This beautiful property sits on the banks of the Fourche La Fave (pronounced Foosh La Fay) River. This 151 mile long river was once the grounds of the Caddo Native American Tribe. The river is now home to a wide variety of wildlife, and offers multiple species of fish. Scott County is over 70% public national forest, with thousands of acres of public land available for hiking, ATV/UTV/Jeep riding, and many other activities for the outdoor enthusiast. Though this property has the look and feel of woods and river camping, there is actually a 24 hour convenience store less than two miles away just in case you forgot something or need a midnight snack! Beautiful flowing river for swimming, fishing, canoeing. Nice open air pavilion with power,  LED lighting and a large picnic table. New for 2026 is the full custom bathroom! (Toilet, Sink and Hot Shower!) We think you'll love it! There's a firepit, (firewood provided free) with a nice pergola (porch swings too!) There is also a camp style grill for cooking right at the rivers edge.  Dedicated hammocking area overlooking the river, or have some friendly competition with a game of Bag-O game (boards provided).  This area offers a wide open space for exercising, walking/bike riding along a country road, or just relaxing by the riverbank.  Want a little more adventure? This area boasts an expansive network of country dirt roads and trails for your ATV/UTV or Jeep, and is less than five miles from the Ouachita National Forests' Fourche Mountain Trail. All this but still close to civilization. A 24 hour convenience store is less than two miles from the campsite. This was our second visit to Yearling Ridge and won’t be our last. Unfortunately our stay was cut short due to weather, but that’s camping! We’ll be back this fall - I can’t recommend this place enough!

We love going to yearling ridge! We have been mamy times. Daniel always makes sure we have fire wood and if we run out, he brings more. He recently added a bath house! It is so nice!! Definitely recommend going to check his place out!

This place will ruin regular campgrounds for you! It’s an amazing place to stay. The bathroom is nice and offers nice hot showers and the covered deck is a nice place to cook and hangout. We’ve already booked another trip for June if that tells you how great this place is.

This one’s a gem. Your host has created the most beautiful, serene camp environments we’ve ever experienced and we camp a LOT. From the 10 acre, sole occupant site on the river with a brand new bath house to thoughtful amenities like the mini fridge in the pergola, you’ll be spoiled for anything else! Your host is 100% gracious and responsive. We left feeling like we have a new friend in Arkansas.

Paradise!!

My fiance and I found this private paradise on a river 🤗 it was perfect!!! 💓 Tent site plenty of room for alot of tents 2 rv/camper hookups. New bathroom installed (shower not completed yet). Perfect for solo, couples, families and friends gathering. All private one booking. Had small fridge and cook burner, and firewood provided and kayaks and a small boat to rent cheap. Loved the deck with kitchenette and picnic table and the arched fireplace area with swinging benches and chair. So relaxing!! I stayed up very late and was up very early swinging next to firepit, looking at the stars listening to crickets and water flowing, firepit and the morning birds chirping, water flowing and faint rooster call in distance. Very nice host came by to check in about an hour after we arrived. Will def be back. Didn't catch any fish. So relaxing under the stars listening to the river flow. Neighbors up the road with chickens u can see from a distance free range. Def recommend!

We loved the property. Being right on the water was awesome. We brought our 2 dogs who could play in the water and run off leash. It’s very private and a major bonus was the newly built bathhouse. It was peaceful and relaxing, would definitely rent again!!

Winter RV Stay

Absolutely Wonderful! This was our second "winter months" stay at Yearling Ridge, and it was amazing. We love the location, the privacy, the size of the property and the views and sounds of the river...beautiful even in winter. We did have some cold temperatures and some ice, but we never lost power, which was great!. Daniel is such a wonderful host! We spent 30 plus days here, and Daniel checked in on us every few days making sure we had wood for fires but also making sure we were doing okay and enjoying our stay. Our dog Deacon loved exploring the property freely, and loved seeing Daniel as well :) Daniel has added a shower house , and has also made WiFi available. These are thoughtful additions to enhance every kind of camper's stay! Thank you to Daniel and Laura for opening up this piece of paradise to these two Northwest Ohio folks, hoping to find our own mountain retreat. Anyone choosing to stay here will not be disappointed

Great little spot that you won’t have to share with many or any others. You’re right on the Fourche La Fave river. You have a fire pit basically on the river with a nice gazebo adorned with warm string lights. 20/30/50 amp power worked flawlessly and you have water as well. Great spot. The hosts are super nice. 10/10 would camp here again!

Amazing spot. They really made sure there’s everything you could need at the site. The river is beyond beautiful. The pavilion had all the extras one could need and more. We had an amazing time and will be back as soon as possible in Spring. I even had a dead battery in my car as we were trying to leave and Daniel came to the rescue to give me a jump start. Best Hipcamp we’ve been to yet!

We absolutely loved our stay here! Our three dogs had the best time exploring and going on endless “snifaris” (aka sniffing safaris) — so many new smells, trails, and riverside adventures to enjoy. The campsite itself is stunning — the flowing river is perfect for swimming or just relaxing beside, and we spent the evenings by the firepit grilling and listening to the water. The open-air pavilion with lights and power made cooking and hanging out super comfortable, and the hammocking area overlooking the river was an unexpected favorite. Daniel, the host, was amazing — incredibly responsive and friendly. When we messaged about grabbing a little extra firewood (we’d packed light, knowing some would be available) and mentioned that one of the water faucets wasn’t shutting off fully, he replied right away and had it sorted quickly. Between the peaceful scenery, the great amenities, and how close it is to both trails and a convenience store, this place truly has everything — adventure, comfort, and calm. We can’t recommend it enough. Whether you’re coming to unwind by the river or explore the surrounding trails, this is one Hipcamp you don’t want to miss!

This is a beautiful spot with complete privacy. All the services were easy to access and worked well. The covered pavilion was wonderful touch, and access to the river was easy. The host was very attentive, responding to questions almost immediately. We would recommend this to everyone!

The campsite was perfect. Daniel provided firewood and came by to be sure we had everything we needed. Very nice guy! The river was a little low so kayaking was confined a bit. There is a cabin on the property but it was a good ways away and vacant while we were there so we had total privacy. It was very peaceful but I do want to mention that there are animals nearby that made lots of noise. A rooster likes to crow during the day and we heard a donkey in the evenings. Was not annoying to us, but it might be to some so I wanted to mention. But the campsite is worth it with the kitchen area that has a mini fridge and a working sink near the picnic table. Swings and a hammock area set up made it so nice!! We loved it! Would recommend and will go again!!!
