.

The privacy of the. Property 0n the river and excellent amenities made this place so special and top notch ... The whole experience was amazing from the birds sanctuary, variety of fish swimming in the river was so exciting . This place is a come back for sure .... Daniel’s place is amazing! He met us the evening we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed. His site is right on the river close to some rapids, loved just sitting in his swings listening to the water and birds. I can’t say enough about his place.

Daniel is very friendly and accommodating! His place is very easy to get to and only a couple of miles from a 24 hour convenience store. There are several trails within 30 minutes to hike, but there is plenty of room for kids to play and dogs to roam right on the place. We want to come back in the summer to enjoy the river. Thanks!

Truly a slice of heaven. Beautiful property, well maintained and you can’t be closer to an absolutely beautiful river. The owners were the most gracious hosts and truly enjoyed their company. Will definitely be back.

We absolutely loved our stay! The property was spacious, private and just beautiful, even in the Winter! The gazebo was great for sitting outside, the swings by the fire pit were perfect for watching the river flow. We also appreciated the standing grill for cooking. The full RV hookup made our 24 night stay very convenient (very good water). We enjoyed taking walks, relaxing to the sounds of the river and just being still for awhile. We loved that our dog was free to explore without worry, he loved it!
Daniel is just great! He was attentive to our needs without being intrusive. Of course, he kept us stocked with wood for our fires, checked to see if we needed anything and was very informative about the area. But more than that, he was a great resource when we experienced a couple of our own challenges. He connected us with people that could help, and was also personally on hand to see that all was well. What a thoughtful and caring host, he made our stay so great. Truth be told, he is the reason we are looking to buy our own property in this area! There are some great and helpful neighbors on the road as well. Daniel and Laura are kind and welcoming hosts, we hope to see you again!

We loved camping on Daniels land. It was secluded, and good for the soul. The surrounding nature is gorgeous and there is a store appx 2 miles out that has a majority of what you’ll need. If you’re looking for a true natures retreat, this is it ! We can’t wait to come back.

Spots like these are what I love about Hipcamp! My pup and I had the place to ourselves, with room to roam and right on the river. Can't beat the price with electricity! There is a sign at the road to tell you you're there.

My husband and our three dogs absolutely loved it. It’s secluded, very picturesque and relaxing and we really appreciated being able to have our dogs off leash so they could stretch out and run. Even though it rained close to record amounts two of our days there we enjoyed being in the camper with the blinds open seeing the beautiful trees and river.

My partner and I loved how tucked away and secluded this location was in comparison to other typical campsites. The swing benches along the creek added an extra touch of magic and we appreciated how easy it was to access water and electricity!
Our two dogs loved visiting with the local pup on site, Bolin, and never missed the opportunity to run around and play in the shaded lawn next to our site!
The host was incredibly friendly and made us feel more than welcome!

This is a perfect spot for a getaway. It’s private and on a river with a pavilion with views of the river and a very functional fire pit that supports all kinds of campfire cooking including Dutch oven cooking. The host Daniel is terrific and takes great care of his guests, including making sure there is plenty of firewood! Other pluses include access to potable water and power. Highly recommend this spot!!

The location did not disappoint. It is very peaceful and very relaxing. My most favorite part was sitting in the swings and watching the sunset. Daniel had firewood waiting on us. Daniel checked on us and offered to bring more wood and pick up any trash we had. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a nice, quiet and relaxing stay.

This place is AMAZING! Daniel is a great host, very friendly amd attentive. We never ran out of firewood and he checked in on us often. He recommended a few places to fish and we caught so many! We will definitely be back!!

This place was fantastic! Great service and communication from the owner. Really nice location by the water. Even though the water was low, it wasn't gross or swampy. Also, there were almost no mosquitoes or flies, which was so nice! And we really appreciated the sewer connections right there at the camper site.
I will say, some of the amenities weren't in tip top shape, like the fire pit and the countertop on the patio. But I only say that so you'll have realistic expectations, not as a complaint.
For the price, this was an excellent campground and we'd be more than happy to come back!

This place is amazing!. Hosts are so nice. We would definitely travel from pa just to come back here. Private, well kept, nice swimming area, fishing. Loved the covered deck with sink and mini fridge. Kept us stocked with firewood. Rented the canoe/kayak. Short distance to gas station..zero t mobile service though. And for us old people I suggest water shoes...rocks were tough to get past to water. Kids had no issues. This property is exactly what my husband and I want one day! Good job Danny and wife! Hope to see u again someday.
